No matter what your age, experience, or taste in music, we will prepare you for the next level. Our music instructors offer various book methods, modern techniques and proven older techniques to our students. We offer private 30, 45 and 60 minute music and art lessons as well as beginning group piano and guitar classes. Rock, pop, and jazz ensembles are also taught in our very well equipped rooms. Private and group art lessons for all ages are taught here are as well as online music and art classes over skype. Guitar lessons, Bass lessons, Piano lessons, Vocal lessons, Drum lessons, Woodwinds, Strings, and Brass. We also offer lessons on Banjo, Mandolin, and Ukelele. Topics include: Sight Reading Melodies, Improvising, Theory and Harmony, Reading rhythms and Music fundamentals. He answered all questions, let me "kick the tires" and noodle around with several guitars to my satisfaction, and was very easy to deal with. I did buy an excellent Dean exotica acoustic electric & amp. Cannot sat enough good things about this awesome guitar. My thanks to Dennis. Also decided to take lessons from him. He is a guitarist in his own right and is patient. (As a retired teacher and administrator I do know that patience is a virtue.) His assistant, Louis, is a dynamite guy - also a very talented musician. If you are looking for an honest guy who knows his stuff, then Dennis is the man for you and his shop is the place to go. We recently left 3 musical instruments at MeKeels Music Shop, for them to find a buyer…read more We did not get anything from them in writing which was our mistake. When we called to find out their progress we were told that he sold one of the instruments. We asked why he didn't call us he said I lost your number. He told us the amount he got for the instrument and we were shocked at how low it was. He never called and told us he had a buyer and the amount he was offered for it. When we called him, he was very indignant on the phone and hung up on us. We went to the store to get the money he had for the one instrument and pick up the other two. When we got there we were able to locate one of the instruments. Upon asking about the other he at first could not remember where it was. Then said oh ya I sold it. But didn't remember the amount or who he sold it to. He gave us what he thought he got for the two instruments. When I told him I was going to put something on Yelp he told me if I did he would come to my house. So remember get something in writing before you do business with MeKeels.
