The price was a bit more than other quotes we received, but the quality and professionalism or JNR was outstanding and totally worth it. All the other turf installers gave us a wait time of 6 months! JNR said it would take about 4 weeks for installation, which was acceptable. Two weeks went by and we got a call from JNR asking if we would like to have the turf installed in 2 days! Needless to say we were very happy. When the crew came to our house, they were professional, friendly and courteous. The guys answered all of my questions and I could tell they knew what they were doing. It was a pleasure to have them at our house. We were suckered in to a total remodel, when all we initially wanted was counter tops…read more We met Sarah at the Almond festival and she came out to our home to take measurements followed by a consult. She's a very good sales rep. She had a total remodel image on the screen as well as full estimate, despite only wanting to do countertop. Well, we agreed (even though price was nearly double compared to other contractors). We trusted her and the fact she said they were in business 44 years and didn't use subcontractors (first lie). We picked out the countertops first. She showed us about 3 tiles of samples and suggested one. I commented I was wanting grey and white. This was cream and beige. She proceeded to tell us she'd seen the large slab of quartz and it was full of grey, it just didn't show up on that sample. So we took her at her word. Next we picked out cabinets. Instead of the same layout, she had the image up moving the dishwasher and stove. Suggested they'd be more accessible if we moved them. I wasn't a fan but my husband bought into it. Then we noticed due to the appliances being rearranged, I was losing drawer space, and given tiny cabinets. I prefer drawers, but again, she said we wouldn't be losing anything. Second lie. Then we selected the backsplash. Construction/Demo the first week went great. Wonderful communication with the workers who were very nice and cleaned everything. Week 2, not so great. Due to the fact we have several dogs, I had to stay upstairs with the dogs while they worked and all communication was through a group chat. They brought in the first subcontractor who had zero communication. I did not know when he left for lunch or even for the day, forcing myself and the dogs to remain locked upstairs in the heated room. Also noticed drywall splatter all over my hallway walls. It was then we were notified that the 3 week job was going to take even longer! I was extremely angry because the communication was also so bad. I was told the painter was coming but we'd never even selected paint! Sarah chose a color based on my recommendation. When the painter had left, it was for the first time I actually saw any blueprints. I noticed the counters were squared. Knowing my health issues and fall risk, I do not have any squared or sharp edges in my home. We contacted Lenton to bring this up, assuming they'd be a curved edge. Sarah's reply was, "That's what you chose." I did not know that square sample piece was what the counters would look like. The owner, Rob Lenton stepped in and met with my husband. They hadn't prepared the countertop yet, so he said it could be rounded. By the middle of week 3, no countertops in, we were notified by group chat that the backsplash we selected would not be ready for 2 more months! So she sent screenshots of options. We hated ALL of them. So they dropped more samples by. First, we had no countertops to compare them with, only a piece of wood on top of the counters, and the night grey paint on the walls. So we were choosing blind as to backsplash. Again, hated all of them! So we selected one we hated least. Now, the counters were installed and after my first time seeing them, HATED them. There was zero grey in the pattern. It was all cream, beige and brown. Doesn't match appliances or cabinets. And now the backsplash (picked out to go with grey) was installed (on Memorial Day) and doesn't match the counter tops! This entire demo remodel has been a nightmare! No one at Lenton takes any responsibility, and Sarah and Lizsela BOTH utter the same crap, "it's what you selected". I'm beyond furious. Mr. Lenton only commented after finding out the countertops were wrong and the extended delay, and said, "we hope you'll like the look when it's completed." Well, I don't! It looks ridiculous and we spent every dime to do this, which infuriates me more. Now, it it ever gets completed, and I have water and appliances in my kitchen, at my expense, I will need to hire another company, putting me in debt, to fix this insanity! The only positive thing I can say is, the workers have been wonderful, polite and very nice. But that's not worth the inconvenience and money we've paid to get this project done. It's now going into week 4 and my appliances and plumbing still not done. Don't be fooled by empty promises and bait and switch! I'm starting to think they use discontinued or old stock in the renovations as the selection have been poor, and your stuck with what they give you, whether it looks good or not. Our mistake was not seeing the actual blue prints prior to construction. All we saw was an AI photo Sarah showed us at consultation. Be very careful if you trust them. It's going to cost us a lot for our poor choice.

