On top of that, the location had a strong unpleasant odor due to construction, they were out of salt, and the staff seemed frustrated that I was disappointed. Being told it's "spring break" doesn't feel like a valid excuse -- busy seasons should be planned for. This is now the second year in a row I've had a disappointing experience at this Hilton Head location. I expect better from a brand known for its service and consistency. The pastries were fresh, moist and memorable. Of course I had to ask the service desk who supplies them. I found out they were from The Sugaree, so I had to stop by on my way home to see what else they had on the menu. So I walk into The Sugaree and not only do they have pastries, there's a whole dining room, a full menu with breakfast bite, specialty sandwiches, fresh bread, and so much more.
