Great store and nice people. Meat quality is very good and food selection (including "fresh") is excellent. Wilcox ice cream - WOW!

Not recommended…read more Spent the weekend in Vermont with a few other couples and went on a beer tour, which ended at J'ville. We tried the pumpkin stout, which not only didn't taste like a Stout, but didn't have any pumpkin flavor! Very disappointing. We additionally got a bottle of of Sav blanc (they don't allow glasses), it was so terrible that we poured the entire bottle out- a complete waste of money! Positives did include a friendly staff, pretty grounds (plenty of picnic seating and they included lawn games!), good grilled cheese and delicious blueberry cheese!

We also ordered a grilled cheese that had 4-5 different cheeses in it and oh my god was it amazing. And I'm a grilled cheese aficionado. Also, the owner "burned" the first sandwich so she gave us 2 and only charged for one. But it wasn't even ruined! Which brings me to my next point... The owner was so nice and hospitable! We were 2 couples plus a baby up there for the tough mudder in the summer so the restaurants were flooded in the offseason. She recommended a few places to go and even called them for us to make a reservation because there wasn't any cell phone service (which totally sucks but can't hold it against them). The only thing that's weird is Google says they're closed on weekends when they're not. I suggest calling. And getting a grilled cheese.

Food- 4/5 Overall experience- 5/5…read more It was a fun spot to stop at to break up our drive back to Boston. The lot was small but many people were coming in and out so we didn't have to wait long to get a parking spot or outdoor seating. There are two shops: the deli and market with different vibes and items inside. The market is a quick shop with some snacks, drinks, coffee, and knickknacks. The deli is where the hot/cooked foods are at with some other specialty foods. The food was overall ok, nothing noteworthy. The main attraction is their Mac and cheese that had been circulating my IG feed. Don't think it's life changing but the shops have curated selections of local goods that are reasonable priced to get some last minute treats. Pass on the general tso(?) and the potstickers in my opinion unless you're really craving it. The desserts looked amazing and would definitely get one next time

We were able to get a spot in front with no issue, but I imagine that this was because it was a week day. We chose the Mac and cheese and the maple pulled pork. Both were worth the hype in my opinion. The mac and cheese was super creamy and paired well with the tender pulled pork. The baked goods were nothing to write home about. Maybe we just chose the wrong items? We tried: Oatmeal cookie - good, but not amazing. Chocolate chunk/ peanut butter cookie - stale as heck and basically inedible. I always am leery of saran wrapped cookies that are out on display because its impossible to know if there are actually fresh. The giant stacks of cookies were too enticing to pass up on. The chocolate cookie we purchased was definitely not fresh at all. $3.29 down the tubes - lesson on saran wrapped cookies learned (again). Carrot cake whoopie pie and original whoopie pie - both tasty, but the cake was too thick for my personal liking. We sat in the small outdoor seating area to eat. This was a nice little reprieve from the car ride.
