So I'm a regular visitor to The grill, when I come in and have dinner by myself, I tend to sit at the bar and Chase, Katlin and Charlie are absolutely amazing. They always have a smile on their face and they're so attentive! eating alone can be hard sometimes, but they always have great conversation and, they definitely represent The grill in the best possible way. My mom and I also come in and we usually get a table and we always sit either with Kristi or Taylor, both young ladies always have a smile on their face and they seem to be mind readers... they always bring us what we need before we have to ask, their courteous and they're always checking on us, topping off our beverages and asking how our day or weekend is going. My mom is always complementing on how wonderful Kristi is with making sure that we are happy and the food is perfect, never had a complaint or bad meal at The grill. Please tell your staff they're doing an amazing job front of the house and back of the house. Absolutely wonderful. We will be in many more times to come. read more

The short: Fantastic customer service, great food, look forward to coming back. The details: Worked with the manager, Merc to have brunch the day after our wedding. She was fantastic, and the staff was amazing. They made room for our large party in a great area where we could be together and gave us a 'Congrats' card signed by the staff. They had at least two fantastic waitresses (I feel bad I didn't catch the names) dedicated to serving us, and they did a great job. The food came out quickly, was delicious, and to my knowledge, there were no errors. They did not rush us out after we were done, and gave my wife and I a complimentary dessert. Columbus can be known for poor customer service, but I've never experienced that here, but this visit was really good, and was the perfect way to end a weekend with family. I went to The Grille for the first time on Saturday, October 15th. I had heard good things about The Grille, but it far exceeded my expectations. From the time we walked in the front door, the service was exceptional. Colby opened the door for us, and ended up also being our waiter. He was knowledgeable about the menu, and very attentive to our needs before even asking. My date ordered the Sweet Chipotle Salmon with Caesar salad, loaded potato, and grilled vegetables. I had the Bayou Chicken with crawfish cream sauce, Gouda jalapeño grits, and a house salad. Everything on both plates was delicious. The meal was ended with cheesecake with praline sauce- one of the best cheesecakes that I've tasted! The manager, Sierra McDonald, spoke to us several times, making sure our experience at The Grille was perfect. It is obvious that she takes pride in her staff, menu, and service. We recently visited this restaurant for the 1st time the other day. I can honestly say that this was one of the best dinning experiences we've had since moving to Mississippi last July. The waiter, Rob, was great. Very helpful with suggestions and made sure our orders we out in a timely manner. I didn't like my entrée, not that it wasn't prepared correctly it just wasn't to my personal liking, but the GM, Josh, who walked around talking to each table checking on all the guest, changed out my order. Came back to the table several times to ensure everything was good. He said he didn't want us to leave unhappy. And we didn't. The head chef even comes out of the kitchen and walks around asking if everything is cooked correctly. Everyone went out of their way to make sure every table was satisfied. Check's out. Great casual spot, for Columbus, MS. Good atmosphere. Typically great service, and I would say fairly priced for the quality and quantity of food. Lately, it's been our brunch spot, but we've done plenty of lunches and dinners there as well. For Brunch it's typically the Wild Berry French Toast. Chicken Waffles aren't bad either, though I have memorable elsewhere. The Shrimp and Grits are delish. As are the Pepperjack Cheese stick apps. They used to have the best burger in town, but it's been axed for a regular smegular better than fast food nothing special burger. Prime rib sandwich is absolutely Prime. The fish tacos are a delight. If you're in Columbus for a few days, it has to be on your list. I won't say it should be top of list, but on the list, if you get my drift. Happy Dining. read more

