I submitted a claim through my home warranty last week. We had scheduled the appointment for the following Tuesday morning. I then receive a call stating that they have to reschedule for Wednesday. Wednesday morning comes and I get the 1st call at 7am, 2nd call at 730 am and text at 8am. Very unprofessional to call anyone before 8am. He then advised me that if I don't pay the $75 call fee before the appointment that he was not going to go out. I advised him that many a times I've submitted claims and pay the trade call fee after the fact. He then advised me that he would not be going out. So after waiting an entire week I'm at square one. Did not keep original appointment , canceled the day of. I'll make sure to advise my warranty company that I don't want to work with them ever. read more

When I spoke to my home warranty about it, they were able to finally get them 'live' and provided an agreed day/time for service. Then, without notifying us, waiting for our scheduled service, they NEVER showed up and apparently dropped our service request and did NOT bother to inform us. I would categorize it as 'cowardly' to start. Cleary, they do NOT have any 'customer service' skills and don't have any idea how to conduct normal business. I have attempted to work with Jackson plumbing twice through my home warranty company. I have had a lot of trouble trying to contact them on the phone. They basically never answer the phone. They may give you one call back, but if you miss that one call you're screwed. On my last attempt to work with them, Mr. Jackson showed up, looked at my broken water valve in the garage and wrote "1" valve brok in garage" on the invoice that we both signed. The warranty company calls me the next day to inform me of declined coverage because the valve is outside in the front yard. They said there was no mention of the valve being in the attached garage from Jackson Plumbing. Someone is lying here. Either the warranty company is lying in order to decline coverage or Jackson Plumbing is lying. They told me it was listed as being in the front yard, not in the garage, which leads me to think Jackson Plumbing purposefully lied in order to require me to pay out of pocket. Mr. Jackson himself seems like a kind and professional person when he was actually here....but that's where it ends. It is very unfortunate his office doesn't respond to calls, texts, or emails. Even the warranty company wasn't able to get ahold of him. I'm not sure why it is difficult for people to be honest and have good customer relations. read more

I was referred to Jackson Plumbing through my Home Warranty service. The HW contacted Jackson Plumbing about an emergency pipe burst leak, and made a case number and i was told they would contact me ASAP. I called and left messages over the course of 24 hours, and had to pay an outside plumber to come and evaluate the damage/repair. It has been 2.5 weeks since that initial interaction and Jackson Plumbing finally contacted me TODAY about coming out within the next week to look at the issue. Which has been repaired by a different company over a week ago. Absolutely unprofessional, unresponsive, and not even worth the time I spent trying to get in contact with them. I had a Jackson and Heating plumbing tech come over to quote a price for putting in an outside water spigot, Theirs was an existing cold water pipe 4 feet from where I wanted the spicket. He quoted me $550. When I asked why so much he told me the spigot alone was $275 and the freeze free model was $475. After picking up my teeth, I asked if the spigot were made of gold. He just said that is the standard price. I looked at Amazon and found a freeze free spigot for $41. I happen to have a guy remodeling my bathroom over the same day and he said he would do it for $150 and had no idea where they came up with their spigot prices. I also had Jackson put in a new heating and air unit in 2018. At the time they said the price included service visits twice a year for two years. Have not seen them once and God only know how much more I paid for the unit then if I shopped it around. I called to complain about the spigot pricing and the manager went off on me stating they received the customer excellence award and said that was the standard price for installing spigots. She kept going on about all their success until I cut her off and said the spigot price was highway robbery and hung up. Moral of story..........SHOP AROUND!! read more

I have old republic home owners insurance and I was having problems with my water heater. They had sent me some other company and it went to bad. So when they changed my plumber to Jackson Plumbing I was a bit nervous from the bad experience I had with the previous plumber. But I was so surprised of the customer service from the call I got to him coming to my house. The previous plumber just wanted to get more money out of the situation and say my whole water heater needed to be replaced and that wasn't the case. Jackson Plumbing came in and replaced the sensor thing on my water heater right there and then and BAMMMMM!!!!! Hot water. I was without hot water for almost 2 months per the previous plumber. My insurance AHS American Home Shield choose this company to fix my garbage disposal and 2 faucets. The plumber which I didn't know then that he was the owner was kind of irritated that I didn't give him the gate code to our community. I gave him the instructions on how to get in without giving him the gate code and explained to him that it is against the community policy to give the gate code to a non resident. The moment he entered my house, I sensed rudeness in him. He went to the kitchen and fixed the garbage disposal for less then 10-15 mins., turned his back and was ready to leave. I told him you haven't fixed the 2 faucets yet. He pretended to look at the his work paper, open and closed the faucet then left without giving me explanation as to what's wrong with the faucet or whether he'll be back or not. 30 mins. passed and he had not come back. I looked outside my house and his car was gone. I thought he will just go out to get materials in his truck or at home depot. I then called Jackson Plumbing 2x and asked if the plumber will be back because he just left without saying a word. He said he was the plumber and the owner of his company and will not come back to my house because I was rude by videoing him and he told American Home Shield about it. He accused me for being rude to him by videoing him? That was completely a lie! I was on messenger with my sister even before he arrived and continued chatting with my sister while he was doing his job. I explained that I was talking to my sister in Canada and not videoing him. He said he felt threatened by me. Wow! Threatened by a petite 4,10" tall, 110 lbs. lady and he was like 250 lbs . guy? He was indeed threatened because I was alone in my house at that time and my family was on the phone to monitor me while the plumber was there. How is my safety related to his job description to finish his job? What an easy money to rip off poor customers who are struggling to pay their bills. I called my insurance to give me another plumbing company and I have to pay another $75.00 for the job that he left behind on top of the $75.00 that he charged me for the garbage disposal just because he came to my house. Overall, I would rate this company poorly, very unprofessional and rude. If he said that he felt threatened by me, It's the other way around. I felt uneasy and threatened by his presence. I had so many technicians come to my house before and even took pictures of them but I never felt uneasy with any of them but this guy. read more

