This restaurant serves absolutely delicious food, hands down, and is worth every minute of the wait. You can tell the employees are a bit flustered by the craze and volume of customers, but they are extremely friendly and helpful. The Peach Heat-flavored chicken wings were excellent, as were the shrimp rice and mac and cheese. The only negative is that the restaurant isn't very spacious. They absolutely deserve a bigger dining space. All in all, I would definitely stop by again while in Miami.

Lemonade/tea mix - super sweet but good.

I showed up hungry and left completely satisfied with leftovers. The turkey wings were fall off the bone tender with rich, flavorful gravy. The fried chicken wings had that perfect golden crunch with juicy and well-seasoned. The yams were perfectly sweet, buttery, and basically dessert on a plate, while the collard greens were smoky, savory, and slow-cooked just right. The shrimp rice was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked, and that very sweet blue lemonade/kool-aid gave pure nostalgic cookout vibes. The cornbread? Moist, slightly sweet, and perfect for soaking up every last bite. Definitely the kind of meal I'd come back for, no question.

Sunday Eatery is such a vibe. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care comfort food done right. Everything came out hot and well-portioned, and the flavors were on point. The service was really good friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere feels relaxed and cozy, perfect for a laid-back meal.

Wanted some soul food while visiting Miami and decided on Sundays Eatery. Read the reviews on Yelp first which were good. Took the drive over.. Small dining area with about 4-5 tables. Already planed to eat in the car anyway. It was packed with lots of folks waiting on to go orders, a good sign. Took about 35 minutes for the order to be ready. Two meals ordered and our ratings of each out of 5 stars: Grilled catfish 3/5 Yellow rice 3/5 Mac and cheese 2/5 Cornbread 2/5 Fried catfish 3/5 Fries 2/5 Cornbread 2/5 Banana pudding 1/5 Candied Yams 2/5 Candied yams were also included with our to go order but weren't ordered and I wasn't charged for them. Everything was cooked fresh and hot. Mac and cheese was ok but very dry. Banana pudding didn't have any bananas in it, was mostly just pudding. Candies yams were very chunky, not cooked long , not soft enough, and didn't seem to have enough vanilla extract. Cornbread top layer was sweet sort of honey or cinnamon tasting. Grilled catfish had lots of sauteed onions which I liked pieces were thick. The yellow rice was decent. Fried catfish was seasoned very well. Portions are large, you definitely get your money's worth. Give them a try.

Service was friendly. The food took a minute to prepare, but it was worth it. I don't eat pork, but the way those chops looked and smelled; I almost broke! The Turkey wings were a tad dry but still had great flavor. The cornbread, pease&rice, yellow rice and greens were all amazing! The interior appeared clean, and compact with a couple tables to dine in if you'd like. I got my order to go. Didn't use or see a restroom, but I'm sure they have one. The parking lot has plenty of space, due to it being in a strip mall. They're the real deal in that kitchen! I say check em out:)

I've never had fried ribs so I decided to check this spot out as I've heard so much about it. Walking up, the outside leaves much to be desired. The staff inside were pleasant. I ordered ribs, greens and yams. I started to get banana pudding like a real big back, however the staff informed me it had no real bananas inside. I would've been p o'd so was happy they shared that information. There is minimal seating inside to done in so I'd recommend you take your food to go as I did. The wait was about 25 minutes so I chatted with other patrons who were waiting for food. The ribs were good and I actually liked the orange bbq sauce that they provide with them. I would've preferred red bbq sauce though. The greens were scrumptious and the yams were bussin! I greatly enjoyed my meal. I don't think I'd come back for anything though as my arteries don't need fried foods on a regular basis.

Saw Sunday's Eatery on one of my favorite YouTuber's channel and knew I had to check it out! The place itself is pretty small but there are a few seats to dine in. I ordered the fried catfish and it was absolutely delicious! Highly highly recommend getting this. The collards were also really good too! I'm deducting one star because my iced tea was overly sweet and the cashier charged me for a large when I got a regular size. Shoutout to Trick Daddy for serving up some amazing food! 10/10 for sure

When I say RUN don't walk to Sundays eatery, I mean it with my whole heart!!! This was definitely the best soul food I've tried in Miami by a landslide! Don't let the long wait discourage you, people are waiting for a reason!!! I was fairly surprised by the quality of the food but Trick definitely has some aunties back there cooking! The portions were perfect, everything seasoned, and all the food was HOT! Will definitely be making my way back.

I am at the Miami Gardens location for Sunday's eatery and Deja was our host. She was truly amazing. What a beautiful black queen she was very complimented to me and my friend. She made sure that we knew all the prices in the menu and what was there. she was pleasant to every single customer that walked through the door regardless of how their attitudes were and I truly appreciate her she made this experience an amazing one keep women like her in business. Thank you Trick Daddy. Deja is thee best !!!!

