My meal, which consisted of the pollo salteado, tostones, and ensalada, came to $15.50 plus tax. With the addition of the tip, the bill reached a total of $20.00. While the quality of the food justified the expense to some extent, it might be a deterrent for those seeking an affordable lunch option. While the tostones may not appeal to everyone's taste buds, the flavorful sautéed chicken and fresh salad make up for it. They always serve a generous amount and aren't stingy with the Mayo ketchup! The prices are accordingly to the inflation as many of us know everything is so expensive (a Mc chicken is at almost 4 dollars at McDonald's) if I was Borintojitos I would be charging more, but they working in good faith. My husband and I have been waiting for an amazing Puerto Rican restaurant to show up and it's finally here!!! The staff greeted us when we walked in. They patiently explained the menu (my husband had lots of questions). The music was true Puerto Rican music and truly set the vibe. The food was so flavorful absolutely delicious!!! Omggg the best restaurant in town!! Everything is always fresh and Hot ! The best Alcapurrias! The best empanadas! Omg their beans taste like campo beans and when they make their pernil, it's like being back home. The carneeee fritaaa, yasss, so good!!
