Pain never visits at a good time, especially when it comes on the weekend. To my dismay, I could not find an emergency dentist here in Austin open on a Sunday. Can you believe that? In Austin..and surrounding areas..nothing. The pain was bad enough that I thought; "lets try 100 miles away in San Antonio!" I called and spoke to one of the kindest voices I think I've ever heard in a Doctor's office, Andrea was genuinely concerned and went out of her way to make sure she could get me in the next morning (I had called right before closing Saturday night) got me set up and wished me well on my trip there. Arrived Sunday morning met Andrea and she was as sweet, professional and efficient in person as on the phone. I then was introduced to Liam who would walk me through x-rays, ask what was going on with my tooth pain etc. He has the absolute best personality for a person who might be a little nervous or hesitant to visit the dentist. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and just really caring..the guy puts you at ease immediately. Doctor William Dunn came in then and surveyed the mess in my mouth, came up with a plan of attack and throurougly explained everything. Absolutely didn't feel rushed or just like a number.. The sincere care, concern, integrity and easy going nature in this office definitely starts from the top! I'm sure his example is what keeps the vibe alive.. Then the financial part came and I was kinda expecting the worse (with all this first class service..I thought "ok..here it comes.." Arnol explained exactly what the process would be and answered all my questions- I must say the price was reasonable and definitely not anything I was dreading. Arnol is great too a real people person! Note: Another dentist in another city had suggested a whole procedure in the future that would literally run about 25k and these two should me how and why that wasn't necessary, using my x-rays and their expertise. In fact they explained in very simple terms I would actually need much less done than previously advised. No sketchy selling of services here.. I feel they truly had my healtg and my best interests in mind, and I intend to follow their advice. Long story short.. procedure completed (extraction of a abcess tooth) and practically instant relief! I will actually drive the 100 miles to get the rest of my work needed here.. to me, integrity, professionalism, service and medical skill go a long way. These folks have it all.

I don't smile as big anymore being self conscious about my teeth. I figured I'm 66, so maybe I should just get implants and not have to worry about it anymore. When I got to their clinic, I was greeted with friendly smiles and positive energy. They scanned my teeth and I went back to the waiting room for a short time. It wasn't long before I was called back. He told me my jaw bone structure was in good shape and my teeth were also. I did need some dental work, but I wasn't eligible ( under their standards) to get implants. He suggested veneers to make my teeth brighter. He told me that there were people who would give me implants, but they didn't recommend them and wouldn't do them. I was so impressed with their honesty and looking out for my best interest. I would definitely recommend Nuvia in San Antonio, Texas. I'm so glad I didn't remove healthy teeth. Looking back, I wish I had slowed down and done more research before making any decisions. The biggest disappointment has been the company's communication and transparency. I was promised callbacks that never came, received vague timelines, and repeatedly had to initiate contact myself. When I was told my refund had been processed, I asked for basic information such as the refund amount and confirmation or documentation that it had been submitted. The general manager said he could provide neither, and corporate was unable to provide a confirmation number as well. As a customer, that level of uncertainty is unacceptable. Trust is essential when you're making major healthcare and financial decisions. Unfortunately, my experience left me questioning whether I was receiving clear, straightforward information at every stage of the process. I came away feeling that closing the sale was prioritized over ensuring I was fully informed and comfortable with my decision. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Nuvia. I would advise anyone considering using this company to way ALL of their option thoroughly before committing.
