It's supposed to be General Tso's Chicken with broccoli. 2 pieces exactly.

2.5 Stars. I shop at the Publix in the same shopping center, so I decided to try Jade Garden. The front door was propped open, and it's clearly because there is no air conditioning. It would be way too hot to eat inside the restaurant. They still have their COVID-19 plexiglass precautions all set up, and the women working the counter behind them was very unfriendly, to the point of being rude. I ordered off of their "house special" section of the menu, and got the General Tso's Chicken. It was described as chunks of chicken sautéed with broccoli in a spicy sauce. I got home, opened the container, and actually laughed out loud. It was these fried nuggets in a greasy orange sauce, with a total of 2 pieces of broccoli. I know there were exactly 2, because they placed them right on top so you could see them. For all the greasy sauce, there was zero flavor, and zero spice. This place was a one time and never again for me.

Let's see I am always skeptical with new Chinese places. But I was craving the food so I tried it. The reviews looked ok and I ordered chicken and broccoli and sesame chicken both with steam rice. I chose to sit and eat and there was space to eat inside and it was clean they had pictures of their menu on the windows which help shade the Florida sun. The food was good was not a big fan of the chicken egg roll. The staff pretty nice and location convenient. I would recommend this place price was not that bad either. Glad I found this place on my one day visit.

I have had a hankering for Chinese food for a few weeks now and Jade Garden looked like they needed some more love on Yelp. Jade Garden is a solid 3 stars! As I write this review, it's coming from a place of having dined at many Chinese take-out places in several different states around the country. That comparison is what I base my star points on. I placed my take-out order at 6:40 PM and then took a seat to observe the scene and review the menu. It was pretty much your standard take-out restaurant atmosphere with your standard Chinese food menu. There was nothing particularly special about it that made it stand out. A couple of other customers came in and ordered some food about 5 minutes after me. Around 6:55 PM (give or take) the cashier called out some orders. Interestingly enough, the orders were for the people who came in and ordered AFTER me. I continued to sit and wait until a little after 7 before my order was complete. I found this a little off-putting. I got home with my food and it smelled delicious. I was excited to tear into it. I have to say, it wasn't too bad, but it wasn't the best. The chicken with broccoli had an excellent flavor and the veggies were cooked perfectly. I had an issue with the chicken, as I do with most Chinese take out. The texture of the chicken was off--almost a bit rubbery or chewy. The rice that came with it seemed old and not very moist. The chicken lo mein was pretty good, though not as flavorful as the first dish. The egg drop soup was totally disappointing. It was very bland and flavorless. The egg rolls were pretty standard, but also quite tasty. The portion sizes I got were outstanding. I paid $5 for the pint-size portions for each meal, but as you can see in my pictures, I received a hearty amount of food. They definitely give you your money's worth. Would I come here again? Maybe. I wouldn't miss it if I didn't... But I might if I'm just really hungry and happen to be passing by. It didn't quite settle my craving, so my quest for a regular spot shall continue on.

Came for beef lomein then I got couple flakes of ground beef and watery noodle that doesn't have any flavor. Stay away from this place . It's 10$ for nasty over priced noodle. It's a rip off. I could go to the market and buy me a bag for 6$ and do it myself

I don't order Chinese food very often, but when I do...I want it to mimic NY style Chinese food. I stopped at Jade Garden on a Monday night after finding out that most ramen places were closed and I needed to find a take-out alternative. Yelp certainly helped me with this one! I ordered an appetizer of crab rangoon, chicken lo mein with pork fried rice as well as beef & mixed veggies with white rice. I did not order ahead and stopped by around 8pm. The food was ready within about 10 minutes (as promised, which I was not expecting based on previous Chinese food restaurant estimates!). I do not think this place does delivery because it was not on their menu nor advertised on the storefront. The establishment was larger than other Chinese restaurants I've been to with seating for at least 20 people. It was clean and had clearly marked restrooms. The woman at the counter was very friendly and attentive. They got my order right and it came to just under $19. Comparable prices to other places in the area. The food was delicious. The beef and veggies reminded me of NY style Chinese food for sure and the crab rangoon was very large. All other food was tasty and did not disappoint. I would definitely return to this place...lives up to the promise of being a NY style Chinese food restaurant.

