This was my first time trying Jamba Juice after about 20 years since I was a young teenager, so coming back here actually jolted a good memory of when I was a young dancer performing at a football game and my Mom brought me Jamba Juice as a Treat after I was finished! This time, after joining Jamba Rewards, they sent me a coupon to redeem a $5 Small Watermelon Strawberry Smoothie so I took this as a chance to try them again I guess I wasn't aware that the Smoothie came in red, white, and blue in celebration of 4th of July so that was a great surprise, haha. It's a Saturday and there was an employee call out. We went there, 4 people in line and a bunch of online orders and only one employee. Why can't there be two people? The employee is working like crazy but then told us she needed to catch up on online orders. How ridiculous!! I'm there with other people ready to order and pay. I came in to celebrate National smoothie day. It's very busy, no surprise, but the girl working cashier today took my order diligently. After my order was taken, I heard someone who seemed to be the general manager (says on the apron) start to create a scene. They were shouting at my cashier thinking that they charged me the wrong promotional price. (i asked her to upcharge for a size upgrade in which she did, $3) GM says, "Uhhh? $1 Large Mango-go-go?" and I think they threatened that they wouldn't fulfill the order because of their mistake that they didn't make, "We aren't making that." The service here is amazing. Jennifer and her staff are customer service oriented and really do care about your experience at their place. I had a bogo coupon that didn't get applied on the app and not only did they honor the bogo but made every attempt to try and fix it. I've been there when there are 4+ customers and only 1 person working ( the other was at lunch) and the employee worked efficiently and was calm, kind and patient with everyone that came through our called. Been coming here for a few years a couple times a week for a quick lunch smoothie when times running short. Staff has always been great, but today ordered my regular and noticed it was very different. Turned around the car to see if they accidentally made the wrong smoothie but told me it was what I ordered. They offered to remake it but if it was going to be the same, why wait and waste? This is likely my last visit, unfortunately they use less real fruit with each passing year in favor of juice concentrates, and their cups are even worse and start to get soggy before I finish the smoothie. I ordered the Greens 'n Ginger ($6.49 for 16oz), which consisted of lemonade, peaches, kale, mangoes, and ginger. I loved that they made something so healthy taste so delicious! I went at 5:35 and it was closed, lights out, with the employee sitting on her phone in the back. this review is based on employee encounter on Tuesday August 2nd 2022. My 3 young kids all wanted Jamba Juice so we drove to this location from Irvine (paying toll to and from location mind you). We were walking in prior to closing at 7:27p (closing time 7:30p) and as we opened the door as customers were walking out with their beverages the young lady employed at this location rudely yelled at my family and I that "WE ARE CLOSED" I looked at the door at hours of operation and when I mentioned that it wasn't 7:30 yet she stated "Its been a busy day and WE ARE DONE". The young man working along with her appeared to be in shock as well at her outburst. I can not attest to the quality of product at this location, I only want to relay how rudely we were treated and to how deflated my kids were who were at my side during this encounter.
