First visit was super easy, most paperwork is filled out ahead of your visit and even with the additional consultation, I was in and out in 40 minutes. The entire "facial" was actually only about 15 minutes. Having a dermatologist who has recommended Morpheus, I figured this would be a great alternative to the $4,000 outlay that would cost me! They promise results by the 3rd or 4th visit, so look forward to seeing those! I have some hyperpigmentation, occasionally breakouts of cystic acne (I'm too old for that) and my pores seem to be growing: all things they promise to help you with. Buy a membership and you get 3 services a month for $250, which considering the services for non-members is more than that, is a great deal! You have to commit to a minimum of 3 months, after which they go to month to month and allow you to cancel at any time. The entire staff is really great as well! From the moment I stepped in, I was met with an attitude that lasted until I left. The receptionist was incredibly rude and unprofessional. They provided me with incorrect information when booking my appointment, and they were visibly upset that I arrived five minutes late, even though technically, I wasn't late. They gave me inaccurate information. The entire experience was incredibly stressful and unprofessional. I would never return to this establishment and would not recommend it to anyone. I wanted to love Skin Laundry, but Studio City left me feeling dismissed and disrespected -- especially when it came to basic customer service and empathy. Let me be clear: this review is not about the laser treatments themselves. My issue is with how I was treated by the management -- specifically by Ashley, the manager -- and how poorly my situation was handled. Like many women, I go to places like Skin Laundry not just for skincare, but as part of my self-care routine -- to feel good in my own skin, confident, and taken care of. Instead, I left feeling gaslit and deeply uncomfortable. I had been a loyal customer at the Topanga location, purchasing multiple 5-treatment packs and consistently paying premium rates above what Studio ity charges. I stopped in March after Topange ceased using gel for the treatments and burned my face with a double intensity laser treatment. My skin was just feeling better in July, so when the Studio City SL ad popped up on instagram I clicked. When I visited the Studio City location, they outright questioned the validity of my purchases and insinuated that I was lying -- even after I showed them receipts and proof from my Amex account. My account showed higher prices and tips processed days later as a separate charge, where as Studio city charged a lot less and combined everything. I was simply trying to get clarity and resolve a discrepancy in their policies versus Topanga, but I was met with passive aggression and a complete lack of professionalism. I was looking to feel great on the outside and instead they made me feel like crap. Things escalated to the point where I canceled my membership on July 23, 2025, and formally requested a refund. That refund still has not been processed, and I've now had to involve my credit card company to dispute the charges. No one should have to go through that after being a loyal customer. It's frustrating and frankly exhausting to be treated like your intelligence and integrity don't matter -- especially when you're just trying to take care of yourself. I have never felt so disrespected at a place that markets itself as a luxury wellness experience. I have no intention of ever returning to this chain again. If you're a woman who values good energy, honest service, and respectful communication in your self-care routine, I strongly suggest choosing a different Skin Laundry location -- or skipping this chain altogether read more

Worst customer service. They send you away if you're not there early. They will change your appointment without asking and then if you dont get there early (without notice of new time) they will cancel it. They send you away if you have a cut. They will charge you a cancellation fee if you tested positive for covid. I tried to cancel and then they continued to charge me afterwards. Go to the glendale location. I recommend doing the $250 monthly membership which includes unlimited signature or resurfacing laser facials. Downtime is nothing for signature and minimal for resurfacing. Hello, My name is Jasmine. I've had multiple memberships at Skin Laundry over the years and really enjoy coming for visits, but become pregnant and obviously was not able to use my credits. My SL home location is Larchmont Village where I originally signed up. My location was happy to transfer my credits to my husband if he signed up for membership- which he has done since then. He now has an accumulative 11 credits to include mine ($150 x 11 =$1,650.00). He wishes to cancel his membership as he seemingly cannot manage to make these appointments with his busy schedule. According to the manager onsite at the Studio City location, our credits in total will no longer be useable by either of us since we are both no longer members- meaning we would lose $1650.00. I cannot imagine this is true, and that a professional establishment operates their business in this manner. Can someone please help shed some light on this?
