They quoted me $25, which is crazy but I thought maybe it was more due to the stains. When I picked it up, they just handed it to me not mentioning the stains. I lifted the plastic and saw that the stains were still there! The woman (who was brusque and rude for no reason when I dropped off the garment) kept repeating that they got ONE of the stains out, did not apologize, empathize, or explain why a couple stains remained. I thought at least they'd not charge me or discount the rate, but she just dug in her heels and got ruder, turning away from me even though I was calm and professional. I told her I wouldn't be coming back and she said "that's okay." I'm not used to this, as I get along with everyone, but between the rude staff member, the shoddy job, and the unprofessional handling of the issue, I'm kind of P.O.ed. Please don't go here!

I brought them in on a Friday on my way to work and not only did they have a zipper there to put in, but incredibly were able to complete the job by the next day!! I recently went back with my senior citizen dad to have two suits taken in as he has lost some weight over the last few years. We were worried that it would cost more to alter than to replace the suits but we got a very reasonable price and again, amazingly, were able to pick the suits up the next day. The two women who waited on us (I think one is the owner) were very pleasant, professional, and skilled. They didn't hesitate to tell me that the pants of one suit really didn't need to be taken in. They were very courteous to and patient with my dad. I can't recommend this shop highly enough. This place is a find. Convenient (on the Waverly bus line out of Harvard Square) and with on-street parking. The establishment is clean and pleasant with room to maneuver (sometimes tailor shops can be cramped and overfull).
