We came in approximately 40 minutes before the closing time, to my surprise, The food was still very fresh and didn't take long to be serviced. The service was great. Abby served us with a smile with her new braces. The food was amazing. I will come here over and over again.

Didn't know there was a Jackson Soul Food restaurant on the north end of Miami. I Yelp soul food breakfast and Jackson came up, so off I went to buy my mom and her husband breakfast. I ordered at tge counter to go; salmon and grits for her and sausage, eggs and grits for him. Took about 20 mins. Rushed it home to my mom who's about 10 mins away. First bite of the salmon, lawd....have mercy! Mom damn near spit the salmon across her dining room table! Salmon is absolutely terrible! I tasted it and yeah... I strongly validate my mom's sentiments. Everything else was pretty tasty! Saturday 8.27.22 9am

We were here on Easter Sunday & I gotta say the food was amazing we both enjoyed it very much, the staff was very helpful & attentive, We also got to see other families dressed up for Easter spending quality time together, we had a great experience here at Jacksons soul food restaurant.

I love Jackson soul food! They cook like your mom/grandmothers on Sunday mornings before church lol but it's an authentic African-American breakfast spot. If you want a real taste of miami then either Jackson's(overtown/opa-Locka locations) should be an essential part of your plan. The service is always welcoming like an older aunt. Sometimes there's a little bit of a wait but it's definitely worth it. I would recommend Jackson's to anyone visiting the inner city of miami and doesn't want to only stay on the beach.

Ordered here on yesterday, Friday June 25th. This isn't my first time eating at Jackson, but first time at this location. I requested that my fish be fried hard and it was. The seasoning was great on the fish. I didn't like the grits at all. My husband had sausage, eggs and grits. He didn't eat much of his grits, but he liked the eggs and sausage. We maybe back at this location.

I have been trying to get into this spot for a few months. I always seem to try and get in when the parking lot is packed. A packed parking lot is a great sign. Food has got to be good. I went early today and secured my spot and my plate! No disappointment to be found. Small diner type vibe. Folks coming and going for to-go orders. I loved the obvious regulars chit-chatting with the staff. Hilarious! Ordered the salmon croquettes, grits, scrambled egg whites with toast and a side of onions & peppers and a coffee. Delicious! I did not need to season anything. Usually, grits need a lil something. Not these. Croquettes were meaty and full of peppers. So very good. I was entirely pleased with my meal and will be up early again to secure my spot.

In the mood for soul food. I let Google guide me. This was a food adventure for us. I recommend to do research before doing this because of the location. The neighborhood is not so good The food tasted good. The customer service was decent but very funny and entertaining. The food came out before the drinks. We finished our meal and they brought the toast and biscuits with the check lol. The biscuits where really good. The waitress was really funny. I ordered the creamy shrimp and grits. It was good. The sauce was incredible delicious. Wow it was good. It had caramelize onions and peppers. The shrimp was a good size and they tasted good. I would order this again. My friend had the catfish. I tasted it. It was good. It was cooked well, not dry. It was a good portion size. They know how to cook good catfish here. The place has plenty of parking spaces. It is a building easy to spot. It is casual and friendly.

Disappointed. I read reviews and was excited to eat here, but was disappointed from the start. The place is very cute and clean and small. It was a Sunday and very busy. It took approximately 10 minutes for a server to come to table and about 30 minutes total for the food and coffee to arrive. Was expecting food to be so delicious, but I found it to be very very bland . I had to add salt, pepper and butter to the entire plate.

The food was pretty good. It's a nice mom and pop type restaurant. The staff gives the feeling of family, service was fast and friendly.

Great music and friendly staff. What we ordered- Croquetas 10/10 - Soft creamy inside and lightly crispy on the outside. Drizzled with a aioli style sauce. (In my opinion)the croquetas were so good they didn't need any sauce. Churassco w/ white rice, black beans and plantains 10/10 ohh this is everything a churassco should be. Juicy, tender and cooked full of so much flavor. The rice was perfect not sticky just perfectly fluffy and not oily and the beans are exactly what I always hope to be served at any Cuban restaurant. Absolutely delicious and full of so much flavor. I mean if they told me Abuela had made them I would totally believe it. Chefs kiss The hubs ordered the Picanha with morro rice and plantains 10/10 No crumbs or grains of rice was left on his plate! Absolutely delicious Needless to say this place is an absolute must! Definitely will be back

However,…read morewith slow service and nickel and diming (18 percent automatic tip) and smallish portions I don't think I'll be back. Having had a quick workday lunch and walked around the mall, I had worked up an appetite. I was seated in a corner table for two and my order was taken. The restaurant did not seem that crowded even for a Friday night but it felt like a long wait. Unlike many Cuban places, they don't offer complimentary bread. I ordered their "platanos a tentacion" (bacon wrapped sweet plantains), grilled chicken and moros. The rice was a little hard and the chicken breast on the small side and barely seasoned other than the onions garnishing it. Service didn't feel very attentive for me as a solo diner. Between finishing my dinner and waiting to order either dessert or cafecito, I also sat and waited until a waitress finally came by. At that point, I just got the coffee and my check. I don't believe I was offered a printed receipt, just the card terminal. I asked if the tip was included and pretty much in time when I was putting the usual tip (trying to be generous with 20 percent) I was told that it was a service charge, and that the tip was extra, but had full amounts starting with 18%. So basically I paid 30% tip for a small portion of food and inattentive service. Looking back, I see that this restaurant had a different name and I had enjoyed dinner at their other location six years back. It's disappointing to see how it has fallen off. As it were, a lot of the original creative items on the menu are no longer being offered.

His level of customer service immediately stood out, he genuinely takes the time to guide first-time customers and make them feel comfortable. Frank suggested what he considers the four must-try sandwiches for a first visit: the Italian, Tuna, Corned Beef & Pastrami, and the Philly Cheesesteak. I followed his recommendation and tried the tuna sandwich, which was outstanding, fresh, perfectly balanced, and generously prepared. I also took a Tuna sandwich to go for my wife after trying it and ordered the Italian to try later, which I'm already looking forward to. What impressed me most was not just the quality of the food but the overall experience. Frank's knowledge of his menu, his willingness to help customers decide, and his genuine pride in the deli create an atmosphere that keeps people coming back. If you love great sandwiches, top-notch service, and an owner who truly cares about the customer experience, I highly recommend Franky's Deli Warehouse to anyone. It's the kind of place that quickly becomes a favorite.
