Kids would rather be in the car, we'd rather be in the car, it's a win-win. After about five minutes of waiting, we headed to our room that was ready. This appointment we were seeing Dr. Ferguson. The nurse came in, took his vitals, we let her know what was going on and she said the dr. would be right with us. We waited about five minutes and Dr. Ferguson came in. She was super nice, we talked about the cough, how long it's been going on, and next steps. She recommended a course of medication, and in two weeks we'll be letting the office know how he's doing.

The staff is friendly and the APRNs that are there with her are so knowledgeable, sweet and compassionate. Dr. Kostur is very knowledgeable and listens to all of our concerns as parents and guides us through whatever our kids are experiencing. Friday we were going to go to the beach, but he opted to spin, then hit his head. After a call and picture sent to a teladoc, we were instructed to call our pediatrician to see if they do stitches (newsflash, they don't). So we had two options, either take him to an oncall place or we could go to the ER. We wound up going to the Wolfson's ER near the Town Center. I checked on the website on the way down there that there was only a six minute wait. Surely, that wasn't the case, because when arrived, the entire parking lot was jam packed. We put on our masks, walked in, where a woman greeted us in a mask and took our temperatures. She asked what we were here for and we told her most likely stitches. I went to the front desk and checked in. Everything was done electronically on an ipad, but the woman at the desk was nice and disinfected the tablet prior to me using it. She said they were only allowing one parent per child, we could wait in the waiting room, but once they called us back, one of us would have to go out to the car or stand outside. We waited no more than two minutes to be called back. It was game time. My sweet baby boy had a boo boo and I wanted to be the one to comfort him. Guess what? When we asked who he wanted to go back with him, he said daddy. Insert broken heart here. I wound up tearing up, telling him to be brave, and to call me if he needed anything. Forty-five minutes later he was patched up, with four stitches, a toy the nurse gave him, and a promise from daddy that he'd get a dinosaur toy. We've been coming here to beaches pediatrics at Bartram location for almost 2 years now. I was…read moreimpressed with Dr. Oles when I did the tour at the office before had my baby and in comparison to the other pediatric place near by, I enjoyed this place more. This is their 2nd location so it's smaller and usually only has 2 pediatricians on site. The lobby is open and clean, the front desk MA usually greets us using our child's name, which I'm very pleased with because it makes us feel familiar and comfortable. The check up rooms are small with very few equipments (bed, 2-3 chairs, scale and sanitizer container) and no sink to wash our hands or the doctor's, hopefully they'll improve that in the near future. Our scheduled well visit usually doesn't take longer than an hour and a half. The medical assistants do all the prep work on the child, weigh, measure, triage before the doctor comes in. Dr. Oles is very quick, almost too quick..sometimes! I had to slow her down and ask questions so we could have a better understanding of the diagnosis at our last appointment. I do feel like they rush us out of the office at some of our appointments but I suppose that's normal in all doctors offices, nowadays. I would recommend this office if your baby doesn't get sick often and you enjoy the express lane check up.

I found him to be very personable, knowledgeable and not quick to say...X-ray, MRI or any of that. He poked, prodded and squeezed my ankle then told me, what made sense, what was wrong! I over did it and my inside tendon was inflamed. Probable with "lots" of time it would get better (I was on 3 months already) but with a shot of cortisone it will feel better right away and the cortisone will reduce the swelling inside my ankle hence the healing could take place faster...bingo- we did it!