Sunday's Eatery is a staple for natives and a must visit for tourists, owned and operated by 305's very own Trick Daddy. When coming in for a quick visit, I knew that stopping by was a must. I didn't know what to expect but I wasn't let down. The food was reasonably priced with plates being under $18. Rice comes with all meals but you can upgrade it with shrimp for an additional $3 and choose one additional side. I was skeptical about the rice because I didn't know what to expect but it was full of flavor, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. The interior is very clean but small so think twice if you're looking to dine in. We went on a Sunday afternoon about 2 hours before closing and it was busy. Definitely add this to your plans if you're in Miami!

Sunday's Eatery is a fast casual soul food restaurant in Miami Gardens. They opened in 2019 but quickly outgrew their initial location, finding a permanent home here in Miami Gardens Plaza. The restaurant is a partnership between Latosia Colvin and Miami rapper Trick Daddy who share a passion for southern style cooking. The restaurants name was inspired by Colvin's grandmother's Sunday gatherings. The menu at Sunday's Eatery offers an inventive twist on soul food with southern dishes like catfish, chicken wings, baked chicken, pork chops, snapper, shrimp, fried ribs, rice, collard greens, candied yams, macaroni and cheese, and cornbread. The signature drink is Sunday's Blue Lemonade Iced Tea Paradise. I had tried to come here before but the line was down the sidewalk. This time I came when they opened at 11 and there was already a crowd at the door waiting for them to open. I was order number 11 of the day and I still had to wait over 45 minutes for food. While they are preparing the food for the customers in the restaurant they are also taking a high volume of phone and online orders. If you don't want to wait a long time I would recommend ordering before you come. For my meal I ordered the fried shrimp which comes with rice, cornbread, and one side, I picked the macaroni and cheese. I also ordered the Paradise drink but they didn't have the blue velvet cake even though they just opened. When I finally got my food it was pipping hot. I took my meal over to Rolling Oaks Park for a picnic. The six fried shrimp were perfectly breaded and huge! The macaroni and cheese was exactly how I love it, cheesy baked comfort food. The light cornbread muffin was sweet with taste of cinnamon. This was an outstanding meal worth every calorie. I liked the Paradise drink, it kind of reminded me of Kool-Aid. Beware that it is very sweet. I saw several people ordering it with light ice and I'm glad I got mine with the full ice which helped to cut the sweetness as it melted. I am so glad I got to check Sunday Eatery off my list. With it's friendly vibe and delicious food, it lived up to the hype.

Super disappointed with this place…read more Pros: The potatoes and eggs were good & the hot sauce has great flavor! Cons: First thing I did was use the restroom which had a horrible smell and the toilet needed cleaning. The service was good at first then fell off after we ordered our food- which was strange because it was not busy at all. We ordered the screwdriver & peach Bellini to drink. Steak & eggs and the Untoasted breakfast + side of ham. The screwdriver had an odd taste & the ham was extremely soft/squishy/seemed uncooked internally. The steak was not cooked well- but acceptable enough to eat. Our server never checked on us after we got our food which sucks because we needed a few things. A different server ended up walking by much later and asked if we needed help which is when I told her I'd like to send back the ham and screwdriver- both of which I barely took a bite/sip out of. I just told her I didn't like them and she got a bit of an attitude and wanted specifics as to why I didn't like it. I just reiterated i didn't like it and won't be consuming either so please take it back. We finished our food and no one ever came to our table again- while the workers were walking around helping the 5 other tables or talking amongst themselves. After sitting for 15+ minutes with our finished food, I just went to the front and waited for someone to check us out. I don't recommend this place and will not be back.

The turn in is a bit awkward, but there parking lot was pretty much empty at that time (and completely full by the time we left). I do not have a large car and the spots are super narrow. If you drive a truck, I would not try to park in the inner lot in front of the entrance. The place is clearly LGBT friendly; kudos for the pride flags out front. I immediately felt like I was walking into a hipster cafe in Cali. You order and pay inside; get a table number and the bring your food and drinks out to you. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I got the secret pita and golden latte. Service was relatively quick. Drink came then food shortly after. I totally wasn't thinking when I got the golden latte. It was a bit warm outside for a hot latte but I wanted to try something unique. Hard to describe but I enjoyed it. It came with granola on the dish. Not sure if you are supposed to throw it in. The squirrels and birds ended up eating mine. Yes, there was a lot of wildlife that was not shy. The squirrel was literally eating out of my hand and would have sat on our table if my friend allowed it. The bird flew in and did just that though. Came back for seconds a few times. Then as the place got busier, they must have gone off to bother others. As an animal lover, this was a fun perk but may be a turn off to some. The presentation for the pita was unexpected. I had to open a the box to get to my meal. You can choose how the egg is cooked. I went with the default sunny side up. The chorizo hit. Hummus was ok. Kind of bland. I didn't care for olives and picked the fruit off my dessert pita. Felt like I had enough pita carbs by the time I got to it. The ambiance was mostly peaceful. They do play music which was on the border of getting too loud. Coffee was pricy but all coffee is now. The food was also on the high end. This would be a major factor on whether to come back. I don't recall anything unique on the menu aside from the pita. The menu appears to change seasonally though.

For a bar-style environment, the food is consistently very good. Not just "good for a bar" ... like its actually good. The burger is a must (im pescatarian but my friend said it was delicious!) and their Eggs Benedict at brunch is easily one of my favorites in the area.
