We took our 2023 C8 Corvette in for a transmission fluid change per the manufacturer's stated requirements on the representation that Ware had a Corvette tech on staff. In fact, that representation was not true. No written estimate was provided for review and signature prior to servicing. The service that was provided was not the service for which we took the car in. When confronted about the issue, the service manager, Shawn, declared that in his 7 years in the job he had never heard of or done the fluid change and assured us in response to a direct question that the failure to do the fluid change at 3 years would not jeopardize our warranty. When asked about the cost of the fluid change, Shawn stated that it was at least a 6-hour labor-intensive service because you have to drop the pan on the underside of the car. His comment was frightening since there is no such pan. To change the fluid there is a plug for convenience in draining the fluid, and the entire service should take no more than one hour! After consulting with Corvette Concierge and arming ourselves with written confirmation of the timing for the fluid change, we dealt with the GM who ultimately conceded that we were correct about the timing and need for the transmission fluid change. If you are a Corvette owner in northeast Georgia, avoid Ware Chevrolet for your service needs.

So when my wife's Tahoe started acting up I immediately called him to get some prices. I fully went to his shop and unloaded all the wife's stuff to get it ready to leave for him to get to it when he could. He was several weeks out and I was gonna have to figure out how to find the wife another form of transportation. He wanted to ride in it with me first and put it on his computer. He quickly told me after a short ride that it wasn't my transmission causing the shifting problem. After 30 min of research he was able to determine that my rear tires were more worn than the front and caused the rear to spin faster. And because the wife had it in auto, the computer couldn't figure out if it needed to be in 4 dr or 2 dr. Now anybody could have told me that it was the trans and I would have agreed. The vehicle had tell tale signs and was at about that mileage. But Brock was an honest man. I offered to pay him for his time and help. He refused. I shook his hand and thanked him and went on my way. I write this review because Brocks Transmission will have all my business from now on. From the moment I called until I picked up my car, I had a great experience with Gerard's. I initially spoke with Frank and then Brian took care of me throughout the process.
