MOUTH MAGIC Happens here! Stop right now....push directions…read moreand go to Moon Mountain immediately! There is so much to try at this treasure shop! Are you feeling like a power bowl, a coffee, a vape, a matcha, Kratom, kava....it's all here! Not only is it here, it is delicious and served up by an awesome team led by a very cool owner. I have always disliked matcha (and I've tried it all over the world...) I mentioned that to the owner and he said "Nooooooo- you've not had it made the right way!" And he gave me an awesome education about matcha. Even shared the one he was making so I could experience it the way God intended....with an "ahhhhh" , a smile, and a chocolate cold foam mustache! Perfection! It didn't taste like dirt, it tasted like a chocolate covered strawberry in liquid form! We intended to pop in for a coffee, stayed for a coffee, a matcha, an education, and the cool vibes put out by the folks here. They actually talk, smile, laugh and joke with their new friends (aka. customers) which is a very nice change from some places you go these days. Thanks so much for the magical mouth magic Moon Mountain...we will be back soon! You have created a Lunartic!

Moon Mountain has the chillest, relaxed vibe of any coffee shop I've been to in the Brandon area…read more With plentiful seating for relaxation, playing board games with the friends, to drinking at the bar, this cafe is perfect for every occasion. I friend recommended this place for their coffee and homework time. So I proceeded to do the same today. The music is THE best, I loved every song they have put on. They have a guitar for any artist to play and many drink options like kava tea, loose leaf, coffee, smoothies, beer, sodas and more! The barista/bartender Zoey was super sweet! She answered all my newbie questions and recommendations. I tried their iced latte with coconut and caramel which was DELISH. The coffee was smooth with a strong flavor which I like, but not bitter. I will for sure be back! This is my fav spot now for homework sesh time in the Brandon area.

(I am missing the items we ordered, so I'll have to come back here and add them later, but all that matters is four people had completely different entrées, and we were all very pleased.) How pleased were we? So pleased that, a mere 7 days later, we're about to drive 1.25 hours to have another meal there, this time with our extended family of 14. The host greeted this warmly and had us promptly seated. Our server, Danielle, was magnificent! She attended to us very well providing excellent recommendations. I also want to give a shout out to the fellow who came and prepared my pasta carbonara tableside. (Alas, I will have to come back and put his name in because I don't have it handy at the moment.)

We've been going to this establishment for years, loved the food when it was Shrimp Boat, but lots…read morehas changed since going Italian. It's not really Italian, could offer more dishes that is considered Mediterranean, pasta specials of the day could be a consideration, something different that other local Italian restaurants don't offer, otherwise, they are just like the others. We had the chicken parmesan with spaghetti, terrible. It's a large piece of chicken, should have been pounded thinner, too thick, loaded with too much sauce on breaded chicken, which makes it soft because of too much sauce, then loaded with cheese that wasn't put under the broiler, just soft and mushy. Side spaghetti was over cooked and loaded again with too much sauce, the entire dish was drowning in sauce which is just okay. Our friends ordered spaghetti & meatballs, the meatballs was garlicky and the dish loaded with too much sauce on overcooked spaghetti. Several of their dishes are made with same stuffing from stuffed mushrooms, stuffed flounder, stuffed shrimp making it easy for the kitchen but a boring menu being the food all tasting the same. Service is great and attentive even with change of staff since the restaurant changed. My suggestion is, please stop overloading sauce, don't drown the spaghetti and cut back on garlic in meatballs, don't overcook the pasta, and offer a pasta of the week, supposably they make their own, let's see something that can't be bought from a store. The owner needs to pay attention to their change of business, if you are presenting it to be Italian, then offer dishes that can be found as other restaurants, you've just become a cliche, why bother! We wish only the best for this establishment, being family owned, you've worked hard to still be around after so many years, don't let us down now.

Back in the day you'd get an all you can drink wristband for $20 and they had an amazing little hidden nightclub upstairs. It was always a great time. The good ole days can't last forever. Went with a small group on a Friday night to celebrate a birthday. $20 cover for men, $10 cover for women (cash only). Security folks were real cool and we were inside after a short wait in line (maybe 2-3 minutes). Once inside the vibes were chill, the music seems catered to an older 40s+ crowd, but I'm knocking on the door of 40 so that was fine for me. What wasn't fine though is how bad the service is, one of the bartenders must have been on pills or something because she was the slowest I've ever dealt with, I'm talking 5 minutes for her to make 2 simple drinks. She also skipped over my group to help someone who walked up that was her friend. We got our drinks and found a table outside. Spent probably an hour here, the vibes outside were what you expect from most bars like this in Tampa. Very few people dancing or having a good time, most are standing on the wall trying to look cool or scrolling their phones. The DJ wasn't the problem, the crowd was. Food was pretty bad as well. They should just hire some food trucks, the wings were disrespectfully bad.
