The indoor seating is modern with a casual and pleasant atmosphere, and although the patio faces a parking lot, it appeared nice and clean with a cover from the shade. The food was quite delicious, and although JINYA is a chain restaurant, the presentation reminded me of my trip to Japan. The gyoza was good, pan-fried well (none of that deep-fried stuff some places do), and the ramen was yummy with many customizable options. The only comment I would say is that the value is not completely there for me, as it was a bit expensive for non-sushi and every customizable option has a surcharge. In town for spring break, and saw this was close to our resort, so decided to give it a go, since the reviews were very positive. OMG folks, this place is legit. I work for a Japanese company, and have had ramen from Nagoya, Toronto, Chicago, San Diego...I will put this up against any of them. So good! I always go for the chashu pork, it was delicious. I can't say enough about what the owner of this property has done for this area. When you pull up you know zero expense was spared to make this place what it is. I love the decor/ ambience outside and inside. I want to come back to sit outside when the fireplace is going! The lush plants and furniture choices are spot on. So glad that we found this place for dinner tonight. There was a wait, but we were able to sit at the bar area without wait. Love watching the actions! Ro our server was very friendly and nice. We ordered 4 ramen and a gyoza. The gyoza was piping out. Then came the ramen. The Jinya tonkotsu original 2010 was so good. That egg....most places gave you half an egg. Jinya gave us one whole egg. It was soooo good! The Tonkotsu black and Jinya chicken were both excellent. I am glad that Hilton Head has a Jinya. In NJ we have a Kinya. Kinya is also very good. I was happy to hear that my husband actually really enjoyed the broth and liked the thick noodles. He couldn't imagine what it would have been like with the normal thin noodles it usually comes with.
