They had me at the salsa! I walked in to a clean environment and a friendly staff. They have so many options on their menu, so it was easy for my friend(a vegetarian) and I to decide on what we wanted. Their prices are so low and as a student this is great! Such a great taqueria!!! I've tried several different items on the menu and everything has been delicious!! Their portions are very large, easy to get two meals from one! The absolute best part of this place is their fresh salsa bar!! The green salsa is amazing! The staff are friendly and the service is quick. They always keep a close eye on the salsa bar too and make sure that it's fresh and the containers are full. They have great happy hour prices for beer too if you enjoy a cold one with your meal. They were able to take the order online, the menu options were complete and thorough, all sides and beverages were easy to find on the menu, and they were able to handle dietary restrictions of a couple of my staff. This is, hands down, our new favorite taqueria. Wish we would've discovered it sooner. We haven't had the pleasure of dining in, as I hear it's a really nice place, but we order through UberEats a couple times per week. They are the only restaurant that pays attention to the "notes" through UberEats & their food is ALWAYS on point. It's just so good. It's hard to find good, quality carne asada & their's is awesome. The lady that took our order was rude when I went to pick up my order tonight. They screwed up on my burrito and my wife told her that I wanted to put the green sauce on the side. She had no clue what she was talking about so gave us a $10 dollar cup of green sauce I told that's not what we ment. She wanted to argue with me and tell me my wife was a liar over and over. In the 30 years I've lived here, I have NEVER had a better burrito!!!! I bought the chicken (huge) and another with carnitas. OMG they were both incredible!!! The chicken and carnitas were in big chunks, not just little pieces - I can't even tell you how FABULOUS they were!!! I have to say that one huge burrito would certainly feed two but, since my husband had half the carnitas tonight, I can't wait to eat the the other half tomorrow and he can have the chicken. He's an amazing Is chef.!! My favorite thing is consistency when it comes to a restaurant and this place has been delicious each time. I ordered on DoorDash for pick up, but when I got to the restaurant, I was informed my order was canceled, it wasn't working on their end (hoping I get a refund). I went ahead and ordered in person and was informed that it would be a 20 minute wait. After waiting for over 20 minutes, I noticed that people who ordered after me and they ordered a lot of food (I only ordered one burrito) were receiving their food. I've tried to give this place a chance, actually MULTIPLE chances and I have been SEVERELY disappointed and traumatized from this place. I have a low BMI and i typically eat healthy portions but MY GOD, that mega burrito that I paid a whopping $13 for that I was told could fill 3 people couldn't even fill me or 3 toddlers. Not only that but even a rat wouldn't be satisfied with the small amount of chile verde they gave the first time. I think i could get more meat from a can of dog food than I received in that chile verde. I really hope they give bigger portions to the rest of you so you don't have to buy another meal or TWO right after you leave this establishment.
