I took my car here because my neighbor hit my car in the parking garage. When I dropped off my car the owner Chadi was extremely condescending. He kept referring to me as "honey" and when asked for paperwork for my car he was extremely rude. He told me my car would be ready by noon today and when I called at 10 he confirmed that time again. At 12 he called me and told me that he wouldn't be done until 3 because they messed up the paint job. Chadi then told me I needed to stop being so difficult because a 3 hour delay wasn't a big deal. When I finally got there he had left my car unlocked. My key was just sitting out in the open on some work table and he didn't even apologize for my mats that he left absolutely filthy. Overall I would have never picked this place myself and I will never go there again. So unprofessional and no customer service at all. read more

We were so excited to come here because it is right around the corner from our Aunts house and the reviews were so promising. Unfortunately nothing went well at this auto repair shop. We dropped our van off for a $90 diagnostic check and took our dog for a walk. Half an hour later were quoted $750 for three different repairs that we needed over the phone. When we showed back up at the shop we were told the actual repair cost would be $820. After consulting with a mechanic friend we desided to only do two out of the three things because we felt like the third was being over priced. Finally we settled on a $690 price for two different repairs, including 4 hours of labor. We left a $300 deposit to cover the parts (a new AICV) and asked for an invoice but were handed a sticky note with a breakdown instead. Chad, the owner, told us that he only accepts cash and to return the next morning at 9a and we should be able to pick up our van around 1p the same day. We returned the following morning as planned only to find that the part had been sent but unfortunately the box was empty. Not Chad's fault at all but still a total bummer. The third day the part arrived and we dropped off our van. After two hours he called to say that it was ready to be picked up and we owned him another $400, which was an additional $10 more then the quoted price. $10 is not a lot of money but at this point we were feeling frustrated that every time we talked to Chad the price kept changing and if anything we were now being charged for an additional two hours of labor instead of the two hours it took him. We decided to just pay the $690 that we had all agreed on and be on our way. When we went to pick up our van it would not turn on at all. Which is something that had never happened before. He tried to jump it, which wasn't the problem, as the battery is new and the van had electricity. Then Chad got under the van and hit the starter box which got the van running. He told us that this was a sign that the starter was bad. We have never had the van not start for us before... What a coincidence that this happened in his lot. We already felt that we had been overcharged and not exactly sure what he had even done. We drove around the block and the same issues that we had taken it to him for were still a problem. We decided to buy a new starter and ended up going to a family recommended mechanic instead. The second mechanic found that all of the hoses that Chad had undone to put in the new part were all loose and had not been tightened correctly. We were also missing screws to hold in the air intake which had been there before Chad had "worked" on our van. Definitely felt taken advantage of because we are obviously not from the San Diego area, we have out of state plates. In hind sight we should have asked our family for recommendations before coming here. But we definitely told them about this poor experience and felt compelled to write our experience here as well to let people know. Also found out that the Air Intake Control Valve that Chad installed in our van was a cheap knockoff and not dealership parts like he told us and that it never actually worked. read more

Second time writing a review for this place. Mechanic offered to change my serpentine belt. 2 weeks later my car started screatching loud upon start up and steering wheel locking up with a message on dashboard stating " check battery system" from my knowledge he did not install or he purposely messed something up within the serpentine belt or my alternator. Maybe that's why when he was working on my car he kept telling me to sit far away from where he was so I wouldn't see what he was doing. There's other things he did and said that gave a red flag and I know I should've pulled back from his services, and that was on me to not make that choice. Lesson learned, it's my car and I should know exactly what you are doing to it.and if your a great mechanic you shouldn't worry about if the customer is TRYING to see what and how you are working. You should have that chest out and be proud of showing what you can do lol. This guy is a joke and will try to flush out as much monet as he can from you and also make sure you come back.never ever again read more

Chadi replaced the water pump on our Infiniti G37, which essentially required a complete dismantling of the entire front end of the vehicle just to get inside the engine. Most places we called could not do the job because it was so complex, and certainly not at the price quoted to us by Chadi. I appreciate the fact that we were able to agree on a price up front and that he stuck to it. No add-ons or surprises. Chadi is very skilled, as he did the work himself, and appears honorable. I will definitely return to him should I need major work on any of my vehicles in the future. read more

This place is the main reason I have a hard time coming to San Diego. My current home resides in LA but was I born and raised in SD and the one time we have car troubles is away from home. We had to find a car repair place in a hurry as we broke down abruptly at an arco near the shop. Upon arrival the owner/manager laid down a fee of $100 just for an inspection and then when I bargained to have that fee taken off if we get work done there he was extremely hesitant. As I am a persistent person he reluctantly agreed. The next day he says it's the starter and provides a whole new one then charges $650 total. We knew we were being set up from the get go but we really had no other option. The car worked and we were able to get back to home to LA. Not a week after, the car breaks down again with the same problem. We had to get a tow to our local shop and they said the previous mechanic messed up the electrical system and it wasn't the starter at all. My mechanic hooked it up for a much much cheaper price. I don't understand why this place has such good ratings because we can't be the only people they've swindled. Though if we were that would say a lot about the people they are and who they cater too. Shame on this place and everyone else please take care of your vehicle before it has to be taken care of by someone else. read more

My cousin asked me to help him find some an auto mechanic that was not going to take advantage of him since he doesn't speak the language very well and hasn't been living here in the US very long. I took him to 2 other auto mechanics before we stopped in to this one. We met Chadi who is the new owner. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy which is the opposite of the other two shops we went to. His quote was 40% cheaper then both shops before. On top of it he went above and beyond and provided other services for free. If you want someone you can trust he is the man.
