Would be a ZERO star if possible. I'm not particularly big on writing reviews, but here we are. Yesterday, I went in for a spa pedicure and basic manicure. I was asked what color nail polish I wanted for my manicure, and I said, none. I explained that I work with my hands in my shop, and the polish doesn't last (even gel). The technician asked me if I wanted them buffed "really shiny" instead. I said, no thank you. As she was about mid-manicure, she asked again, "Want me to buff shiny for you?" Again, I said no, I just want the regular buffer." I declined this "shiny buffing" because I know the salons charge extra for everything, and I didn't want to pay extra for the shiny buffing. If I wanted my nails shiny, I could've just gotten clear nail polish for free with my service. She and I continued our conversation. She was asking what I did in my shop, etc. Small talk. Well, it came time to buff my nails, and I noticed that after using the regular orange buffer, she grabbed a white one and started going to town on my thumb, and it was becoming very shiny. I stopped her and said, I do not want to pay extra for shiny nails. The regular buffer is good. She told me, "It's ok, this is regular." I said again, clearly, I'm not paying extra for this." She said, "It's ok." Well, YOU GUESSED IT! I went to check out and lo and behold, there was an added $6 charge to my manicure service for ... the buffing service. I explained to the person at the counter that I would not be paying the extra $6 and that I had said NO to that service several times. The person at the counter told me, "Oh, sorry, it's because she doesn't speak English very well." The person at the counter was extremely insistent that I pay the $6 extra. After going back and fourth I made it clear I am not paying for a service that I specifically declined. He eventually gave in and took the $6 off. This is such a bad business practice to impose services on customers who literally declined said service, then try to sneak it into the customer's bill. It made me wonder how many people have they done this to who didn't ask "what the extra fee was for" or didn't know they were secretly being billed. How many people have they taken advantage of like this, or the people who are non-confrontational and won't stand up for themselves, so they just pay it...? It's really disgusting to be honest, and to play the "She doesn't speak English" card was utter NONSENSE! read more

I've been a loyal customer for 6 years spending $200 each time I'm there. They are price gouging at this point. They charged me $59 for a fill because I had 1 broken nail. They stated the new fill price is $53 dollars!! Mind you this is not some kind of luxury high end spa. Long story short I'm not spending $70 (with tip) for a fill. First, they did the gel nails wrong and a piece came off only after a week. I went back for them to take it all off and Linda massacred my nails, all raggedly, took chunks out and filed it with a way too high a grit emery board, so now I have to trim them all short, and they had the nerve to charge me TEN BUCKS for that! I brought my 2-year-old daughter with me to this salon hoping to have a simple mom-and-daughter outing. When we walked in, I politely asked how long the wait would be since I had a toddler with me. Instead of answering, they just told me to sign in and ignored the question. I was eventually seated for a pedicure and my daughter sat calmly on my lap. She quietly put her feet in the water with me. When she moved her foot, a few drops of water splashed onto the floor -- nothing excessive and certainly nothing disruptive. What happened next was shocking. The nail technician grabbed my daughter by the foot and told her not to splash. I calmly but firmly told her not to touch my child and that I would handle it. I also offered to clean the small amount of water on the floor myself. Instead of handling the situation professionally, they immediately asked us to leave. I remained calm because I was standing there with my daughter, but I was honestly furious. My toddler had done nothing wrong, and no one -- especially a stranger -- should ever feel comfortable putting their hands on someone else's child. To make matters worse, this isn't even the first disappointing experience I've had here. The service and quality of the nails have never been great, but I tried to give them another chance. That was my mistake. I will never return, and I strongly recommend others spend their money somewhere else. There are far better salons in Lake Elsinore that understand basic professionalism and respect -- especially when it comes to children. read more

normally don't leave reviews, but my experience here was honestly upsetting. I came in for a pedicure about a month ago, and from the start, the technician was extremely rough. I had a sensitive spot (like a blister) on the bottom of my foot, and I told her multiple times that it hurt. Instead of being more careful, she kept going over the same area, and it genuinely felt like she was ignoring me. At one point, she even laughed, which made the situation feel worse. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a language barrier, but even the customers next to me were noticing and getting uncomfortable for me. After asking several times for her to be more gentle with no change, I finally requested a different technician. That's when things became even more uncomfortable. There was clearly discussion about me among the staff in another language, and it didn't feel professional at all. To make matters worse, over a month later I'm now dealing with a fungal infection on my big toe -- something I have never experienced in all my years of getting pedicures elsewhere. Coincidence? I hate writing reviews like this, but I feel it's important for others to be aware. A basic level of care, cleanliness, and respect for a client's comfort should always be a priority. read more

