They also had a Filipino food truck there called Sa Mesa, which is always so delicious so we got that for dinner and watched the game. The seats were nice and shaded, which I appreciated and the stadium is clean and nice. I ended up catching a ball, which was so exciting and very memorable! We ended up winning and it was so much fun and I will definitely be back for another fun night here!

There are plenty of food options, including a couple of shrimp entrees. I had the popping shrimp, and it was great. They also have a shrimp po boy and a shrimp quesadilla. They also have the standard hot dog, popcorn, peanuts and ice cream. The field looks beautiful. The announcer is very energetic.

He doesn't hold a player to any particular position. ... who cares if you're a lefty. You're going to spend some time behind the plate and all positions in the in field too. Before your player is finished with NFH, he/she will be able to play any position and play it well. Coach Mark has former players who now assist him with the different teams. He has position coaches and hitting coaches. Speaking of hitting.. Coach Mark also has an indoor hitting "academy" for rainy days. Complete with two iron mike pitching machines, a soft toss / t-ball bay and a bull pen with pitching coach (Wil) giving instruction. He takes all the 12u teams to Cooperstown at the end of the summer and it's an amazing opportunity to finish the year in style. This could be a beautiful park and track, but whoever is in charge of maintaining this place has let it fall apart and become a health hazard. The track is shredded with both small and large bits of track pieces all over making it impossible to do any sort of sprint or distance running on it safely. I rolled my ankles multiple times trying to run a 400m on the track. The restrooms are bolted shut so do your business before coming here. The pool area has debris strewn all over and the parking is limited. The people inside the building might even ask you to park in a different spot so that the old ladies who work there can haul themselves into the building. It's just sad that whoever is responsible for maintaining this place has let it become what it is. I assume the city of Jacksonville is responsible for it in some capacity so shame on this city. Kids are out there playing on the playground and the basketball courts and people still go out and use the track. We deserve better than this! All the taxes we pay and this town can't even give its people a halfway decent park and track. SHAME!

Willowbranch Park is bordered by Willow Branch Avenue, Sydney Street, Cherry Street, and Park Street. At one end is the Willowbranch Library and on the same side, at the other end, are baseball and soccer fields. The other half of the park are paths and gently wooded areas to stroll and benches to sit on. This is not a dog park, so dogs need to be leashed at all times (city ordinance). Parking is located on the outskirts of the park. Please only use the library parking lot when the library is closed. Also, when parking across from the park, be careful of driveways and do not block.

Which sounds great, but the amount of trash and loitering definitely made it seem like this park gets a little strange at night. One of the restroom towards the back had a truck camped close to it. As if they were living there. The restroom near the front entrance just looks sketchy in general plus people under the pavilion side eyeing me, along with all the parked vehicle activity made it even more sketchy. I wouldn't recommend coming here at night. Unless you want to get strange.
