Food recs: Breakfast tacos were great. Comes in a set of 3. Omelette is good. Belgian waffle is fine. Crepes are rather dry but decent. I personally think they need some cream to go with them, even whipped cream would work. On a Sunday brunch hour, we were seated rather quickly. The waiting area is a bit tight but there is some seating. Staff were very courteous and quick. Parking is plentiful; none is covered. You might be able to find a shady spot next to the twigs. Seating can accommodate large groups. There was a group of 12 while we were there. Note tables of 6 or more have a gratuity included on the check already. Only indoor seating available. read more

Cute little brunch spot with your typical breakfast & lunch items. Overall a nice atmosphere, but our waitress was on the quieter side. Decided to try the classic eggs benedict with hash browns and was actually surprised at how good it was. Definitely did not expect a solid eggs benedict with a good hollandaise sauce. However the whole plate was not as hot as i anticipated. It felt like my plate had been sitting out for a good half hour before being served. Which ruined the whole experience for me. The hash browns are nothing special either, seemed like it was from a bag. Not seasoned well at all. And just like the rest of the plate they seemed cold. Customer Service started off well. Then we ordered and rarely seen are waitress. I never even was asked if I wanted anymore cranberry Juice. Food was decent.. Not to much to Jam about it to toast too. Today was my first time in. The venue is very cute smaller cozy local business. Farmhouse appeal with basic setting. The reception area had a bright and friendly hostess who immediately said "hello" and seated us promptly. I came in around 10am on a Thursday so the establishment was slow. Fully staffed our sever came right over. My order was pretty light with pancakes and hash browns. My bestie ordered the avocado toast meal. Our food came out quickly. Fresh and cooked to order. Though we were not impressed. I liked my pancakes but my hashbrowns had no flavor and a strange after taste. My beauties avocado toast was bland with a unripe taste. Her egg whites were not up to par. I believe this place has potential we may have just ordered the wrong things off the menu. If you are wanted a brunch experience that is calming, fluffy and warm pancakes, variety of flavors and options, this place is for you. The music is not overbearing, other tables conversations wasn't too loud, and we could hear our table and server during their brunch rush hour. I went with a part of four and at 10:30am and was seated promptly. The server was very nice with timing her arrival and questions with my parties' conversation. Our server and other workers came up to us to check on our food and refilled our drinks (coffee and water) promptly. The tex mex skillet and a side of your choice wa s the best option out there for my appetite. Wow, amazing brunch spot in Irving! The next time I'm picking up someone from the airport, this is the spot I will take them! Amazing menu, there is something for everyone. For the diabetic to the health conscious to kids fav options. I had to get the Migas, hands down delicious and HUGE portions recommended by our waitress. I ended up splitting with the hubs. You get the choice of corn or flour tortilla. We also got a side of bacon! The kids got strawberry crepes (without the whip cream) and French toast with strawberries. I've been frequenting Jam & Toast in Irving off 635 & Beltline for a number of years. The food is excellent and they have a magical fresh squeezed OJ machine. The OJ is just simply amazing & I've had other fresh squeezed OJ. Recently, however, there seems to have been a drop off. I picked up a to go breakfast order w/OJ and could tell from the appearance it was not the same. I confirmed it was not after tasting it. This OJ tasted like a not from concentrate bottle. Also, had a side order fruit cup and the cup wasn't even a quarter full. Last visit, it was at least half full. Such a shame, it used to be worth the cost. read more

Very good restaurant for brunch. Expansive menu with many delicious options to choose from. I had the Tuscan Omelette which was egg whites with veggies. Omelettes here come with two sides so I chose the English Muffin and fresh fruit. The English Muffin tasted freshly baked and the omelette was very tasty. What an amazing experience. This cozy place made us feel right at home. The greeter was very detail about the waiting time and the available seating. We were given the options to sit in our vehicle and wait on the device to vibrate while we wait on the next available booth. 17 mins later we was sitting in front of a hot cup of freshly brewed coffee with 2 skillets . This restaurant was packed but the service was Spectacular!! I ordered the Tex-Mex Skillet. This skillet gave me an option of toast,biscuit or pancakes. I decided on the pancakes. The skillet included a layer of hash browns,chorizo, onion,bell pepper, jalapeños pepper, 2 eggs and Avocado. This was a heavy meal with a good price. The pancakes were very fluffy and taste.
