He lied to us about filing for an extension and took forms from my mother that he never returned. Ultimately he stopped replying entirely and we had to look for a new accountant, several months after the filing deadline. I just got a notice that I owe several thousand dollars in late filing fees because it turns out he also lied about getting an extension.