Do NOT utilize their service at all!!!!!!! This man is absolutely RUDE and disrespectful!!!!!!!!!! We contacted our warranty company and they chose this company to come out to our home. The man is an African American male. He came out and did a horrible job on our garbage disposal. He claimed it was fixed and it was not! We called him back like he said to abs he never answered. We called the warranty company again to report him and they did a recall to get him to come back out which he did NOT respond during the 24hr window he was supposed too! When he finally came back out today he has a NASTY attitude!!! He banged on the door. When I opened the door I asked him to put on a mask and cover his shoes. AHS - American Home Shield customer and they assigned this company. Instructions said if not contacted within 24 hours of service request to call. I was working and waited for them to call and Company called at 7:45pm on a Tuesday night and went to voicemail and when I listened to it later when I saw that there was a voicemail it was for a service the next day and that it would not be done without a confirmation call. Had to work and called on the following day in the morning and no answer and left message on machine. Called again later that day and no answer. The company called again a week later on a Monday at 8:05 pm this time, for again, a service on Wednesday afternoon and to call back to confirm, I had to go in early to work, and was actually already asleep but woke up and checked voicemail at 8:34pm and called them at 8:35pm and went to voicemail. If they are calling this late, they should be available, right? I guess not. I even texted them to see if that would help the next day and no response. I called my home insurance to complain and asked to have a different company assigned and was told that they had to ask the original company release my request and that it would take about 4 hours. But when I checked the next day, today, I noticed that my original service request was gone and called AHS and was told that I could ask for a refund from the company, since they pocketed the funds, and that I could place a new request but had to pay again. So I told them I needed a refund for work not done and that the company was uncommunicative and unavailable and that I needed them removed from my available vendors so that when I get my refund and place a new request in they are NOT selected again. The AHS company should not have this company as their service provider and would not recommend to anyone that I know. read more

I went to a plumbing store and there was dully pick up truck parked as I being wide due to being a dully the truck was taking a full parking slot a little bit of the one next to him. So that made Park on my spot and a little bit on the one next to me, I don't think that was a problem since the parking was 90% empty. But this Jackson " GENTLEMAN" he just went off on me calling me names with obscene language calling me everything bad in the world even after I explained to him why I had done what I did, he did not care and completely lost his temper. I told him that I'll moved spots so he can do whatever he wanted but still kept on going very angry. I have been using Jackson plumbing for all my plumbing services since (and believe me, I interviewed a lot of plumbers!) I own an older home and wanted one, fair, reliable plumber who would know the history of the house and Jackson plumbing is it. The owner is more than fair in pricing and tells me how and why issues occur with the plumbing/water of the house. He will respond immediately and is courteous, even to my animals. Don't make the mistake of hiring this guy. He said he would be at my house at 8:30 am, didn't show until 1:00 pm. Mr. Jackson arrived with a helper, put him to work, and left for 4 hours. By the time he came back it was dark and they had to put up lights and work as fast as they could to finish. He put drains in my yard to stop my house from flooding, again. After the first rain the drains were caving in and the ground around them had huge holes that allowed more water to flood my home. He didn't grade the dirt that he dug up, just leaving it in big piles. The job was a total disaster. At this time he hasn't returned my calls and we are preparing to take him to court. He suggested same day service, but I couldn't make it. We agreed on 12/2/16 (two weeks out, due to the holidays). The day of, I called and left a voicemail. No response. An hour later, I called again, no response. The 3rd call came from my warranty rep, to cancel. I'm sure he's a great plumber, but his communication skills are terrible. On Friday morning I was called by Jackson and was given a time of 11:00 am that day. The gentleman arrived at 10:55, was extremely professional and very personable. My hot water heater was leaking, so I contacted my home warranty company, American Home Shield, and after one plumber didn't show up for their appointment and they didn't have any other openings for a few days, and it was Friday, I again contacted AHS to request a plumber that would come and get it repaired on Saturday. I was given the name and number of Jackson Plumbing, and called them right away. It was about 450pm on Friday, I got the plumber's cell phone voice mail and left a message. Never heard back from him. Then contacted my housesitter and told her to try calling him again the following morning, since I would be traveling at that point. She called at 715 and 9am on Saturday and got the voice mail both times, left messages both times. Never heard back from him. I tried calling him myself at my connecting airport at about 10am, got the voice mail again and certainly never heard back from him. Finally at about 1pm I gave up and decided to pay for the repair myself, and I hired an independent plumber who came right out and replaced the hot water heater. read more

I believe the guy who came to give the estimate was the owner from what I understand. first he showed up late for the inspection at 9:40 a.m the appointment was for 9:00 a.m today I texted him very early and asked if he was going to be on time to start the installation at 9:00 a.m as scheduled he texted back and said he and his workers would be here 10:30 came around and no show or call from this guy at 10:40 two guys showed up that are not his regular employees. these guys worked hard from start to finish at around 6:30 p.m this guy showed up to collect payment basically didn't do any work himself. I had asked him if was going to install and hook up the recirculation pump before doing the job. he said yes. the pump was installed but the electrical part of it wasn't after questioning him and letting him know that there was less water pressure than before he got an attitude and slammed the doors on his van and started yelling what a f...... chicken shit at this point I said let me pay you I was just trying to get this ass.... off my property since I have small children at my house and didn't want them hearing this idiots foul language. I don't know how this guy can be in business treating customers like he does would I recommend this guy hell no by the way he had no problem collecting $1,100 from me after acting the way he did read more
