I will just say that since I have stopped here numerous times prior due to being a Dasher, I had to try it as well. Currently, I am trying chicken again after not eating it for 10-11 years due to a diet change for some reasons that I won't go into. I was only craving comfort foods and wanted Chinese. I ordered the Orange Chicken which comes with white rice and it comes with actual orange peels in the sauce which is how you know it's a true orange chicken dish. I was also surprised that there are 0 reviews about their orange chicken so here you go! The only thing I will warn you about, well maybe 2 things. 1. They are a family owned restaurant and the food is made to order so it does take some time especially when they are backed up on orders. Be patient! 2. Parking. They share a lot with a pizza shop and I usually park far so I can just pull up and not have to worry about parking at an angle and backing up, the annoyance. I wish parking was better but at least there is parking unlike other places. Did I mention that they are family owned!? That should be the bonus to this place as you know that they work hard to get orders out and that's why you must be patient! It is worth the wait! Also, there is 1 table inside but I never really see anyone eat there besides this older gentleman that was there that ordered soup and something else (it looks so familiar but I can't think of the name). The price is beyond reasonable so don't hesitate when ordering. It's best to order on their actual website for a pickup order instead of ordering it via Yelp. I noticed a $3 difference.

I checked photos on Yelp and the only real item that looked reasonably good was the Mongolian Beef. The Hunan chicken looked decent too, but I could eat both, so beef it was! Have to say, that was a good choice. It was tender, saucy, and had the right vegetables that worked well with this. The most solid item that looked authentic. So food was good. Picking up the food was simple enough. Give them my name, pay for the food, and then go. Restaurant looked pretty small, but due to the weather, place was not packed at all. Support your local Chinese restaurant by the way! Overall, it's good enough for American Chinese food. Next time I'm visiting and staying 1 minute away from Sesame Garden, I'm going to get the Hunan Chicken. Looking forward to it!

Jade Grille is a true gem among Chinese restaurants. Unlike most, Jade Grille serves authentic Szechuan Cuisine, which is a real treat for anyone looking for a taste of true Chinese flavors. The Szechuan dishes are particularly delicious and authentic, and the American Chinese favorites are equally satisfying. The restaurant also serves sushi, which is a nice addition to the menu. One of the things that sets Jade Grille apart is the quality of its food. All of their dishes are excellent, with fresh ingredients and bold flavors that will delight your taste buds. But don't just stick to the American menu. Definitely try the authentic selections, such as the Mala Crispy Style, which is one of my favorites. Just be warned, it is spicy. But if you can handle the heat, it's absolutely worth it. Jade Grille is an excellent restaurant that offers authentic Szechuan cuisine, American Chinese favorites and sushi. If you're looking for a delicious Chinese meal, with great service, Jade Grille is definitely worth a visit. Don't miss to try their Mala Crispy Style, one of my personal favorites. I ordered a Philadelphia roll, spicy tuna roll, crab Rangoon, and some lo mein. I did not think the Sushi was all that great, I have even had better at some buffets. The lo mein was very good, and I am hard to please in the lo mein department. The noodles were a bit thicker than what I am used to, but it was a pleasant difference... almost as if they were made from scratch. The flavor was probably better than most I have had around Pittsburgh too. The crab Rangoon was also very good... there was more of the yummy, creamy filling in it than what other places give! I probably won't be ordering their sushi again but I definitely want to sample some more of the Chinese foods on their menu! read more

Jade Grille is great. The Asparagus Triple Delicacy come on a sizzling hot plate with chicken, beef, shrimp sautéed with asparagus in a brown garlic sauce. I also recommend dumplings and the sushi is the best sushi I've tasted in the Pittsburgh area. If your looking for a high end dish I recommend the Hawaii Five "O" which is jumbo shrimp,scallops,chicken,beef and chunks of lobster with assorted vegetables in chefs brown sauce.
