    I only liked the pineapple

Really 3.5, vegetarian version. Clean and options filled. They had tofu broccoli which was great. Green beans garlic were very nice. Mac and cheese was cheesy. Seaweed salad and kimchi a nice surprise. Hot and sour soup tastes like canned bamboo shoots- I couldn't eat it. Fried rice too oily. Wasn't a fan of the lo mein either. But lots of people eating the other offerings and seemed happy. The only good dessert was the pineapple. Overall not bad. They should offer another vegetarian sushi and roll them better- they were falling apart. The wasabi was good and so was the service.

Calling it a meal would be an insult to actual food. The sweet tea? A sad, watered-down mess that clearly gave up on life halfway through being poured. Let's talk about the black mold--yes, black mold--on the ceilings and in the women's restroom. That's not just gross, it's a full-blown health hazard. The entire building feels like it hasn't seen a cleaning crew--or basic maintenance--since the early 2000s. The windows are caked in filth, and the air has that special "what died in here?" aroma. We were charged $140 for six people to sit in what felt like a biohazard zone and nibble on food so repulsive it should be illegal to serve. We left after 10 minutes because honestly, it felt like our immune systems were under attack just being there. My sister started having stomach pains within five minutes of leaving. I'm not saying the food caused it--but I'm also not not saying that. This place needs to be shut down, fumigated, and bulldozed. I will absolutely be calling the town, the health department, and anyone else who will listen. Do everyone a favor and close this dump before someone ends up in the hospital.

You know when someone dares you to do something, and you know it's a bad idea to try it but you do…read moreit anyway? That was kind of the feeling I got when I decided to eat here. Clearly there's no shortage of horrible reviews and that was part of the apprehension before my meal. But, as someone who's visited countless casinos and eaten at a long list of buffets, I had to check it out. The verdict? Well, in summation this place is an odd mix of aspiration and execution. In many ways, it's kind of endearing to see people here work SO hard busting tables, making conversation with guests and trying to do their best to replicate a casino buffet experience. On the other hand, it's clear this place is simply not up to the task in terms of execution due to various reasons. Is it inexperience? Is it lack of professional management? Is it lack of a good chef or seasoned cooks? Who knows. But it's clear they don't have the capacity to execute this level of dining operation. Now, you're probably wondering, how was the food? Well, most of the food was terrible. I mentioned during my dinner that this feels like an elementary school hot lunch buffet from the 1980's. A lot of the food reminded me of the stuff I used to eat in public school in NYC during that time. The pizza literally tasted like the pizza I used to get when I was in school, which honestly I wouldn't ever pay real money for now. The salad bar was generally flaccid like a 80 year old man desperately in need of Viagra. While there was a reasonable amount of offerings, none of the ingredients were of decent quality which is surprising given the great local produce in the Saratoga area. The Asian section was incredibly poor, though the lo mein was okay. The cook in charge of the area at least took a lot of time making sure the food was always properly stocked. The Italian section was greasy and featured some limp looking meatballs and overly creamy (and oddly tasteless) pasta. Even the American/entree section somehow managed to make items like mashed potatoes and corn taste extremely bland. I do agree with a previous reviewer that for $16 you shouldn't come in expecting a culinary revelation, but I also think for basics like mashed potatoes you can still make it taste better than what you'd get from a Hungry Man frozen dinner meal. One other note - stay away from the fried shrimp. It was laughably bad. The breading was not only tasteless but so thick that you'd think it was a fried sock that you were eating. The one saving grace of the whole experience was that I managed to go on Friday night, which means it's steak night! The cook was busting his ass cooking tons of sirloin steaks (some to order) and keeping the steak area fully stocked. That was great because the other meats they featured that night, including the pork loin, tasted like dried leather. Fortunately the steaks were not nearly as horrible and actually tasted like those steaks we used to get at Sizzler. Now Sizzler steaks aren't exactly top notch steaks, but it's a heck of a lot better than the other stuff they had that night. I also give credit to the staff for being energetic and really working hard to keep the steaks coming because clearly that's what most people were having that evening. The desserts were extremely mediocre. Only the whoopie pie was decent. The key lime tart was notably bad and tasted as bad as it looked. The fruits there were okay, but the oranges they had were a sad lot. At least the strawberries were somewhat okay, especially if you douse it in cream since they weren't particularly sweet. Our waiter was also fantastic. He was diligent and made sure to check on us frequently and kept our drinks topped off at all times. He definitely deserved the nice tip we left him. In many ways, his efforts were symbolic of the whole experience. This place aims to try and do what the guys in Vegas (or to a limited degree Atlantic City) do. But it's clear they have a ton of work to do because if not for the passable steaks they served on that special Friday promotion ... there literally is nothing there to eat that is worth paying $16 for. You're better off driving to town and eating from any of the countless good restaurants on the main drag. However, despite the 1 star for the food ... I definitely give props to the service which was 2 stars ... giving this place a middling 3 starts overall.

They did have peel and eat shrimp which were good. Tonight there was a catfish dish available, jalapeño and corn bread coated... terrible idea, stick to the Simple Cajun seasoning and it would be passable. I tried the fried calamari and it was very rubbery. There was a top round offered, and that with the real mashed potatoes was good. The selections for Asian foods were horrible and everything tasted the same. My wife had the Split Pea Soup, one of our favorite soups and she said it was good. The desert selection was good, and the few items I tried were good. I know buffets aren't the culinary delight for many people. I enjoy buffets because of the selections available, I never know exactly what is going to get my taste buds going. For a Friday night the restaurant was empty, almost immediately seating and the casino had a fair sized crowd. I remember going years ago and you'd wait on line to be seated and the food was tasty. I've been to Fortunes upstairs and that is in a class by itself.... always good.... but it was closed because of a private party.... Darn..... BTW, the service was good!