Went in for a pedi and immediately regretted it. A pedicure should be a relaxing experience and I didn't even get to enjoy it because I kept having to tell the lady how to do my pedicure, everything was half done at best. I probably could have done a better job at home. The nail tech was a Nice lady, I hate that I even had to say anything, it put me in the most uncomfortable position, but it was that bad. I think you better watch the prices of what services you're getting. I think they are sneaky and will add things you don't want. I didn't want gel on my white tip and when I checked out she told me $47 instead of $42. I told her I didn't want it but let it go. When I paid her she almost didn't give me my change back. I was waiting for my $10 but good that I said something. I feel like they play dumb here. I already had a first bad experience and I didn't want to come back but I keep getting gift certificates here. Make sure you do the math before you pay. Also if you're getting the most basic pedicure which is $28 in my case $32 because I wanted flowers your heels will not get scrubbed. read more

I sent my daughters to get manicures this afternoon to a nail salon none of us had ever been to before but it is the closest nail salon to our house. They asked for the $20 manicure (price found online), and they were told they don't offer it, and wouldn't honor that price. They were up-charged to $25 each for a terrible manicure any one of us could have done ourselves. Cuticles were not trimmed, nails were not filed or evened out, and nail polish looks like it was applied in a thick glob on some nails, and not covering the entire nail on others. The nail tech was extremely rude to them and asked if they would be leaving a tip. My daughter graciously left her $20 ($10 for each of them), which is way more than I would have left for the level of service that was actually received, and the nail tech responded with "that's it?". We will not be returning. This is not how a business should be treating their customers. $71 total, for manicures that looks like they were done by a 10 year old. read more

I've been going to Jade Nails for a long time, but unfortunately, the customer service has gone downhill. I went in for a pedicure and had my eyebrows and mustache waxed. The employees did a great job with the services, but when it was time to pay, I mentioned that I had received a text offering 10% off. The employee refused to honor it unless I could show the message, which was frustrating. This place used to have great customer service, but something has changed. The owners don't seem to care about their business anymore--they're never there, and even when you make an appointment, it has to be on their terms. They also tend to overcharge, so be cautious when paying. On top of that, their nail polish is sometimes old, which affects the quality of the manicure. That's not how a business should be run. I paid $70 (tip not included) for dip removal and this dip french tip. I tried to say a couple things during the process but it wasn't received. The tips themselves are very crooked and thick which looks even more crooked given you can see the entire nail underneath. Also red stains and smears from previous job that was not properly removed. Very disappointed. The gel pedicure turned out very nice though so I'll give them that! read more

My mom treated me to a birthday pedicure and this was the nearest place , the front may not look super fancy but once i walked in i loved the ambiance and vibe was good :) I got a pedicure in massage chair and the girl that did my pedi was super sweet and did a nice job. Been here before and for the same nails which are simple and short mo design they charged $55, then an extra $3 to use a card! This is ridiculous pricing and will not be going back especially with no cleaning the glue left on fingers. They constantly forget to tell you the correct amount for the services. I had an acrylic overlay done and now looks like the nail has a huge bubble on It and It looks horrible but I leave for vacation in the morning so nothing I can do about It now. Kept telling her I wasn't happy with It and she got irritated like I didn't know what I was talking about. Very unprofessional. I have been here four times now and the first two were ok but the last two were horrible. They also charge $2 to use your card but have you stand around waiting for them to call the owner to make sure the Zelle payment went thru maybe I should charge them for my time. I do enjoy coming here, and typically always get excellent service with Julia, as she knows me and knows how I like my nails done. However I will say their pedicure menu is pretty expensive! I prefer a good massage, and pumice stone scrub over all the extra cost of hot oils, sugar scrubs, paraffin wax etc; If they want to charge $30 for a basic pedicure and $15 extra for gel polish, I would think the time spent on my feet would be a little longer. He barely used the pumice stone on the bottom of my feet, and I look forward to that scrub. I was kind of disappointed. I come in to relax and expect some TLC for this service. Especially at those prices! I guess it all depends on the technician you get.. overall, I'm satisfied, not thrilled. I wish the service matched the price, and sometimes it doesn't. read more
