This is a "mom and pop" sushi shop with a focus on take out orders. You can dine in but it feels like a no-nonsense space and the proprietors concentrate their attention to friendly service and efficient, expeditious preparation of familiar Japanese food. While I was there, all of the orders were to go. They were all called in and I was the only one who walked in to order my food. A thing I noticed is that the age tofu (tempura tofu) was served with a little bit of togarashi (chili pepper spice blend) on the top. At other places, the age tofu is sometimes served with bonito flakes and/or daikon oroshi (grated daikon radish). The shop does punch above its weight in the freshness of fish or seafood used in their sushi/sashimi dishes. The sushi and sashimi combo was impressive. The yellowtail (Japanese amberjack) was the standout for me. It had a substantial bite but retained a mild flavor. Next time, I'll call in my order before I drive there.

Always so good and fresh. The Alaskan roll is my favorite. Price is fair. It's always ready on time with good customer service.

Party Box #1 dish. They let you select the eight types of rolls.

This place is a hidden gem. From the outside Oishi is very unassuming. Inside the food is amazing. The two things that surprised me were the quality and quantity of food. This is the 3rd week in a row my wife and I have gone out for sushi and Oishi blew the other two places away. We ordered the party box #1 and Salmon lover dishes. We have decided the next time we go for sushi we will drive an hour north to go back here.

This is my new favorite place. While I prefer take out - they do have a small dining room. The sushi is made fresh. There is a ton of Vegetarian options (even mango sushDelivery and/or pick up is always fast and the service is friendly. Also during the pandemic they took severe precautions and I appreciated that.

I ordered the Hibachi combo lunch. Shrimp and Steak accompanied by noodles and vegetables. The food came out quite quickly and it was delicious. Not to mention that the prices are great and the food portion is also great. Definitely recommend this place.

Love this place! It's a great addition to the area and I love that it's a close place to get reasonably priced sushi. I've ordered the party box twice now. Usually I go to an unlimited sushi place when in the mood for sushi but that ends up usually costing us around $65 for two people. From Oishi we've been ordering the party box #2 for $40. The amount of sushi we get with the party box is more than the amount of sushi we'd eat at unlimited and costs less, so it's a great deal. The party box #2 could easily feed 2-4 people depending on how much sushi you can eat. Each roll comes with 6 pieces. In the party box pictured we got the California roll, spicy shrimp roll (x2), spicy crab roll, cucumber roll, sweet potato & avocado roll, super volcano roll, and Tokyo roll (my favorite). I've ordered online both times and the orders have been ready in 15-20 minutes. All in all 5 stars and I have no complaints!

Everything was delicious!! Crab Rangoon was the best I have had. Just enough crab meat and sweet but not too sweet! Ginger dressing was a little thicker and lighter than other places it was delightful! The sushi we had was a Phili roll, tuna and Eel avocado, so fresh and perfectly portioned with each ingredient! DELICIOUS! Also got the shrimp Yakisoba noodles, so good although it could have had more shrimp!! Real Green tea was good and we didn't have any room for dessert so maybe next time!! I will definitely be back! Small inside, but nice, very clean and you can get it to go as well if you didn't want to stay! Debbie was very nice server! All the staff was pleasant! We enjoyed it! Give them a try!!

Very friendly staff and always top notch sushi. My only complaint is the price going up more than 25% in the last year.

Decent food, great service, and reasonable prices. I order from here about once a month. Best sushi in Scotia, NY!

I'll admit to having kind of written it off for a long time due to the weird menu/concept (it's hard to trust that a restaurant is going to serve you a burger, some empanadas and a plate of pad Thai and execute any or all of them competently), but the good people at Fusion are serving food that's truly, honestly about three times better than it needs to be (caveat: we've stuck to the more Asian sections of the menu, so I won't make any bold claims about the burgers). The Chinese portion of our family unit said that my drunken noodles reminded him of the stuff that a street vendor sold outside of his middle school, which like, IYKYK (if you don't know, this is about the highest praise a plate of noodles can get). I'm not normally a major pad Thai enthusiast, but the version here was well-balanced and flavorful, not just kind of sweet and gloppy like a lot of local versions, and the broth for the chicken noodle soup is also truly random-SE Asian-street-cart level flavorful. If that wasn't enough to sell you on this place, the draft Sapporo is five bucks. In conclusion: please come here support these nice folks so they can continue to make above-par food for many years to come.

I will admit at first I was a little nervous, the restaurant only had a total of four menus so we had to share, and we were told the bartender hadn't showed up that day. Nonetheless, I immediately got a good vibe from the guy working there. The menu had a Colombian section, a burger section and an Asian section. We all stuck with Asian dishes. It quickly became clear that the guy taking our order was the only one working. He got to work making the meals for six people. While he was cooking away, another large group of at least seven people arrived and sat themselves. You'd never know there was one guy doing everything all alone because the food was beautifully presented, all dishes were served together and man was it delicious! Everyone was very happy with their meals and we all got a variety of dishes. This is clearly a small business and definitely worth checking out. The one guy there was working so hard, but was so friendly and still attentive, despite manning the place alone. I will definitely be back to try out more

The atmosphere is welcoming, they have a hibachi grill "Ting Ting Flip" room for parties, a sushi bar, and a nice dining area. It's all a great use of space for a restaurant that isn't necessarily huge, but also does not feel cramped. There's mild background music playing, so you never feel awkward between chats. And the lighting is just right, without being too dim or annoyingly bright. I started with Crab Rangoons and a California Roll. The rangoons were crispy and delicious. The California roll was fresh and hit the spot. But the Basil Chicken really blew me away tonight. It came with a mushroom broth soup which was yummy and a simple Japanese salad with a delicious sesame dressing ~ perfect for that umami craving. The main course Basil Chicken was packed with vegetables, perfectly cooked chicken, and although it was mild, had a nice kick to it. On display mushrooms, red and green peppers, onion, eggplant, broccoli, and asparagus. Really a full serving of all the good vegetables you need! The basil was not overpowering, and complimented the rest of the dish with that basil pop of flavor. Definitely will come back to order this one again!
