Honest shop with great prices !! Brought my car here from another shop as Brad was $250 cheaper then the other high priced crooked shop. Brad had my car in and out in a few hours. He even took the time to look at a few other minor issues and repaired 1 FREE of cost. Looked up a computer code for me bcuz the engine light was on and he showed me what to do and gave me the part number. I couldn't be more pleased with the help I got from Jake's. I had never been there before, showed up unannounced and Brad went out of his way to take the time to look over my truck and confirm the repairs that were needed. The work was done yesterday on time and at a reasonable price. In the past I have taken my vehicles to the dealership and always left with the feeling I was being taken. Best mechanic ever. Seriously. Jake has been taking care of my car from day 1 - had him inspect it before I bought it and have taken it there for service ever since. I'll never go anywhere else for repairs! These guys work incredibly fast, do excellent work and, most importantly, are honest. I have never felt nickel and dimed at Jake's. They do a great job explaining their thought process as to what they think the best course of action is, and they'll tell you when it's worth spending a couple extra bucks for a higher quality part or whether you can reliably go with what's cheapest. Brad is very knowledgeable, trustworthy, friendly, and above-standard from what I've dealt with in Mechanics. The shop was small, but well worth it. He always goes above and beyond. My first time experience: I initially called with questions to do with an oil leak and he went through all of the possibilities and gave me an estimate over the phone (to be verified once he looked at it). He fit me in that day to look it over and give me the actual estimate(the estimate took less than 2 hours!). He gave me a quote WAY below other estimates and he figured out it wasn't what I had previously thought it was (an oil change center took a guess without looking closely). I left my car for him at the end of the day on a Wednesday to begin fixing when he could (he estimated Friday morning because he was booked Thursday), and he fit it in Thursday anyway! It was looked over and completed, cleaned up, ready to go, in 24 hours from when I dropped it off! I was completely satisfied with the quality of the service, pricing, and customer service. I will DEFINITELY be going back and will be recommending him and this shop to anyone looking for a good mechanic in the twin cities. A++. Thank you again Brad!
