I chose my color and turned around to find that my seat was already being prepared by the gentleman who performed the service. He was kind and attentive and did a great job. Kelly and Tom were so conscientious with COVID. They took our temperatures and required us to use hand sanitizer upon our arrival. There were sturdy plexiglass shields in front of every manicure table and pedicure chair. They also are only taking appointments so remember to call ahead! We had a group of 4, and Kelly made sure that our group was the only person in the place during our time slot. In addition to this, my acrylic fill was perfect. Kelly was quick and efficient, but did not rush my nails. I am very picky, and she made sure to take the acrylic all the way back and I just love how they turned out! When I walked in, I was greeted nicely by Kelly and Tom. Kelly did my dip manicure and took her time, which I appreciate since most nail salons I have been to rush. I went here a few times . Constantly got charged by the length and shape of my nail . For coffin shape I would get charged $5 extra every time . Even for a fill . A full set? Okay because I understand getting the shape but for a fill ? No . I got my nails done on a Friday and by that Monday i already had 3 nails break . Kelly and her husband run a friendly and clean establishment. She does a good job with my dipping nails which last for MORE than two weeks. Her husband does a to-die-for pedicure. He keeps my feet in excellent summer shape. We are a medical family and are are so impressed with how they have adapted to the restrictions of COVID 19. THEY ARE CAREFUL! Clean and welcoming! Kelly is excellent - always gentle and precise. The man is pretty great with foot and leg massage and does a great job with my toes. Kelly makes my nails look fabulous and the gel always lasts 2 weeks and mostly 3. The colors are lovely and the price is right. I have been to every salon in Severna Park and this one is my favorite. They keep it simple and never upsell or pressure me into anything. My needs are simple. Whats not to love. This salon is also great with kids and teens. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. As soon as I walked in I wanted to turn around but a friend brought me with her. The selection of Gel Colors were terrible, they only had a few, none of which I liked. Besides that, the man dug into my toes so hard and when I asked him to do it less he didn't listen and kept going. There was a whole section he missed on my big toe nail and it was awful. Then for my finger nails the bottom looked chipped but it was just an awful paint job! Two days later my toes and finger nails got infected from dirty tools. There is no other explanation. This place was awful and I advise you to never go here! On top of ALL that it was extremely over priced! Do not pay that much money for awful nails and service and infections. read more