If I could give them a NEGATIVE 5 stars I would!! I don't know which if the two is worse, but then again they are brothers. I am so disgusted I don't even know where to start. The constant lies to our face, promises that they failed to keep, left us high and dry even though we demonstrated patience beyond comprehension. The constant begging for money because otherwise they "would have no way of purchasing material to continue with our projects." The dirty pig mess that they constantly left when eating lunch or each and every time we provided them with food and drinks, they would leave cans, bottles, fast food trash, bones l, cigarette butts and trash all over the front and backyard despite our messages asking them to use the trash cans. Not to mention piles of hardened cement bags left on our driveway that they refused to remove and blocked our driveway for over 1 year. Our shotcrete pool filled with mildew swamp water, mosquitoes and tadpoles that ALDO told us we were responsible for purchasing a pump to remove the water that accumulated for over 1 year!!! Constant sob stories that they have no money and blamed COVID. Yet had they stuck to the timeline the COVID prices would have never been an issue. Instead they trick you by completing the dig and rebar quickly then leave you to a bunch of excuses like their truck breaking down, being sick, family members passing away, being deported, getting wounded at other jobs ...are just a few that come to mind as I type this. They made decisions without consulting us and we had to repurchase material due to their error and lack of consulting with us. NOT to mention the waste of a backyard filled with concrete, which was ruined with the MOST crooked lines, the most crooked stamp job that even a child would notice, misplaced drains that sit above or next to the grades so the the drain can't even do it's job, AND not enough drainage. Our front lawn ruined, so now we have to pay to replace because to this day we have piles of cement gravel that they just leave lying around not allowing for the sprinklers to be turned on because the cement piles are sitting on top of the sprinkler heads. We are going on 2 years and our pool project is not even close to being done!! After begging for another payment they leave us high and dry after nearly two years (two years April 2023). Out contract includes a shower and exterior restroom which were never started, they never dug out the drain to the street, so it ends next to my residence which could cause structural damage, contract includes salt water pool, they never told us they did not purchase salt water system and to this day have a chlorine system. Our fire wall does not have keys installed or the grates to place fire rocks, our fire pit does not have grates to hold fire rocks either, so they both sit empty with piping exposed and cannot even be used for their intended purpose. They installed a side gate incorrectly and had to redo it. The drilled so many holes it's riddled from having to redo it. That same side gate falls off whenever we open it, so we constantly have to put it back up, no auto fill installed to this day so we have to use our hose to constantly fill it, the filler between coping and cement is still sitting there to this day with the styrofoam mesh stuff, our spill waterfalls are cement and to this day have not been replaced with flagstone that we purchased. They even asked us to buy the blade to cut the flagstone and they still have not cut it and placed it, the slab is still in our yard. Not to mention the extremely poor workmanship on the stack stone surrounding our pool and jacuzzi, poorly placed stone that sits in top of our fire wall and fire pit, which I forced them to redo. The cement that is oozing from the bottom of those stones that I can see from the underside while in my pool. The salt water pool tiles for our CHLORINE pool were installed CROOKED and uneven! The grout in our jacuzzi is half gray and half black which ALDO said just needed some acid to make it match. We bought the product to supposedly fix it but ALDO didn't even take the time to fix it.

Zachary came out to assess it the day we called him and had an estimate for us that same day. He was very honest and thorough by stating what our options were and what the pros and cons were. When it carne time to do the work his crew was amazing. They did everything he said they would do, and they were very friendly and knowledgeable, too. They cleared the water damaged and replaced the drywall so well it doesn't even look like we ever had an incident. The rate was very reasonable, too. We did have to make a deposit first, and then pay final payment when the work was complete which I expected and is fair. Overall we are VERY pleased and will use him and his services again. He's now part of our list of household contractors.
