While searching around the area for a haircut, I stumbled upon this place! I came in for a walk-in around 11am, and Jade was able to accommodate me! Having super long, thick quarantine hair, I asked her to thin out my hair, trim off 3 inches, and give me long layers and Jade did an awesome job! I love the care and detail she put into her work! Jade also made sure to ask me if I was satisfied before moving on to the shape and layers to make sure that I was completely satisfied! My haircut was 55$ + tip so it was sorta pricey, but comparatively cheaper than other places that I looked up that charges 70$+ for a cut. Price was understandable since my hair was super thick and long to begin with, but I'm not too worried because I usually get my hair cut every 2 years! I'd definitely come back when I need a haircut again because of her fantastic job! It is cash only so make sure you bring cash! read more

I have been going to Jade for over 10 years now and I still love her! She's super busy all the time, but tries really hard to squeeze you in when she can. As expected with any Asian person that cuts hair, she cuts a little shorter than I had requested, but my hair grows pretty quick so I don't mind. Jade has always been good at hair - I've had her do highlights, short bobs, lobs, trims, side bangs, etc., since I was a kid for a reasonable price. Recently I went in for a 2 inch trim and some fringe bangs. I attempted to do a walk in around 1 but she was booked until 4:30. Jade has definitely controlled her client size down to three chairs (but only kept two filled when I was there) and gives you her undivided attention instead of multitasking between clients. When I got in, I did a hair wash because I always love the scalp/neck massage. I showed her a few pictures of the bangs I wanted and she told me the difference between the ones I presented. We agreed on the one that she suggested and I felt confident she could do. She took her time parting the bangs and then slowly started snipping away. As soon as she reached my eyes, she worked a lot slower and checked in with me by first name if that was the length I wanted. I appreciated her patience and customer service! I love the bangs she gave me and I have definitely something to work with in terms of styling as they grow out. Can't wait! Also, Jade showed me how to style my bangs with a blow dryer and to keep it from parting down the middle/weird angles. As for my two inch trim, I have super long and thick quarantine hair that started to get a little damaged. I want to maintain the health of my hair since its the first time in years where its not a bob, so split-ended, or dyed. I asked for a straight across trim with no layers. Jade got exactly what I wanted - she made it so straight and used thinning scissors at the end so they blend in. She's amazing. read more

I have very long hair down to my waist and needed a V-layered cut. Jade beauty studio has been around for a very long time but this was my first visit. Was recommended here by a friend and I was not disappointed. Jade did her magic and made me feel beautiful and confident again. She's very nice and quick and I like her recommendations. I love Jade so much!! I've been going to her since I was a kid and she's the only person who's ever cut my hair! Well, except for one time where I went to another salon instead, but they messed up my hair. Lol! Jade noticed the mistakes they made and was quick to fix it! Based on my personal experience, Jade is a kind lady but I don't think her skill in cutting hair is impressive like these reviews say. I came in with super long, thick hair that would past my waist to get a three to four inch trim since my usual barber wasn't available; I left the place with good length but thin and very lightweight and somewhat layered hair that I did not ask for. Maybe I should have been more clear on what I wanted but I feel that saying "a trim" is straight-forward in of itself, no? There should have been better communication on her part to have let me know exactly what she was going to do with my hair along the way. I've watched her do the same technique of cutting hair with the same thinning scissors and no actual hair cutting shears, on another woman before me (and probably used on most clients), and it didn't look too bad so I didn't think much of it or of the mechanism when it was my turn, but now I understand that it's lacking. Now I'm stuck feeling like I had hair loss at 20 something years old. They should also really change their yelp page to "cash only". Supposed hair trim was $40; and I was able to "Zelle" the payment to her. Would I go back? Most likely not. read more

At first, when I called her old shop (not knowing that it was sold) they told me she was retired. I was totally bummed!! I had been going to her for years. Then I decided to check on yelp, to see if I can find another stylist, but saw another similar business name popped up. So I decided to drop in. When I got there, I found out that this is her new shop. She's at a new location. Make sure to look for her there. I been getting my haircuts from Jade for many years now. She's very nice and personable. She listens to you. I trust her with my hair. Her price is totally reasonable. Shampoo, cut , blow dry and style for long hair is $30 dollars. I do recommend calling to make an appointment. She's pretty popular. You won't be disappointed. read more

Jade is one of the best stylists I have ever been to. And at a third the price. I highly recommend her for cuts and for color. She has done many different cuts and crazy color schemes for me over the last few years and I am never disappointed. If you are short on time you may want to rethink visiting Jade. Even with an appointment, she is often very busy. I often end up spending quite a bit of time waiting. But it is well worth it for me to walk away feeling fabulous. And yes that means she's been in business for over 30 years. That's some serious experience people. I went to get a cut at Jade's old salon thinking she still works there and they totally mess up my hair. I was so disappointed because I called in to make a appointment with her and she didn't show. So I decided to call her personal cell to ask her what had happen and to fix my hair but it came as a surprise that they were using her name to steal her clients... I had the best 20min hair wash/massage. I love the way Jade cuts my hair. I used to get my hair cut by her years ago during my teen years. I always loved my layers V shape. I've been going to Jade's since I was in middle school and that's like 14 years now. She's my go-to place for haircuts, highlights and now hair coloring. She knows style and can create a look for you to compliment your face and she can also look at a picture and match your hair to the model's. I did with my haircut before and my thick hair became very light and nicely styled and still long. My highlights from her, even red on black hair, lasted the longest! I was sad when I moved away but now that I'm back, I'm excited to have her style my hair again. You get the shampoo treatment and blow dry with no extra cost like they do at other salons. read more
