Easily the best AYCE sushi in Pittsburgh. Not even up for debate I was hesitant on going here for awhile because Google and Yelp do this place DIRTY but always make sure to ACTUALLY read the reviews. Most of the low ones are 5+ years old and then people bitching about taking too long to get food when it's either packed or ordered at a table of 5 I got: Yellowtail Tuna roll Rainbow x2 Dragon Spicy 2 Snow White x2 Phoenix Orange dragon Seaweed salad AYCE quality is what it is. It's not the reason you go. But some places like Sushi Bomb manage to make the quality even worse which is even more impressive. Not happening here WHAT WAS THE REAL FUCKING WINNER is how packed these rolls were. That's always a problem with these spots. The ratio of rice to fish is terrible but these were perfect Absolutely will be returning for my AYCE Sushi fix and it will be HARD to get me to go somewhere else PS: The AYCE menu is different from the online order so not all special rolls are listed.

Sweetheart sushi ! So cute for our anniversary, was not expecting little hearts. Love!

Highly recommend this place if you're looking for some yummy sushi! Beyond the sushi, as soon as you walk in you're met with beautiful traditional Chinese artworks in a softly lit and roomy layout. The workers are very warm and welcoming and happy to help you with any and every question you may have. And finally the food. The food was absolutely delicious. So fresh and presented beautifully, and all at a very affordable price! Will be making this a regular spot for sure. :)

Probably the best AYCE sushi experience in Pittsburgh, but even then, I wouldn't necessarily recommend. Pros: *Unlike other AYCE establishments, Katana's rolls and nigiri are NOT accompanied by a ridiculous amount of rice. *You can order sashimi (max 15 of each type of fish) so you can save yourself a bunch of rice. *Seaweed salad is pretty good, though slightly sweet. *Friendly and attentive service. Cons: *Rolls aren't particularly tasty. They all taste like variations on supermarket spicy tuna. We ordered 5 rolls total and couldn't taste a difference between three of them. *The sashimi is thin and while the fish seems fresh enough, it isn't very good.

Good sushi but nothing too outstanding. Took a long time to get delivered, too. I did really enjoy the spicy shrimp roll I don't see that many other places.

We got there at 4:40 on a Saturday and they open at 5. I'd say that's a good sweet spot although there was already a decent line when we got there so I'm sure it just depends! Such a simple dish but I could eat a VAT of that Roti app once a week for the rest of my life and be better for it LOL. It's seriously so good I crave it constantly. I tried out the lemongrass meatballs this time. They were SO GOOD. Normally I need a thick sauce with a meatball idk it's just who I am. These needed absolutely nothing. They were the perfect texture and I loved the crispy shallots. I've actually never had Khao Soi and man I have been missing out! The meat was seriously so tender I could not get over it. The flavors were perfectly married it was a great dish. The crispy shrimp was also amazing the pieces were massive and the SAUCE (lol) was so good. Pusadee's knows what they're doing. There is a reason why they're always so busy and I'm happy we have a place like this in the burgh!

The food was very good. The meatballs were dense and flavorful, and I loved the crispy shallots that came with them. Everything had such a great balance of flavors, and the portion sizes were really generous. The employees were a little lackluster, but honestly, the food and the aesthetics of the interior more than made up for that. Overall, I'd definitely come back!

I wouldn't really call this a supper club to be honest but the place definitely carries a house music bar vibe and the back bar area and seating is very dimly lit, perfect for cozying up and enjoying a drink late night. The ladies' room was so dark, I mistook it for a storage area because I could only make out a white ladder in the corner that was being used as cute shelving. The place is seat yourself. Our waiter was not super friendly and didn't offer to give us napkins or anything when our wobbly table caused our drinks to splash all over the place. The cook served our chicken with a big smile and happy interaction and we really loved his personality. The bartender also stopped by to bus our table and he was very pleasant as well. We enjoyed the perfectly fried small plate cauliflower with the plum sauce and the fried cheese/garlic wonton bites with the sriracha mayo spicy dipping sauce. The fried chicken breast on the large plate was slightly overcooked with a maple gochuchang sauce that was very bland. We were so thankful that the large plate fried chicken came with a side salad to offer some respite from the heaviness of the fried dishes. It would have been great to have some side acidic or fresh vegetable options like Kimchi or something. Maybe we tried the wrong dishes and there are other not fried things that are delicious? The dirty martini cocktail was just so-so, not really much flavor at all, but the mojito was very good and refreshing. It's probably a good late-night place for a bite and drink.

For our most recent visit, here are my ratings for what we ate: Sushi and Sashimi for 2 - 5 stars - This gorgeous sushi boat contained 10 pieces of chef's choice sushi, 18 pieces of chef's choice sashimi, and 2 rolls--Dragon Roll (eel, cucumber, and avocado) and Volcano Roll (batter-fried mixed fish and avocado with house-special sauce and tobiko/roe). They all tasted delicious. Hibachi Steak - 5 stars - The steak was juicy and flavorful, and it came with fried rice, soup, salad, and two pieces of shrimp. Pad Thai - 5 stars - The rice noodles were cooked well, and I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce and my choice of protein of chicken.

The ginger dressing was very light and zesty and not so much peanut-flavored like you typically get. The miso soup was very rich and savory. As for the entrée, the Bento box had the red curry chicken with vegetables, spring roll with plum sauce, rice, and some sushi. Everything in the box was fresh, quality ingredients. I especially liked the crispy spring roll (not greasy and had great flavor). The sushi didn't miss either. For the red curry, was milder than I was expecting and would have liked a little more pepper spice to it. But it was still pretty good. The hot tea I ordered didn't taste like typical hot tea; something almost earthy and nutty about it, but it was delicious. The people working at the restaurant were gracious and speedy with the service (it's a family business which is always good to see). I'd love to come again next time I'm up here and try more sushi dishes. Great place!
