Been 3 times. (To this location) the problem is... they have the food pre cooked then cook it AGAIN so they can serve you fast. This results in hard rubbery chicken over cooked spareribs ( both almost unconsumable ) sadly they can't even cook the rice correctly. It's a shame really because the prices are competitive. read more

I ordered and it turned out to be a rain, rainy day, which I can totally understand delays things somewhat. However, my food took one hour and 40 minutes to be delivered, and when it was dropped off, no one alerted me, so it sat on my porch for another five minutes until I checked Fortunately it was still warm, so I doubt it had anything to do with the delivery driver. My food was likewise disappointing. The egg rolls were really undercooked, and the entrees under seasoned and overcooked. I won't be ordering again. read more

I have been ordering from this place for a long time and we normally love it. Today I ordered my usual Kung Pao chicken and it was not what I normally get. The chicken was not cooked the same way. It was not spicy at all and the chicken was coated just like the orange chicken is. I did not enjoy it a bit. Of course I called and let them know. also asked if they have switched cooks. For a hole in the wall Chinese restaurant in a strip mall, I was impressed. The unassuming exterior and interior gave me pause, and I was skeptical about how well they would execute their large menu of 100+ items. Along with my visiting relatives, we ordered 5 dishes which came out to about $70 when including soft drinks and tax. We came absolutely no where close to finishing the food, which eventually stretched to about 15 meals. My Schezuan shredded pork hit the spot. Usually this style of cheap Chinese food has me feeling a little queasy afterwards but I felt great; this is not gourmet food, but it is a step up from other equivalent order-from-a-counter Chinese restaurants. The dinner combo came with an egg roll and pork fried rice. I also tried the orange chicken, beef with broccoli, and General Tso's tofu. All winners! The guy at the counter was helpful both in providing recommendations and getting our group settled. Overall, if looking for quick and cheap Chinese, China Wok is above average in quality, quantity, and value. read more

We have visited this location a few times and it is excellent! Everyone at the counter and preparing food were courteous and cheerful. The shop is brightly lit and the front and back of the house are well kept and clean. We have tried several dishes here and each one has been a delight. The Szechuan Shredded Beef, while not the spiciest version of the dish we have tasted, had a wonderful flavor and was very satisfying. We also enjoyed the Mixed Egg Drop and Won Ton soup. The soothing texture of the soup against the savory pork-filled won tons worked well. The food quality overall is excellent. The kitchen uses several different cuts of vegetables depending on the dish. This small detail makes this takeout spot stand above others because it gives each dish a pleasing textural difference and demonstrates the affection and care the staff have for the food. We ordered an array of things since it was our first time trying and a bit of a drive, farther than we would normally drive for take out. Let's start with the orange chicken. We also ordered the hunan double, it came with beef and shrimp and lots of veggies with a side of steamed white rice. The shrimp were huge, and the rest of the dish had great flavor. We agreed that, the dish had the most veggies we had ever seen coming from a Chinese take out. I LOVE pork lo mein and have high standards when it comes to this dish! It didn't disappoint. LOTS of pork with the perfect amount of veggies. We ordered the large and it came in a full size to go container, packed to the rim! We ordered pork egg rolls and they were crispy on the outside and the veggies were crispy in the inside. The wrapper wasn't soggy on the inside, they know what they are doing when it comes to frying eggrolls! Last but not least, the wonton soup! The broth had a lot of flavor with a bit of zing to it. I think they may have used spicy pork for the inside of the won ton! Delicious! Give this place a try! It's great! I've tried almost every small owned Chinese joint in Town and Country, and Oldsmar. First off for a family owned NY style Chinese restaurant it is by far the cleanest and nicest in the area and for those that frequent these style of restaurants you know what I'm talking about. I get the honey chicken every Friday. The owners/cooks are very polite and will accommodate for what you'd like. I don't write reviews on here about ever, but I truly enjoy this place. I will have to try more items on the menu. read more
