    Chocolate covered pretzel iced coffee

The coffee was good, not the best ever, maybe because of the flavor I picked. It took a bit to get it 'cause it's a popular place, and I don't know many other coffee shops around there besides Starbucks, but the staff was nice, and the prices were reasonable.

I ordered a BLT to go with coffee, and somehow they lost the order. After 20 minutes I asked about it and they said they would make it now. It came soon after. It was just ok.

The drinks here are amazing the Vampire Kiss and Snickers Mocha were delicious. Ambience 10/10 for local cute coffee shop

Cookies n cream iced coffee with a shot of expresso!

Amazing. I was on my lunch break, craving something light and saw this spot. Passed by dozens of times but had no idea how high their potential is. As soon as I got to the drive thru someone immediately came out to take my order and thank the lord she was so patient and pleasant with me. I honestly was expecting frozen food but no, the quality is like your go to deli spot. I don't normally drink coffee but I was so interested in the cookies n cream iced coffee that I had to try it. It was gone before I even finished my sandwich! I'd like to keep this place on the DL but if you ever are hungry/thirsty and pass by, definitely check this gem out!

It is located within a big parking lot. So lots of parking. The building is pretty small and have a drive through. I went in for a quick cup of coffee. I got the big daddy latte. They plump white chocolate, dark chocolate, and caramel with two shot of expresso and whole milk. It is pretty basic. Subpar. They ran it pretty efficiently. I was out than last than 5 minutes.

I could get this at McDonalds. Nasty disc of reconstituted 'egg product'

I know this place is an institution, and their coffee is just fine. But their breakfast sandwich is inexcusable. Y'all call this an egg? Is this McDonald's? Why not just crack a real, fresh egg? I should have known when they didn't ask how I wanted my egg cooked. They clearly only do them 1 way... I threw the disc of egg-product away, and begrudgingly ate my passable biscuit with bacon and american cheese and finished my cafe au lait as I resolved never to come here again!

Holy Grail breakfast stop! Lately...something won't let me eat fast food breakfast. Because gross. But if I'm starving in the mornings which is always I always order from J'aime Le Cafè. It's a quick stop away from my office if I need to pick it up and most times I place my order on Waitr so it's ready when I arrive. Typically I order the "make your own sandwich ". I get the croissant with turkey and and spinach and it definitely holds me over until lunch. It's a cute, quaint spot that's always full of people when it first open. Tons of coffee and tea options and there's even salads and sandwiches to grab for lunch! A gem in Marrero!

We checked into our nearby hotel a bit early in the day and was looking to hit the streets for a spot to get a chill/light breakfast, a coffee and maybe a cocktail. We found all the things at Luzianne Cafe. Whether you belly up to the bar or grab a table, both of which are first come first serve, you start at the counter where you order, pay and grab your table number. It appears that during busy times they allow you to sit first and order from the QR at your table, this is an assumption given the code to order at the table, but the sign at the entry directed folks to the counter to order before sitting. For breakfast, we got the breakfast biscuit which came with eggs, bacon and cheese, and sided it with grits. The breakfast sandwich was solid, eggs were a bit soft and grits were more mealy than we are used to, but I think that may be authenticity of the area more than anything. I opted for the three option omelet with onion, sausage and gouda plus a side of sausage links. The omelet, though odd sounding combination turned out to be solid. Maybe it was my options, but it was decently "one note" in flavor. I tossed a little hot sauce on and that helped. However, while the sausage links were not much to look at, they were tasty, with a nice snap to the casing and meaty inside. To go with our breakfast, I got a cold brew with a splash of almond milk while my partner embraced NOLA and started his day with a bourbon sour. Both of us enjoyed our choices! Service was friendly and helpful at the counter/bar. The food runner was nice and then another member, assuming the Manager, that stopped by to check on us mid meal. She was super friendly and nice. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and drinks at Luzianne. Minor things noted, mainly on the cook of the eggs, but nothing awful. It his the spot and checked the boxes!

Like where have I been?! We are forever grateful for that alone. As someone who already loves Vietnamese culture through food here in New Orleans, this place just hits. Vietnamese coffee is a staple for me--not even for energy, but for the flavor. If you know, you know... that bold, strong, chicory-meets-condensed-milk moment. It's rich, it's cultural, it's intentional. And when you start adding things like pandan cold foam? Simple, but it speaks volumes about the influence and beauty of the Vietnamese community here. I respect it, deeply. Now let's talk about that Croffle... a croissant-waffle situation. I went with the Chantilly and berries because... you already know, I'm gonna choose what feels like home every time. The cream was smooth, the fruit was fresh, everything worked. My only thing--personally--it was a little heavy on the almonds for me. Still good, just my preference. We also had The American--eggs, bacon, French ham, hand-cut fries, garlic aioli, and a baguette. I shared it with my son and made my own little sandwich moment with it. Used the aioli as a base, layered the eggs, bacon, and ham... and I feel like that's exactly what it was meant for. Solid, simple, and filling. I've tried a few other things too like the bánh mì and donuts. The bánh mì was good, donuts were okay... not my go-to for that. But that frozen cocktail? Listen... it was TOO good. Took it to a festival with me and between that drink and that sun, I slept the whole festival away lol. Overall, I'll definitely be back. I still want to try more from the kitchen--especially that chicken everybody keeps talking about. This is a great spot for early weekend brunch, late evening studying, or weekday coffee runs. Not too small, not too big. Beautiful lighting. A really good addition to Gretna.

The hashbrowns were very crispy and seasoned well, so I loved them, as soggy hashbrowns are a major pet peeve of mine. The chicken biscuit was good, but I'm not 100% sure it was to my taste. It was massive and very hard to eat, and there was a lot of fried chicken skin. The mayo on the sandwich was definitely homemade and had a very strong egg flavor, so I would go without that next time. The biscuit was probably the best biscuit I've ever had. As a California girl, I think the flavors might have just been a little too strong for me, but still a great spot to stop by.

NOT TODAY..... April 19 ( today ) was one of those days that leave you scrat hing your head in amazement. It was the wife and I and another couple a father and his kid. The place was empty. Our waitress was the short and wide woman with dark brown hair..She's been pretty decent in the past as she's waited on us before without any issues. Today wasn't one of those days. We had to get another waitress to take our order and she said she doesnt take orders she would have to " FIND " our waitress...We ordered and a few minutes later our food was placed on the expedite shelf where it stayed for exactly 7 minutes and 35 seconds. The cooks even shouted a second time for our waitress . We'll she thought playing around with the napkin dispensers was more important than taking care of her customers....When we finally got our food it was Stone Cold , I'm not one that will easily complain about the smallest detail but this was utterly ridiculous for only 2 couples in the place...I can see things might be skipped here and there in a Full House but Damn. We had to chase her down every time we needed something or use other waitresses to chase her down because they didn't want to serve us because we weren't their customers. After everything was said and done we got to-go boxes and I told the waitress how cold the food was for the extraordinary ammount of time it spent on the shelf and that I was just gonna take it home and heat it up... Did I get a Sorry? ..NOPE.....Did I get anything comped ( Which I wouldn't expect or accept )...NOPE..... I'm not one of those people that complain just for the sake of complaining... Our waitress was on another planet today , her body was in the restaurant but her brain was somewhere else...
