THE BEST SALON I'VE EVER BEEN TO!! A friend of mine recommended going to Jade Salon, and now I know why. She had mentioned how they only used organic hair care products and the stylists were amazing. She is 100% spot on. Over the last few years I have been to over 6 salons, and could not find someone that really blew me away. I always left those salons feeling like I had spent a ridiculous amount of money only to be unsatisfied with either the cut, coloring, attitude of the staff, etc. So if you've been in a similar position you seriously need to consider going to Jade Salon! -- The salon is small enough to give a warm intimate feeling, but big enough for several stylists to work comfortably. -- The cost is the same as most salons in the area, but you end up getting a way better look! -- If you're a Blonde like me, SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT NOW. After the owner did a set of full highlights, cut, and blowdry/style, I felt like a model. I could not believe how amazing the color looked.. She cut layers in, unlike any other stylist I've had, and actually made my normally fine hair seem voluminous and bouncy. Could not have been happier with the results! -- The ambiance in the salon brought me to a whole nother level of happiness. As soon as I walked in the door, the owner Cherise started talking to me like she'd known me for years. I hadn't even said my name yet but I was being greeted, offered a hot tea, etc. Throughout the appointment we each shared very intimate details of our lives to one another (which most people do with stylists..they're the therapists of the beauty world), but there was something very different about this woman. She has such a passion for life and making others happy, and you will see that within seconds of meeting her. -- While I sat with my foils in, she had me dip my hands in the paraffin wax. While the wax was hardening she called one of the girls over to give me a hot stone massage over my neck and shoulders. I felt like I was in heaven!! The wax treatments are designed to help moisturize your skin, especially during such cold/dry periods like we've had.. and it definitely did help! After I peeled it off, I returned to sipping my hot tea and making friends with all of the pleasant women coming in and out of the salon. -- Not only was Cherise concerned with my hair health, after talking for a good while she began suggesting different holistic practices I might want to consider. Not in a pushy manner, just simply offering her knowledge from her own experiences to me. **You have to try this place, even if it's just for a hair cut! I am a Holistic Health Coach, so using the safest and most natural things for my body is something very important to me. I was in need of a new hair salon and a friend recommended Jade. I went on their website and was immediately drawn in by everything they had to offer including organic color! I had never seen this offered before, so I was absolutely interested in trying. I called and made an appointment with the owner, Cherise. From the moment I walked in I knew I was going to love Jade!! The atmosphere and energy were amazing right from the start and then I started talking to Cherise :) She is wonderful! As a Health Coach, my first consultation with a client is always a session to get to know them and their health. When I sat in Cherise's chair I felt like I was getting a full hair consultation just like I'd give someone for their health. This was new to me and I so appreciated it! She asked me questions that no other hair salon had ever asked or seemed to care about. Cherise got to know me, my routine, what I liked/disliked about my hair etc. She took the time to fully understand me and what I was looking for, which was different and so refreshing! I was looking for a change and I'd asked at my other salon for suggestions and really not gotten anything in response. Cherise whipped out her iPad and found some ideas for me. She told me what her ideas were and why and I said go with it because I trusted her judgement right away! I was so glad I did because I absolutely love my new cut/style and received an amazing amount of compliments. Besides the style of my hair the color worked amazingly well! I used to notice grey hair again within two weeks and I would already be wanting another color. The color that Jade uses is fantastic! It stayed in my hair so much better and longer!! Instead of at two weeks wanting a color again, it was at least triple that amount of time after Cherise did my hair. Once I learn how to add my photo, I may get a lot of very helpful hits, I HOPE! I went to Jade Organic and had the best experience. I told the owner Cherise I wanted my hair a cherry coke color and I left there very happy with cherry coke hair! A woman waiting to have her hair done after me decided she wanted the same color. Another great experience at Jade Organic! You can go in and ask for a flavor hair color and that's exactly what you get. The price is worth it - you get what you pay for. Reasonable for an upscale salon and service. Treated like I was the only one there! She also did my brows to match for free! So many compliments at work the next day at work. Very laid back and calming surrounding, never have anxiety about sitting in the chair having my hair done when I'm there because I know I will always leave happy. 