    Beef patty - Super delicious!
    Jolene L.

We enjoyed the curry goat plate. Loaded with lots of flavor and the sweet plantains took it to another level. So good! Their beef patties....hit the spot. Just like we remembered on our trip to Jamaica. Nice and flakey crust with generous filling. Tastes amazing! Gotta say, their hamburger is super delicious. The buns are lightly grilled on butter, giving it the perfect crunch. The patty is cooked just right and covered in Jerk sauce. Such a nice kick of spice and flavor. Their fries are done just right. Soft in the middle and sprinkled with a nice seasoning. Crisp on the outside and wow, their fry sauce....get it!

Ever since I had the Jerk Chicken at a festival, I've been tracking this food truck down to see if it's near me. We specifically make plans the day before to eat from this food truck when it is. Maybe one day the amazing people behind this will recognize our faces, until then, you can expect us there when it's in SLC! I occasionally take pictures of the Jerk Chicken I order, usually ask for no coleslaw. Their Rice and Peas and Plantains are also amazing. One day I'll try the Oxtail. Update: Tried the Oxtail the day I wrote this review, smacking!

I got the Jerk Chicken Plate and rice was really good actually. The Chicken left something to be desired though. The people were nice and got the food out really quick but I don't know that I would try this food truck again based on this meal.

Omg! This is probably the best food I've had since my visit to Jamaica! The chef is so personable! Thank you for the experience. I wasn't leaving Utah until I had your food! It was great meeting and talking with you. If I am fortunate enough to come back, you can believe I will find you!

A great food truck I had the pleasure of eating at a few weeks ago in North Ogden. Everything was fantastic from the price to the service and the excellent quality ov the food. I got the oxtails that came with rica and fried plantain and it was mouth watering delicious. The oxtails were cooked to perfection and the plantains were sweet and tasty. You need to hit them up at there next location and give them a shot.

Jamaica's Kitchen Food Truck is FIRE When I say fire, I mean ... FighhhhhhhUrrrrr for real Their food is so yummy, I'm drooling just writing this. They're one of the few authentic Jamaican food in Utah. The owner is so nice, He has such a cool vibe, he's very friendly and helpful .You can tell he makes the food with so much love and passion. They offer everything from spicy and sweet Jamaican Jerk chicken to coco bread and ting and even tender curry goat with rice and beans & more . The prices are VERY reasonable. The meals came with red rice and beans, fried plantains, and cabbage. We got: * The Jamaican jerk chicken that was to die for. He really knows how to cook. The seasoning is on point ! It was very flavorful and the meat was tender. * The Crab Cakes are SLAMMIN ! * The jerk chicken quesadillas are a MUST TRY. They tasted so good . * Ok ok last but certainly not least the * Beef Oxtail Plate : * DO NOT MISS THIS it's SO BOMB . I haven't found anything like this in Utah . I didn't try the Jerk burger or coco bread but heard it's also really tasty The food came out pretty quickly and we devoured everything. I will definitely be back. Thanks for the your great hospitality and delicious Jamaican food . ⁃ check their Instagram to find out location schedule . Ryans food adventures

Amazing! Big portions, especially for the price. I got the jerk chicken and it came with Caribbean rice (with beans), cabbage salad, and a plantain. There was a ton of chicken. The skin is blackened beautifully and a little spicy (which I love), but if you want less spice, just don't eat the skin. I don't usually like plantains, but this one was sweet and well seasoned and so good. Also usually think Caribbean rice is bland. Not so here. It's not too flavorful either, though. Just the perfect balance to the chicken. Same with the cabbage. I will be back!

We came to the Gateway as there was some event with a line of food trucks so we for sure had to stop by and try it out. Sure hope they open a restaurant as their food is too awesome to be in a mobile truck all over the valley. I believe they would do well. The food was full flavored and meat super tender and the jerk sauce had just the right amount of kick! Loved every bit of it and will sure be back when I see where they are parked!

The homemade longganisa (Philippine breakfast sausage) itself is incredible with the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and perfect garlicky-ness. If they ever consider selling their longganisa in local Asian stores I will absolutely be first in line. And then they built everything around the longganisa, forming the most beautiful longsilog (longanisa breakfast) sandwich ever imagined with the soft brioche, atchara (pickled papaya), runny egg, cucumber, cheddar cheese with that really mild bite, and spicy mayo (which is very mild, I don't do spicy and it was great). I'm drooling just typing this out. If I lived closer I would be here weekly. It's worth the price (it's also huge/filling, on top of insanely delicious). It's worth the line. Yes, the line can be kind of long so either come early or just make sure you have the time available to you. It will be worth the wait. You can take the buzzer with you into Roots coffee and grab a drink, or pop next door into Ruby Snaps and try some cookies while you wait. The owners/family/employees are all very friendly and helpful with any questions. If I have more opportunities I'll eventually try every sandwich. My friend tried the Bulgogi and loved it. The bite I had was great; the Bulgogi was seasoned really well and it also went fantastic with the brioche. The ribeye meat was really tender. I'd asked for a side of extra atchara with my sandwich not realizing how much was already on it. I suggested to my friend to add it to her Bulgogi because the sweet tanginess from the rice vinegar would complement it well, and she loved the combination -- that is also my suggestion to all of you.

I had the Manila and LOVED the pickled papaya & cucumber paired with the Filipino longganisa, and let's not forget about the fluffy, buttery brioche bun! I just can't get enough! My husband had the bulgogi and was equally impressed. Being a food truck they have a cool set up, a couple seats outdoors and a sweet partnership with the coffee shop next door who offers their patrons a place to sit and eat inside. Can't wait to visit again!

I usually have to sit there while everyone else enjoys appetizers and dessert, but here I got the full experience, which honestly felt like a luxury. The setup is casual. You order at the counter and then wait for your food, but it still feels organized and easy. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall customer service was great, which made the experience even better. For appetizers, we ordered the Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs and the Spinach Artichoke Dip. Both were really good. I had never tried deviled eggs with smoked salmon before, but it worked surprisingly well. The salmon didn't overpower the egg and added a really nice flavor. The artichoke dip was also a standout and something I'd definitely order again. For my entrée, I had the Huckleberry Pork Tenderloin, and it was my favorite part of the meal. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the huckleberry sauce, but it completely won me over. It's that perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet, and I genuinely wished I could take a bottle home. I chose the Parmesan mashed potatoes with gravy and the green beans with bacon and onion as my sides. The mashed potatoes were good, though the gravy leaned a little too savory for my taste. The green beans, however, were excellent. The bacon added great texture and flavor. My husband ordered the Cold-Smoked Sous Vide Tri-Tip with green beans and sweet potato mash. I'm usually not a sweet potato person, but these were shockingly good. I'll probably get those next time. We were already full, but they had gluten-free dessert options, which I couldn't pass up. We took home the Huckleberry Chocolate Mousse and the Huckleberry Supreme Pie, and both were incredible. I honestly couldn't pick a favorite. We definitely overdid it... but I regret nothing. Being able to enjoy appetizers, a full meal, and dessert without worrying about gluten was such a treat. I'd absolutely recommend this place, especially if you're gluten free and tired of feeling limited when you go out to eat.
