I love that Cubby's has this option. It's so caring and really makes you feel connected to others and what the business is about. I was particularly grateful for it because my free sundae allowed me to treat a friend to a quart of their favorite ice cream. It's chocolate marshmallow and it was heavenly! The staff here are so friendly! I've never had any issues ordering and I've been here more than a handful of times. The place is really cute. I love the large outdoor deck with oversized games. Too cold, or not for you... there are regular sized games all throughout inside. I just think that's the coolest thing. We sampled 3 different flavors and they were all good, but nothing to write home about. One thing that surprised me is that they vary their menu every week. The problem with that is that this was not a week for cookie dough ice cream! I'm fine with variety up to a point. But there are certain essential flavors that you really need to offer every week. While we were sitting at a table another customer came in wanting to buy a pint of his favorite ice cream. It was a berry flavor but I forgot which one. It turns out this wasn't the week for that flavor either!! Seems like something that could be fixed fairly easily. The store is very small, so that probably has something to do with it. Seems like a better solution would be to find a bigger space, then they can offer everything every week. Just my humble opinion.