5 gold stars! Although another review may have had a bad experience - sometimes a bad haircut to begin with is not as easy to repair as expected. You only have so much to work without making it worse while trying to please an already frustrated and upset customer walking into your salon as a new client. I agree only fair to pay one price, maybe something could have been worked out with the owner next time and cut through the middle man. Just a suggestion. I would only pay once as well. I woke up this morning and decided time for a change with my long curly/wavey and very thick out of control hair. As far as I am concerned Jade organic salon is the only place to go. I've been using Charise for a few years now, but have not had time lately to get in to see her. Hence the out of control hair. Hoping they had a cancelation I called. Charise was booked so I met with Natalie. Now that I have seen them both, I can say they are both perfectionists and master of their unique art forms. Unlike any other salon in have been to Jade takes many things into consideration before cutting. The shape of your head, face and features. Even the shape of your glasses if you wear them. I feel that it is not all just about the money. They truly want their clients to have the best experience possible and to walk out with exactly what was requested. I went in looking for a big fun change . My natural is a very dark black. I wanted a peekaboo Bob with color underneath. Discussed with Natalie the right color and left it here hands. So glad I did. I discovered Jade Organics a few months ago after frustration with inconsistent, blotchy hair coloring, dry damaged hair and itchy, dry scalp. My previous experience leaving a salon was smelling as if I was dipped in toxic chemicals, weeks of dry itchy peeling scalp for weeks after a color and paying much to much for the process. I was never satisified. My first experience at Jade I was accompanied with a warm welcome by the vivacious owner, Cherise. Cherise knows her stuff when it comes to color and healthy hair, not to mention a host of other homeopathic treatments-- and she has a generous spirit to get you in the know! Cherise took my calico over-process brassy chemical induced hair and transformed my head into warm blondes tone with lovely tone and healthy glow. After my treatment my scalf did not itch and since my last 3 initial visits, the dry itchy scalf has not return. My hair feels great! I still have sticker shock after a salon visit although the product is superior to my previous experiences. Be prepared for an extended visit-- it is never a quick visit. I have followed Cherise to her new salon, Jade Organic Salon. When I got my first cut by Cherise, I felt as if she was releasing the real me. I get lots of compliments, even weeks after a cut. We have started to do 'lowlights", using Jade's natural, organic hair color line, and the result is a more youthful look that looks very natural. I've been a customer of Jade Organic Salon for a few years now and I'm so happy that I found them! I have several skin allergies and very sensitive skin so I was feeling really hopeless about hair coloring options that would give me the look I wanted, without destroying my hair or causing a reaction. This is the best salon I've ever gone to. I care about what I eat, organics, no GMO's, no processed foods. However, for years I've had my hair highlighted with chemicals. I decided to try this salon and I'm so glad I did. After a consultation, I decided to have a one step color applied to my hair. Since my hair is long and has years of highlights, it was dull and brassy with many different colors. Now my hair is close to my natural color but still has gentle highlights. It is so soft and shiny. I'm thrilled. I had one stubborn area on my scalp that was always flaking - it's now gone. I love the atmosphere here. Everyone is made to feel welcomed. Natalie was my hairstylist. She was polite, professional, and patient. I came in for a cut. I couldn't be happier. The smell of organic fragrance permeates the salon, not in a bad way. It smells wonderfully relaxing. It's refreshing to feel welcomed and well taken care of. The lady who washed my hair was phenomenal. The owner was kindly welcoming. This is the type of salon you could go to with your girlfriend's, drink wine, and feel at home. There's a comfortable factor making you feel right at home. My entire experience was amazing and Cherise is incredible! I am 43 and have never had my hair colored because I was afraid of the chemicals and what they would do to my hair and sensitive skin. The salon atmosphere was wonderful! There was no chemical odor in the salon, and that was with 4 of us getting color at the same time. Don't miss trying the salon's Biomat! There's a beautiful dedicated room with a massage table featuring the Biomat, which is a mat filled with healing amethyst crystals and heated with far-infrared heat (the healthy kind used in saunas). I had been feeling run down a week after having a head cold, and after 30 mins on the Biomat, I woke up the next morning feeling great, with my energy renewed. I felt so good I went back the next day for a second session, and brought my husband for his own session to help him get over his cold. It's worth trying! read more

I especially appreciate the organic hair coloring as I had a lung transplant several years ago and want to be very careful about what chemicals I am exposed to. Have been going to Jade for over a year now and really like my hair color and cut. Cherise is very talented with both color and cutting. The organic process is different than your typical salon which quickly slaps on the chemicals, at Jade there are a few steps to the coloring process, which takes a bit more time but is definitely worth it as your hair looks and feels healthier.
