Garage doors that open in the summer months

Highpoint cider is such a welcomed addition to the Teton Valley! Andrew and Alex are the sweetest owners and excel on all of the personal touches to make a business memorable (such as distributing free pretzels to pair with ciders!!). The ambiance of their tasting room is on point with vintage rugs, garage window doors, and the perfect assembly of small tables, long tables, and high top bar space to suit all needs. They also have something on tap for everyone with their semi-dry to zero sugar offerings. Do yourself a favor and try them all in a flight (which is a bargain if I do say so myself at just $10), and take a 4-pack of tall boys to go - you won't regret it. We will be back!

Super cool people making super cool cider. Great place to unwind Apres Ski.

Awesome cider and laid back tasting room. Lots of cider options plus beer and wine too. Friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the cider and the area. An overall fun stop in Victor that's definitely worth a visit to taste some ciders and/or take some to go!

And whoever came up with this idea that they are supposed to be served with cocktail sauce is a genius.. It up'd the game for steak fingers tenfold. Our server, Braxton, was attentive and prompt with every request we had. I don't usually order three kinds of fried food, but I would make my way back to this establishment to do so again. The steak fingers, the fries, and the beer batter mushrooms were excellent. My beer of choice would be the cream ale. . So much so that we took home two growler's. What a great way to spend an evening on the last night of our road trip back home to Vegas. The flavors of the pears with the candied walnuts along with the dressing all blended nicely. Service was slow. The place wasn't full and one wouldn't expect a salad would take a long time to prepare. The host (who I believe is the owner) saw me sitting a while without food and asked if I ordered. He got me taken care of right after that. I would have given this place 5 stars except for this incident as well as their desserts aren't made in house and that disappointed me.

We ordered the pastrami Reuben with fries and ended up splitting it between the two of us. It was absolutely delicious and VERY hearty. The portions here are definitely generous, and one meal was plenty for two people for us. One thing that really stood out was how creative the food seems to be. This doesn't feel like a restaurant simply following the standard pub menu. Several of the dishes sounded like things they've experimented with, developed, and really made their own. There seems to be a lot of creativity and personality behind the menu. The sauce served with our Reuben was especially good. It reminded me of a cross between Thousand Island and a Big Mac-style sauce, but with its own flavor. Whatever it was, it was top-notch and went perfectly with the sandwich. The atmosphere is definitely that of a true bar/pub. We aren't drinkers, and alcohol is obviously a major focus here, from the decor to the overall feel of the restaurant. If you're not a drinker, you may feel a little out of place in the main bar area, so that is something to know going in. That being said, they do have a separate side dining room away from the main bar area, as well as a patio that looked like it would be a wonderful place to sit, eat, and enjoy the beautiful Wyoming scenery. The building itself is definitely older and a little worn down. It appeared clean on the surface, but you can tell the restaurant has seen a lot of use over the years and could probably benefit from some updating and a little extra attention in certain areas. At the same time, the rustic, well-used feel does fit the personality of a longtime local pub. Our one meal came to $25.68, so it is certainly on the pricier side for a sandwich and fries. However, this is Jackson Hole, and higher prices are somewhat expected in a tourist town. Considering how large the portions were, the price was a little easier to justify. Overall, The Bird is a fun, quirky, very casual place with huge portions and some surprisingly creative food. The pastrami Reuben was delicious, the sauce was fantastic, and I would definitely order it again.