Gastronomic delight. We are camping nearby and we try to explore the area. We got a recommendation from someone at the campground to give this place a try. It was well worth the stop. We got the white BBQ chicken nachos which were wonderful, just the right amount of toppings and sauce on fresh chips. I got the Bayou chicken which was plate liking good. Hubby got the NOLA pasta that he throughly enjoyed. We couldn't resist trying the honey roasted Brussels Sprouts with bacon. Yum! Had to finish off with dessert. I got the berry crumble with vanilla ice cream, hubby got the caramel pecan cheesecake. We made sure we asked for the manager to let her know how pleased we were with both the food and service. my partner and I decided to go for brunch for my birthday. we arrived at the restaurant to a 45 minute waitlist, so we didn't know how the birthday outing would go but decided to wait it out. from the minute we sat down, the experience was phenomenal. our server (sierra) was attentive, responsive, accommodating of my special dietary restrictions, and always came with a smile. the food arrived on time, proper temp, mods included, and tasted great! the drinks from the bar were delicious and timed perfectly with the flow of the meal. getting a birthday dessert was a special unexpected treat! there was even a manager than came by to make sure the dining experience was everything we expected. again, phenomenal. it was a wonderful birthday brunch. read more

Ordered the white bbq nachos at 7:40 arrived at 8:00 clicked the very text to let them know I had arrived, for the text to say it was being bagged checked and ready only to wait another 20 minutes to get my food after having to call to let them know I was in the Togo parking, drove 20 minutes home only to realize they left out the queso which clearly is something you need to even eat nachos. So call and let them know that they left it only, only to drive 20 minutes back to the restaurant and call and let them know I had arrived for the girl to say " I'll bring it out shortly" clearly that's something that should have been "bagged and ready" and shouldn't have had to wait a extra 8 minutes on. Spent a literal HOUR, trying to get togo nachos. read more

Never give a bad review. Even if I've had a bad experience but tonight was worse than ever. I always have love this place but it has a bad manager or servers just don't care. The food was great but my server was not to be seen. Maybe you had another large table or working else where. I understand completely but to be rude when I'm trying to pay is another problem. I always tip over the 20% even if you suck as a server. I have worked in restaurants for yrs. Done it all from kitchen to front. But when you get ugly with me because I have waited 30+ min for my check. Then I don't tip or be nice. Maybe this place needs new management and give their witnesses time to serve their table. read more

This is a great place if you want delicious food and courteous, fast service. The Grill has the atmosphere of a sports bar with multiple tv's and a variety of adult beverages. However, it is also a family friendly venue. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu choices. The manager came by to check on us which was nice. Every employee was polite and helpful. We ordered a variety of dishes and each was delicious and fresh. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants great food and great service. read more

Absolutely stoked that we stopped in tonight. Our waitress, Skailyr, was top-notch. She suggested items that made our mouths and bellies happy. Laid back and professional service from her! The manager, John, is a swell guy that chatted with us about all the area had to offer. Incredible table side manner. We got the Bourbon nachos - delicious, the bayou chicken - creamy and savory, and the Thai salmon - can you say AWOOOOOOGA!! I have visited the restaurant twice, dining once inside and the second time out on the patio. If my memory serves me correctly, I was greeted by a whiff of smoke as I walked into the restaurant because of the location of the bar, but the food is really tasty and our servers were pleasant. I especially enjoy the sliders and spicy quesodilla from the appetizer menu. NEVER order their milkshakes!!! They are not even deserving of the title. There is no ice cream in them - made completely out of ice, milk, and syrup! YUK! read more

My husband and I had lunch here today and it was amazing. I haven't been here in a while and I am very glad that we came in today. The food and service have improved greatly since my first visit. Over time, it had gotten worse, but they have been fine-tuned the last 3 months. Our food, salmon and bayou chicken, was impressive. Service is an important part with me, being a former restaurant owner, and Mr Colby is the epitome of what service should be. He was polite to my date and I, prompt to offer selections and very cordial with all the guests in the area. He took an already good experience and made it great. read more

My two favorite things to eat at the Grill are the Spring Rolls and the Strawberry Poppyseed salad. Ginger, the day time hostess, is so personable and always accommodates us in our favorite seating. My wife and I went to the grill for our anniversary. It was our first time in Columbus. My wife ordered the chicken fettuccine and I ordered the bayou chicken. Our waitress was Hailey, She was super sweet and welcoming. One of the managers came and welcomed us to the grill. We got a free dessert.
