This was my first time attending a Sharks game and it was very exciting! I'm a Jax Jumbo Shrimp lady first and foremost but I also like to attend other local sports teams games when I get the opportunity. I've actually had other Shrimp fans tell me how much fun they've had at these games. My first opportunity came to be when a group of us Yelpers got tickets to the 2019 Playoff Game (thanks ticket fairy!). I guess I didn't realize how well this team was doing in the National Arena League. Our seats were amazing! We were able to sit in one of the corner suites and had an amazing view of the field. The game to me was similar to how the Shrimp's game goes: lots of promos and ads, a t-shirt toss, a game to win a prize by throwing balls onto a target on the field, stadium food prices, music to get you out of your seat and dancing, crazy fans, recognizing a veteran. Only difference is that this game is timed and inside, not to mention it's freezing in there! Luckily, they won the game and are off to the Championships. I wish them well if I don't make it to the Championship game. Go Sharks!

The Jacksonville Sharks was founded in 2009 and they started their season play in 2010 under the Arena Football League. They were a 4-time Division Champs and won the Arena Bowl XXIV in 2011. In 2017, the Sharks began play as charter members of the National Arena League. Ticket pricing starts at less than $15 per ticket and you get to watch a fast paced high scoring indoor football. Also, there's a lot of activities in between plays such as free shirt giveaways, football toss, dance contest, salute hometown veterans, and trivias just to name a few. The Sharks Tank is located in the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. We enjoy going to the games and it's definitely a fun time for all ages. Note: On 07/10/17, the Jacksonville Sharks defeated the Columbus Lions 27 - 21 to become the 2017 National Arena League champions. Go Sharks!

Last night was my first arena football game and it was a lot of fun! I wasn't really sure what to expect going in as compared to the NFL. I knew the field was smaller, but WOW.. only 50 yards! I was really surprised to see how narrow the field goal post was too! There was amazing energy from the crowd throughout the entire game and also from the announcers. They played some really jammin' music the entire time too! The team was great and we won last night! Yay! I think it's amazing that we have such a great arena football team here in Jax! I learned last night you can purchase 2 season tickets for just $185. Not a bad deal at all. Even single game tickets are very reasonable. Every single person working the game was so friendly and helpful. It was just an overall great experience! If you're looking for a great night of fun for the entire family, bring them to a Sharks game!

This is my first year/season attending Professional Arena Football and I must say, it is exciting! I did not realize the fan base for the sport was this massive. They always announce how many people are in attendance during the game and each time the numbers go up. I love the theme night and the atmosphere inside the arena during each home game. The Attack Dancers are good, parking is fairly easy ($10 for garage parking) if there's no other event happening downtown, the team has talent and have been winning, so it's a win-win situation all around. The rules are of course different than a NFL game so I really had to pay attention during my first game. I had many questions concerning how, what, when and especially why, but thank God half the team are my neighbors and they patiently answer all of my questions. Not only are they great players, they are great neighbors! Each home game they make sure I have a ticket so I can sit in the stands and critique their individual plays. Lol. Yes, I am a scout/coach in my own right ;-) The only problem I have is the announcer and the camera person, and it's not really a "problem" per se. As many times as the camera pans the audience the faces I see seem to be the same group of people. Even said on that..... As for the announcer, he does a great job announcing the player(s) who get touchdowns but he barely gets out the names of players who makes other great plays as well. Ok, maybe I pay too much attention to everything. Overall, the Sharks are great and the experience is wonderful!!

What a great experience. Fast action, talented athletes, and an organization that values the fan experience. Unlike the NFL, the game is non-stop. No boring, dragged out scrimmages. The games are affordable priced, and provide a great experience for the entire family. Sharks season tickets are a bargain. GET SOME!!

During the Spring and Summer months a great value is a Jacksonville Suns Arena Football Game. The parking is $10 and Seats range from $20 to $60. range. The action on the field is amazing! Many of the players have played in the NFL and are wanting a chance to return to Sunday play. The event staff are nice and concessions for food include Bono's BBQ and Firehouse Subs, of course they have other game day food stalls selling items like Burgers and Pizza. Great clean fun, awesome music , and big time football in the air conditioning what could be better in Jacksonville!

If you have to choose between season tickets with the Jags and the Sharks, skip EverBank and come to the dark side of football....... the Sharks! This is always fun, and I am glad I spent the money--every single time.

Best way to describe a Sharks game is a big party and a football game breaks out. Awesome fun. Give it a try. Bring beer money!

So awesome after the game fans get to go down and meet the players an s what a great fun night out.

Ask the Community - Jacksonville Sharks

Never attended a Sharks game and planning on going tonight. Looking at the Arena and ticket options and don't want to pay a fortune for 1st time. Does it matter the side you sit on? Are the top seat$11-$18 nosebleed?

Sorry, didnt see this til now but to answer your question for the next time you go, the parking garage across the street is $10. I would purchase the cheaper seats because once you get to your section you can pretty much sit in open seats. All of my…

Getting around feels simple and efficient, and for a stadium, the food and drink prices really aren't nearly as outrageous as you'd expect. One thing I especially love is that it's actually IN Jacksonville instead of being built 20+ miles outside the city it's named after like so many other stadiums. The downtown location adds so much to the experience and makes game days/events feel connected to the city itself. Already excited to see what it looks like after the renovations because the future plans sound incredible. Also, huge shoutout to Steve C. in the Gallagher Club -- hands down the best bartender in the entire stadium. Friendly, fast, and always makes the experience even better.

I recently contacted the Jacksonville Jaguars about purchasing season tickets and was specifically…read moreinterested in Section 130, Row C. I worked with Account Executive Gray Gibson, and after several conversations, we agreed those seats were perfect. They were one row behind our friends and were exactly what I wanted for a special gift for my husband. I was a serious buyer, prepared to spend nearly $6,000. I explained to Gray that I needed a few days before paying because I was waiting for the "clear to close" on my home purchase. We scheduled a call for Thursday, with payment planned for Friday. On Wednesday morning, Gray told me the seats were still available and said he would see about holding them. I asked to move our call up to Wednesday, but he told me there was no reason to do so if I wasn't paying that day. Based on that conversation, I believed the seats were being held for me. Ironically, later that afternoon I received my clear to close, meaning I was free to make the purchase. Unfortunately, Thursday morning Gray told me the seats were gone, along with the seats directly behind them. I was offered seats several rows farther back. I understand that other customers can purchase available seats. What I don't understand is why I was left with the impression that the seats were being held for me when they weren't. If I had been clearly told from the beginning that it was simply first come, first paid, I would have understood the risk and handled things differently. I also spoke with supervisor Chris Carter, but unfortunately there was no meaningful resolution. I repeatedly explained why Section 130 was important to me, yet the focus remained on trying to sell me other seats costing thousands of dollars that didn't meet my needs. This was supposed to be an exciting gift for my husband, and instead the experience completely ruined it. The Jaguars didn't just lose the sale of these seats--they lost a customer. Clear communication and customer service should matter just as much as making the sale.