Shrimp with mixed veg. Much food for $6.

Dropped by on Christmas eve, when JG was one of a small number of open restaurants in the area. My shrimp with mixed veg ($6) was tasty and healthy (minimal oil), but the veg were rather overcooked. I'd return to give them another chance...

This is their "diet" shrimp and vegetables. It just means they don't add sauce. Also the small was pretty big!

Happiness is a warm embracing chili oil aura eminating from your body. I asked an Asian Foodie…read moregroup for the best places to go and Bejing House was one reply by many. I waited until I was in the area and tried it. I was so impressed that I made a 2nd visit before I made this review. Located in a strip mall west of 275 on Fletcher, the menu is impressive. Once I disvovered, over 20 years ago, the treasure trove of authentic chinese dishes available at many chinese food places. I seldom order the cookie cutter American versions so many people find familiar. This place has Sichuan and Northern Chinese food. The ambiance is perfect, never too loud. The wait staff are young and pleasant. Very helpful and attentive. Plenty of free parking. My first visit blessed me with two cravable dishes that frolic in my mind joyously. The Handmade Noodles w/ Ginger & Scallìon and the Shrimp Rolls. The noodles made fresh every morning were luxurious on the palate, soft and silky with a perfect amount of heat from the chili oil and a subtle fragrant flavor that wooed the senses. The small crispy Shrimp Rolls bursting with delectable flavors was so enticing. I could devour those non-stop. I also had the Tea Smoked Duck and that is the only item I did not relate to. A bowl of seasoning is provided for you to dip your duck pieces as you ate. The duck alone had no appealing flavor. The flavor came as you dip the duck in the 5 spice. The issue was each bite tasted different, too little spice, too much spice and at times the perfect amount. I would much prefer for it to come flavored and spice by a pro in the kitchen so every bite was good. I tried a Choya Plum wine that was pleasant. My 2nd visit began with Sichuan Crispy Chili Wings. Delightful flavor, tossed with chili's, garlic and cilantro in a spicy sauce. An enjoyable amount of heat, covered in that tasty piquant and crispy sauce. The kicker was the addition of a few chunks of fried potatoes also covered in sauce. My sides were some low mein noodles and an amazing string bean dish stir fried with crispy garlic, minced pork and a chili sauce. A must try item. Again, a dish with spicy heat at a perfect pitch. The main attraction came in a small wok over a lit burner and is Griddle Fish. The same dish is also available in about 10 other protein choices. A fabulous dish that had wonderful textures and flavors. The fish however was mushy inside. Likely made with Swai or Tilapia which I detest since they live their lives in excrement. My fault for not thinking before I ordered since I had so many other choices. Delicious if you can get past the inferior fish quality. The desserts were marvelous. Cream Brulee Cheesecake and Yuzu Beignets. Rich and delectable. Beautifully balanced sweetness factor. Wife loved them! Cravable food is everywhere due to the chemicals fast food places use to trick your brain at the expense of your health. To find food you crave because of cooking mastery and the genius blend of the food, herbs and spices...well that is special. This is a special place. COME GET YA SOME!!

Even when it was brought to the table- the food looks good and promising! I was sat right next to the kitchen and to my astonishment, everyone in the kitchen was speaking Spanish!! Nothing against Spanish cooks, but if I'm coming for AUTHENTIC CHINESE FOOD, I want to know that there's someone back there who grew up eating the food they are preparing! With that being said, you can absolutely taste the Spanish influence! I have NEVER had fried rice that is covered in CILANTRO!! What?! The fried rice tasted like Spanish rice. We also ordered the General Tso chicken NOT SPICY. I heard the cook tell our waiter, "you gave them them the wrong one, you gave them the spicy one, did they say anything about it?" My white rice also had a dead bug in it!!! We didn't say anything because we already knew we would not be coming back here. So we just paid for our $83 bill and left, unsatisfied.. and went straight to Dairy Queen for chicken tenders Very disappointed as I had high hopes for a good Chinese restaurant.
