And doesn't look appetizing, the onion was chop very big in the pho and they add bean sprout in the pho without putting on the side so my kids will not eat it. Pad Thai was good and ok I can taste the ketchup they put in it. Cashews with Crispy Chicken was too salty and sour for me couldn't finished it. I went there today for the first time bc I love Thai food. It was good until I went home to eat my left overs. There was a piece of napkin or cardboard in my food bc it wasn't edible. Jai Dee is my most frequented restaurant in town, as it is just a short walk down the hill from UT campus. I have lunch there often, but rarely dinner, because parking in minimal. Jai Dee's Thai dishes are all solid. I think there are better places in town for curry, pho, and summer rolls, but they rarely disappoint. It's good, flavorful food for a really good price. My favorites are the panang curry (although, sometimes it's not quite as thick as I like), the drunken noodle, the garlic and pepper, and the sex on the beach roll. I'd highly recommend dropping by in you want a quick and flavor-filled lunch. But, it is kind of an in-and-out place. There is a high table turn-over. Since it's on campus you'd probably assume it's terrible, and you'd be wrong. The atmosphere is basic, and you order on line for dine in or to go, both of with are served in to go containers. I eventually parked at the Tyson House, amid all of the "Private lot. No parking. You will be towed/booted. If we see you park here we will flatten your tires. The soup was quite bland and very salty. It was broth with a handful of small noodles. Not even sure what kind of soup it is supposed to be. The egg rolls were crispy and had good flavor. After waiting for the molten lava level hotness of the massaman curry to subside, I was finally able to partake. The curry itself was a little thin but had nice flavors. Could be more creamy with additional coconut milk flavors, but all-in-all, not bad. The guy behind the sushi counter was very nice and gave us tuna appetizer while we waited. I have to say, the sushi was great and the portions are huge! I ordered the fried rice which came with miso soup or salad. I chose the miso soup. The waiting time was reasonable (I ordered to go). The miso soup is pretty good. The man behind the counter said that they can make the rice spicy from a scale of 1 to 5. I chose 2 to be safe lol. Well it sure does have some spice! This is a solid choice for Thai food in Knoxville. It's conveniently located near East, South and North Knoxville. I came for lunch, which is a great deal because you get an entree for 8 bucks. I ordered the pad see ew and my sister got drunken noodles. This was her first time eating Thai food and she thoroughly enjoyed it. The pad see ew was perfectly charred and hadh so many fresh veggies! Also, they do not skimp on the spice, so be prepared or say zero spice level. I took off one star because their spring rolls are not as fresh as they could be, so I may have to find another spot to satisfy that craving. The portions are pretty large and the price is reasonable. As a Thai restaurant, the pad thai should be perfect, but it was just mediocre.

We always order out from here but REALLY delicious thai dishes. Have also had the sushi a couple of times...super fresh, and good value!
