My husband and I had the best time at the Jackson Hole winery during our 2021 mini moon. Jake could not have been more easy to talk to! He was knowledgeable about the wine and the area. The wine sells itself. Every glass we had was excellent. We shipped a very large box back home to NY and even joined their wine club. The only thing we could say is that if they want to potentially take the tasting to the next level, a little cheese would have been great. We will definitely be returning to JH winery on our next trip. read more

My friends and I stopped in to Jackson Hole Winery for some tastings before a concert downtown. The tasting room is tiny (maybe four seats), but we were the only ones there. This location only does tastings in the winter months - during the summer months you can visit the winery itself. We paid $15 per person for 6 samples and got to try some really tasty wines! The chardonnay we tried was super buttery and really unlike any chardonnay I'd ever had, and I love a good chardonnay. It was definitely my favorite of all of them, and I ended up getting a glass of it after the tasting. The reds we tried were all full-bodied and well-balanced. It was interesting to hear the winemaker's story and how the conditions at the winery are perfect for making wine (but not growing grapes; the grapes are all grown in California). I really enjoyed coming to this little tasting room and learning more about the winemaking process! Definitely stop in if you're a wine lover. read more

Great experience! The winery is located just outside of town, in a more remote area - views are incredible. Our host was very knowledgeable of the wine we were sampling as well as the wine makers process and overall great person to chat with! Enjoyed all the wines, healthy pours too. Jackson Hole Winery and Christine King (the gal manning the tasting room) were just amazing! Let me start with the wines... we are from California and I would put these wines up against any Napa Valley / Sonoma / Russian River wines ANY day! Not expecting this kind of top quality wines in Wyoming!?! Guess again! They were ALL fantastic! A couple of my favorites were their Viognier (tasted like apricots and peaches to me), their Rose wine and their wine called "Catch & Release". Chrisine, who was running the tastings, was just fantastic! She was kind, funny, and very informative with her knowledge of the wines. We were blessed with a torrential downpour (which we never get in CA), so we sat under the tent, ordered a bottle of Viognier, enjoyed the beautiful views, and had a great time with the other guests! Delicious wine reminiscent of CA, with a very knowledgeable winemaker who gave us a tour and explained their history. Walked away with a few bottles that I already can't wait to drink. This has been my favorite wine tasting experience. EVER. Just be sure to set up an appointment and check the hours. However, they were super accommodating for the fact that we showed up after they closed and still let us do a tasting. The owners live on the property and are so sweet. Heather was our wine expert and was literally the nicest, experienced, passionate person and made our experience absolutely sensational. We got to sit in a 100 year old dairy barn converted into tasting room (in its 100th year!) and tasted six amazing wines. We bought three on the spot and waived our tasting fee of $15 each! Their property is stunning and we caught a photo of us with wine and the creek and a rainbow! So all in all, absolute heaven getting to experience this authentic beautiful winery and learn everything there is to know about their wines from such a down to earth, honest, kind hearted woman.
