First time and had great time. Attended as a meet up with some other awesome..adorable..caring family Yelpers and even had a suite.the Suites are very spacious and offer service if needed. The sharks keep us well entertained during the Game and in between. Those mascots are crazy fun even though they may have damaged some little kids for life lol..it was great..free tshirts were flying ..not our way though...next time...the dancers were great and knew how to shake it woot! This was my first time attending a Sharks game and it was very exciting! I'm a Jax Jumbo Shrimp lady first and foremost but I also like to attend other local sports teams games when I get the opportunity. I've actually had other Shrimp fans tell me how much fun they've had at these games. My first opportunity came to be when a group of us Yelpers got tickets to the 2019 Playoff Game (thanks ticket fairy!). I guess I didn't realize how well this team was doing in the National Arena League. Our seats were amazing! We were able to sit in one of the corner suites and had an amazing view of the field. The game to me was similar to how the Shrimp's game goes: lots of promos and ads, a t-shirt toss, a game to win a prize by throwing balls onto a target on the field, stadium food prices, music to get you out of your seat and dancing, crazy fans, recognizing a veteran. Only difference is that this game is timed and inside, not to mention it's freezing in there! Luckily, they won the game and are off to the Championships. Last night was my first arena football game and it was a lot of fun! I wasn't really sure what to expect going in as compared to the NFL. I knew the field was smaller, but WOW.. only 50 yards! I was really surprised to see how narrow the field goal post was too! There was amazing energy from the crowd throughout the entire game and also from the announcers. They played some really jammin' music the entire time too! The team was great and we won last night! Yay! I think it's amazing that we have such a great arena football team here in Jax! I learned last night you can purchase 2 season tickets for just $185. Not a bad deal at all. Even single game tickets are very reasonable. Every single person working the game was so friendly and helpful. It was just an overall great experience! This is my first year/season attending Professional Arena Football and I must say, it is exciting! I did not realize the fan base for the sport was this massive. They always announce how many people are in attendance during the game and each time the numbers go up. I love the theme night and the atmosphere inside the arena during each home game. The Attack Dancers are good, parking is fairly easy ($10 for garage parking) if there's no other event happening downtown, the team has talent and have been winning, so it's a win-win situation all around. The rules are of course different than a NFL game so I really had to pay attention during my first game. I had many questions concerning how, what, when and especially why, but thank God half the team are my neighbors and they patiently answer all of my questions. Not only are they great players, they are great neighbors! Each home game they make sure I have a ticket so I can sit in the stands and critique their individual plays. Lol. Yes, I am a scout/coach in my own right ;-) The only problem I have is the announcer and the camera person, and it's not really a "problem" per se. As many times as the camera pans the audience the faces I see seem to be the same group of people. Even said on that..... As for the announcer, he does a great job announcing the player(s) who get touchdowns but he barely gets out the names of players who makes other great plays as well. Ok, maybe I pay too much attention to everything. Overall, the Sharks are great and the experience is wonderful!! read more

Although I am not a fan of the arena football experience, if I had kids, this is what we would be doing on a Saturday night! It's inexpensive, each game has a "theme" for families to enjoy (this past week was Halloween in April, I'm not sure why, but hey, people dressed up!), and throughout the night there are activities and on-field games to keep your attention. For me, however, the experience fell a little flat. The game was fun, but the excessive advertising was just too much for me, and the gimmicky entertainment left me feeling like i was watching football in an awkward casino. They also happened to be advertising the "Attack" (cheer squad) bikini calendar when I went, which I had no issue with until they had a topless woman displayed on the jumbotron (advertising the cover model). I just don't think this is child-appropriate. Overall, it wasn't an experience I'll be repeating , but it was definitely a fun (and inexpensive compared to other events....NFL) evening and worth a try. read more

Even, though it was an exhibition game the teams gave it their all! I was so thrilled that the Sharks won! The game came down to the wire and was thrilling to the last second! We have been to quite a few games and it is really fun and less of a wallet emptying experience. Then the Shark Really Win a lot of game and even a Championship. Even this year if they could have won they would have played in the Arena (super bowl) bowl. The whole experience inside the building is great. Everyone is there to help you if you need. I have been there unable to walk much and they helped me and made room for me. I really don't think that there is a bad seat in the house. The game is fast moving and you can't not leave earlier. Well to start off people should give the AFL a try because the action is non stop and there is no punting or field goals kicking ( I guess which makes for the high scoring games and big yardage totals) I was impressed by the efforts of the guys playing. I have heard of the players that were in the game such as Marty Gilyard (former all Big East wide out for Cincinnati Bearcats) and a couple players on the Tampa Bay Storm. I enjoyed watching the game, even though the players were clearly not in game shape or regular season mode. I hope Jacksonville has a great season and wins a 5th straight division title. I tried to contact the home and no one would answer, even though your hours stated 9am - 5pm. Went to my first game last night. We purchased the family four pack of tickets which were in the end zone. It was great being up close to the players and the action. We ordered our tickets through the box office and I was told they were " Best Available " Row E seats 1-4. We picked up the tickets at will call and headed for our seats. Again it was great sitting so close to the field. The only problem was we had an obstructed view of the field. At no time did the sales person tell me that we would not be able to see the game because of the lower crossbar of the net. The people in row F had the same complaint as well. We left at halftime without seeing most of the first half. I wish the sales person would have told me that row E has an obstructed view. The players and the fans were great. A fun time for the whole family. My dad has season tickets and wanted to enjoy the Saturday before Father's Day with the grands, my husband and me. This was our first time going to a Shark's game and let's just say for a family of 5, this was MUCH more affordable than going to an NFL game (we've been to those). And this was with good seats. Sure the game itself may not be quite as exciting, but it's a good family friendly environment and those guys put in the work. The music was GOOD the whole night, with a little to suit different tastes. The halftime show was great! They had fire twirlers and eaters (is that what they're called?! Lol) The crowd around us was fun. Oh, it was Halloween in June, so people were dressed up and they gave the kids little treat bags with candy and little toy bugs, my kids were loving the pants off of those little spiders and one made its way into the kitchen the next day and almost gave me a nervous breakdown! Yeah, not funny! We all had a great time. And I would definitely recommend going to a Sharks game. Oh and of course being that it's indoors you don't have to worry about the HEAT or rain, YES, you gotta love that! read more
