I kept seeing my friends post amazing photos that Jackson had taken, so when I needed new corporate headshots he was the only one that I considered working with, even though I live in New York City. Jackson was amazing from the first communication. Super quick responses and very accommodating and flexible given that I needed to travel for the photos (he added me as a third shoot when he usually only does two a day). If you don't see the availability that you need on his schedule, just ask! Ahead of the shoot, he sent detailed instructions for preparation and logistics (take his parking advice and plan lots of time to navigate the fashion district and use the lot that he recommends). I put together an inspiration board on pinterest ahead of the shoot, which I also recommend doing because Jackson can do so many different styles and types and he will accommodate what you want! I used his MUA Heather who was also amazing. She stayed on set throughout the entire shoot and made sure that my hair looked great in each photo. While things can be touched up in post, since you get every photo that Jackson takes, it's great to have ones that don't need touching up. The day of the shoot, he and Heather made the shoot SO FUN. I usually hate getting my photo taking, but had so much fun that I want to go back and get some personal photos just for me. As for the most important thing - the photos themselves - there were so many great photos that I had a really hard time choosing my favorites. This is very rare for me - I don't normally think I am very photogenic and am happy if I get even 1 photo that I like out of a shoot. Well, I favorited over 50.
