This is such a hidden gem!! They have such a beautiful variety of plants I was literally stunned. It was so hard to choose! But I went home with a large monstera and a pothos, so gorgeous!! Definitely going back for more ;) The staff were so kind and very helpful as well. It was a bit hidden in a small indoor business park on Broadway, so keep your eyes peeled! You don't want to miss it.

I stopped by with my sister to save her orchid and to get some small plants as well. We initially had trouble finding the location but it's inside the plaza on that block - I think it's called Broadway Plaza. There's a sign outside- look out for the sign. We called the store and they picked up and helped with directions! The owner, Alex I believe was his name was so amazing. He answered all our questions, repotted the orchid and answered all the questions we had about taking care of our current plants and for future plants. They also have soooo many options and choices. They sell cute planter pots as well if you need some! If you have a plant that needs some help or are in need of new plants, stop by!

I bought a pink princess philodendron from here, and wow it was a beautiful masterpiece for any plant collector. I recommend this place a lot if you have a green thumb or a plant mother.

I had an amazing experience visiting My Bonita Gardens! They have a great variety of both rare and common plants. Their plants are well taken care of and pest free. I would recommend this shop to any plant collector whether you're just starting out or a more experienced collector looking for something new!!

One of, if not my favorite place to plant shop. This is a hidden gem for beautiful and healthy plants- from the common to the rare- in a multitude of sizes. Amazing, helpful owners and selection, as well as the option to purchase a pot and repot your new plant. If you love plants or need a gift for that plant-loving person in your life, this is the spot!

Far from being much of a gardener prior to this year, there is a certain excitement of envisioning what one's garden could become with some of the beautiful plants that are for sale, inside and outside the gates of Florist Hills & Garden Center. From the dreamy stage to the practical portion of what your outdoor and indoor plans will become, takes little effort with the knowledge and support of the staff, who can get your questions answered in a clear and concise manner. If I were to pinpoint a particular characteristic that distinguishes my purchasing history, a knowledge based customer service relationship always is atop the pecking order. (Something one will never get at Home Depot which is a mere few blocks up Woodhaven Blvd) With the middle portion of the vegetable gardening season upon us, every plant I purchased at Florist Hills & Garden Center is producing vegetables, growing tall and strong and continue to thrive in my backyard, which previously had really no nutrients in the soil nor fertilizer, it was just dirt, dirty dirt.. Based on the plants being spaced improperly and their continued ability to flourish with daily watering I know why now it is that I find myself walking the isles every two weeks. Whatever I plant, whatever the advice I receive, it can be trusted.

The staff is very friendly, helpful and patient. The guy helping us held up a few trees while we were trying to decide, trimmed it where we wanted, tied it up and helped us get it securely in the car. We ended up spending only a few dollars more than we would have at Home Depot and this was a much better experience; not to mention our tree is beautiful!

I ordered a dozen long stem pink roses for my mother for Mother's Day because she specifically…read moreloves pink roses. The arrangement shown on the website was a beautiful bouquet of vibrant pink roses arranged elegantly in a tall vase with full presentation and volume. I expected to receive exactly what was advertised in both quality, color, and arrangement. Instead, what my mother received looked completely different. The roses delivered were peach-colored, not pink, and the arrangement did not look like the picture shown on the website at all. Peach is not pink, and this was not a slight shade variation, it was an entirely different color. The flowers did not resemble the advertised product I ordered. I accidentally selected the following week for delivery instead of Mother's Day weekend, but I caught the mistake the very same day and immediately called the store. I explained the error and clearly stated that if they could not accommodate a Mother's Day delivery, they could simply cancel the order. I was told it was absolutely no problem and that they could accommodate it, so there was no issue with timing. The real issue came when I called to ask why peach roses were sent instead of the pink roses I specifically ordered. The man who answered said he was the owner, and instead of professionally addressing the concern, his first comment was a snarky remark asking if I was the one who "ordered last minute." This was unnecessary and inaccurate since I had corrected the delivery date the same day I placed the order and was assured it would not be a problem. He then told me he chose the "pink shade" he thought was best to send. Peach roses are not pink roses, and I did not ask for him to make that decision for me. Rather than acknowledging the mistake, apologizing, or offering a proper resolution, he became rude and dismissive. He asked if the problem was that my mother didn't like them or if I didn't like them, completely missing the point. He then states if she doesn't like it we can go and pick the flowers up and this is after they had already been delivered, which is both impractical and disrespectful. I also explained that I had previously worked with someone else at the store who kindly sent me photos of the pink rose options they had in stock so I could confirm the exact shade before delivery. Instead of appreciating that effort, he responded by saying she "went above and beyond" and that they are not supposed to do that. Sending two quick photos when a customer is ordering from out of state is not extraordinary customer service, it is basic professionalism. If a florist cannot provide the exact color or arrangement being advertised, the professional thing to do is call the customer and allow them to decide how they would like to proceed. You do not make substitutions income without approval especially when I spoke to someone at their store regarding the pink shade and then argue when the customer questions it. What is the point of showing customers pictures of specific arrangements on your website if you are just going to send whatever you want? If you cannot provide what is being advertised, you should communicate that first instead of deciding for the customer. This entire experience was disappointing, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I paid for pink roses and received peach-colored roses that looked nothing like what I ordered. The owner's rude attitude and refusal to acknowledge the mistake made the situation even worse. I would not recommend this florist based on both the product quality and the unacceptable customer service.