Just okay, not bad. Offers a lot for a buffet & the hot pot is included (unlimited ingredients &…read morevegetables too)! Wouldn't have thought I would have tried (eaten years ago traveling in Asia): razor clams, snail, frog leg, crawfish, abalone cooked in different ways (a very pricey seafood- in garlic sauce with vermicelli noodles & in Buddha Jumps Over the Wall herbal soup). Other seafood items included: ONE whole lobster per person (not sure if this was specifically for the holiday), blue stone crab, crab legs, shrimp many different ways (cocktail, boiled in shell & dusted with seasoning, battered & fried for "Coconut Shrimp" kind of like sweet walnut shrimp), a raw bar area, grilled oysters, oysters & XO sauce... The sauteed string beans were good, pineapple sticky rice. The rice in the large rice cooker was large short-grain with varying types of doness (some crispy, some wet...). The short ribs, pepper beef, & pork belly cubes were lukewarm, not very flavorful & a bit tough. The dim sum options in the steamers were probably great when they first came out, but my shrimp crystal dumpling wrapper was tough and crispy on the edges & mushy shrimp & black sesame seeds inside & the lava custard bun was congealed & lukewarm. There's a few soups like hot & sour, broth for wonton, an herbal chicken & goji berry (good for eyesight). There was a dessert area with a lot of fresh fruit, cake & pudding cups (catering-like quality though), almond cookies & herbal jelly, an ice cream bar case, a few canned K-pop sodas, refrigerator of milk tea, passionfruit juice, mango sago, etc. & 3 cases of hot pot ingredients including various fish meatballs, tofu puffs, udon & potato noodles, watercress, chrysanthemum leaves, napa cabbage, mixed mushrooms, frozen thinly sliced pork belly, beef, and lamb. I didn't get to try the mad-to-order ramen & noodle soup. There's a huge sushi bar with lots of pretty bites, but items looked a bit crispy around the edges. The eel on the sushi was paper thin. The spicy tuna sushi was not. good. Have never heard of or seen the herbal soup Buddha Jumps Over the Wall. Supposedly it takes a long time to simmer & the ingredients are immune boosting & collagen rich. Broth from pork shank, chicken feet, abalone, dried scallops, mushrooms, a quail egg was also in there. It's kind of like a rich hearty dark broth with "healthy root beer" undertones. This soup only appears at the best wedding & other banquets. Try it! Final thoughts: eat anything with abalone ($$) buffet is worth it for that. Get a hot pot & warm up any seafood in the water before eating it. Lots of interesting items to try. Overall it FEELS like a buffet - big on quantity, little on quality, kind of empty. Maybe during seafood season, items would be juicy & tasty, but even the meat items felt like empty St*rbucks food. It's not a bad experience, good bang for the buck. The frog legs were literally like a chicken wing & well seasoned & spicy. The lunch pricing seems good also.

Chinese buffet with some regular food offerings such as baked Salmon and mashed potatoes. Several beverages come with buffet. Chinese items: 2 Stars There were several Chinese dishes with chicken. I sampled five, all of which were poor to mediocre. Chicken was tough, overcooked/fried. Vegetables were scarce. Hot and sour soup had fresh mushroom slices but little tofu; it was not hot in temp. Pork Egg Roll was good. Sushi was 4 stars. There were six kinds. No signs to identify. The accompanying Seaweed Salad was excellent. A bowl of pickled ginger was available. Yum. Salmon and mashed potatoes were good. Did not try stir-fry or pizza. Desserts were poor. Fresh watermelon slices were old and DRY. What? Pineapple was fresh. Every time they filled the buffet they wiped down the counter and as soon as someone left they swept under the tables. Some of the staff weren't overly friendly but I attribute it to a language barrier. The food was better than I expected but I don't think it's quite as good as ordering takeout from other places. The only disappointment was they didn't have boneless spare ribs (the one thing that I wanted) but maybe they rotate dishes. Notable items include: beef & broccoli, chicken in garlic sauce, sesame chicken, pork egg roll, dumpling, stuffed mushrooms, chicken wings, and clams in garlic butter. Items to skip: stuffed clam, vegetable lo mein, sweet & sour chicken, and fried donut (needed more powdered sugar). Beware: some of the items may be mis-marked. I tried one of the "chicken nuggets" that definitely had the texture and taste of whitefish.

This place is easily the worst buffet I've encountered so far. I tried just about everything, mostly out of curiosity and mild scientific concern. Somehow even the Diet Coke tasted off, which I didn't know was possible. It was like carbonation mixed with disappointment. Most of the food had the flavor profile of warm air. At a certain point it got so bad I just started laughing. The egg roll deserves special recognition. It was greasy, soggy, and somehow burned on the bottom at the same time, which feels like a culinary achievement. The cabbage inside had a smell that reminded me of cleaning out the spice cabinet at grandma's house after it had sat untouched for twenty years. Everything on the buffet looked old. And when fresh trays came out... they also somehow looked old. I'm not sure how they're bending time like that, but it's impressive. The only positive was the service. The staff were smiling, friendly, and seemed genuinely happy as they calmly poisoned the dining room one customer at a time. Needless to say, I won't be back.
