It is incredibly rare that I say this, but Clarksville actually has something that the…read moreinternationally recognized foodie paradise of Nashville does not! This little Cajun market used to have a spot in Nashville's Germantown, a modest building now occupied by a Taco Mamacita. Sadly, Music City lost a reliable purveyor of unique seafood that still lives on in Clarksville in an equally humble space. And thank heavens it does! I've been planning to visit Little's for about 10 years now to complete my experiment with fried alligator and fried frog legs. And I finally got to put their products to the test with a two-hour, round-trip drive followed by a full scale cooking test at home. I acquired the alligator meat and frog legs in the frozen section of this tiny store, items you simply cannot find in Nashville. I also couldn't resists the breaded fried clams also in the freezer. And I went home to commence an extensive culinary adventure. I leaped into Leap Day of 2024 by frying up my secret recipe for Nashville Hot Frog Legs. And thanks to Little's selling frog legs of exceptional quality, this is one of the best things I've cooked in the last five years! Juicer than chicken, good enough to win competitions, and worthy of starting my own food truck, this would have been impossible without such an impeccable product! And the best-kept secret might just be their frozen fried clams, nearly as good coming out of my deep fryer as the best versions I've had in Maine and Massachusetts! The alligator was pretty good, too. Let's just say that I'm an excellent gourmet cook, but I'm only as good as the quality of my ingredients. And Little's did not disappoint!

When we arrived, the place had a decent amount of people, big parties and small. We were seated immediately. We were a party of 6 and we decided to go with the Happy Reunion Six Friends Combo for $229.99. This comes with: 1 LB KING CRAB LEGS, 2 LB SNOW CRAB LEGS, 4 LOBSTER TAILS, 1 LB SAUSAGE, 1 LB BLACK MUSSEL, 1 LB CRAWFISH, 6 CORN, 2 LB SHRIMP (NO HEAD), 6 POTATOES, 18 BROCCOLIS, FREE: 8 FRIED CATFISH, FRIED SHRIMP, FRENCH FRIES, 12 ONION RING, 6 SOFT DRINKS. We got it tossed with garlic butter and Mild. The food came really fast, it was beautifully presented and came in a metal pan instead of small bags. The appetizers were fried and delicious, the sauce was amazing in the seafood boil. The service was so good, they made sure we had everything we needed and checked up on us. My family and I were extremely satisfied with what we ordered and the service provided. An 18% Service Charge was added for our party. I can't wait to come back!!

They also have lunch portions that seem to be priced just right! They have Cajun and sweet potato fry options with spicy/cajun onion rings. The batter is tempura style and gives you a light flaky crunch. The rangoons have the perfect amount of filling as well. This place is not fancy, but is date worthy. If she complains fellas, get separate checks My Arnold Palmer was a little weak, but quenched my thirst. Prices and portions are reasonable.

I had the House Sampler, which is a great chance to try several different menu items: Lasagna, Chicken Parmesan, and Fettuccine Alfredo. The Lasagna and Chicken Parmesan were excellent--perfectly seasoned and clearly prepared with fresh, house-made ingredients. The Fettuccine Alfredo was good and served as a nice, creamy addition to the plate. My wife had the manicotti and thought it was great; it's definitely a winner if you're a fan of stuffed pasta. What really made the night was our server, Marin. She was great--professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. We never had an empty glass, our items were served hot and accurate, and she checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything. It's rare to find service this seamless. Between the quality of the house-made dishes and the top-tier service from Marin, we had a wonderful experience.

There's plenty of parking . When you first walk in there's fresh fruits on display. Visually the store is super clean and organized. Totally reminds me of stores in Japan. The ramen station caught my eye at first. Since I eat gluten free I didn't try the ramen. They did have fresh kimbap. I got a package to take home to my Mom. One roll was $5.99. Very pricey but it was tasty. I loved looking down the food aisles. I got a few things and was pretty happy with my purchases. The service was ok. I was not greeted or acknowledged. The workers did stare at me a lot. If definitely a fun place to visit and pick up some unique Korean foods. I even saw a vegan section in the freezer. Would recommend.
