Within a month the vehicle vibrated and so bad we decided it was dangerous to drive. Seems the inspection station failed to see the holes rusted through the frame of the car and never should have passed inspection according to the legitimate and honest mechanic who found the problems. The tailpipe rusted through where it connected to the engine and feel off while driving. The final straw was when the right front axle rusted so bad that the axle disconnected from the front right wheel and the car became a three wheel drive instead of AWD. The dealer refused to offer any corrective actions quoting "You signed the Purchased as is document" and the "30 day warranty had expired. Should you find a car there you like and take it to a real mechanic and have them inspect the vehicle and assure you that it is mechanically safe to drive. Pine Manor is not to be trusted. Jones has been servicing my TLX Type S for 2 years now, and have typically done a great job with communication and quality of work. For 2 years now, I have requested that they forgo running my car through their car wash, as my vehicle has a dual layer ceramic coat and has only ever been hand washed (I'm an auto enthusiast). They had my trust, as the service advisor once jokingly told me they washed my car during a previous service. On Dec 26th, however, after a routine service, I noticed the vehicle had been run through the car wash, and as expected, my paint was covered in micro scratches / swirl marks. I pointed this out to the service manager and he acknowledged their mistake (and even gave me a hand written note acknowledging their mistake), and offered to have their detailer buff out the scratches. I mentioned that simply buffing out the scratches would effectively remove my expensive ceramic coating, and would not be an adequate remediation. In order to restore the car to its previous condition, the ceramic would need to be removed then reapplied, per my detailer. After explaining this to the service manager, I was questioned about the quality of my ceramic coat, and was told that ceramic coats should prevent scratches in an attempt to pivot some of the blame. Any good detailer knows (and a simple Google search suggests) that ceramic coating does not prevent scratches, rather it adds gloss, protection from environmental contaminants, and ease of cleaning. After emailing the general manager, Kris, about the situation, I received a call from the service manager where I was told the scratches were not from the car wash and must have been present before the service, again that ceramic coatings prevent scratches, and they would not be willing to rectify the situation by working with my detailer to restore the vehicle to its previous condition. Instead, I was offered a complimentary oil change and tire rotation. Instead of making the situation right, Jones chose to lose a potential life long customer and damaged their reputation in the process. Anyone who considers themselves an auto enthusiast should avoid Jones at all costs. I'm extremely disappointed. The photos of the side profile and front of the car were taken in Oct 2023 demonstrating near perfect condition, and the three photos with swirl marks / micro scratches were taken post-service for reference.

Seriously, outside of the Audi dealer, he's the only person I currently trust with my baby. Aka my Audi A8L. The difference? He won't leave me taking out a loan to pay for repairs like the dealer will! He won't suggest unnecessary things and charges extremely fair service pricing for simple things like oil changes or inspection, but is also fair about labor costs and doesn't mark-up part costs. He was cool with me leaving my car there a day or two since he honors those that schedule on advance as the priority. Fair enough. Next time I scheduled and I was in and out no problem. Honest feedback, fair rates, quality work, communicative with a friendly staff. Can't ask for anything more from your mechanic. Shout out to Norbu restaurant for referring me to him as well!
