Honestly I'm an ice cream or gelato guy rather than a frozen yogurt fellow. Yet I sometimes find myself at a yogurt shop with a friend as I did one Saturday afternoon. I prefer self serve yogurt places like Yogurtland because it's easier to get the exact amount of what I want, especially toppings. I usually end up getting more toppings than frozen yogurt in my cup and I always feel judged when someone else is shoveling the toppings on while I am saying "more...more...more..." We were immediately greeted, each grabbed a cup, and looked over the flavors. There were quite a variety to choose from but I chose three from the chocolate family - hazelnut chocolate, cookies and cream, and rich chocolate. Then on to the toppings, choosing Heath bar, caramel chocolate cups, and cookie dough. There were a few tables inside and a couple outside, the latter being our choice since it was a comfortably warm day. I liked my frozen yogurt just fine - it all tasted like chocolate, I couldn't discern much difference, but it was good. Of course the toppings I piled on were what I enjoyed most. Wanted to change it up and try out the other yogurt spot in this plaza. This side of the plaza is a bit darker than the other side as there aren't as many businesses open later (a group fitness studio, juice shop, vet office, and barber shop). The shop was busy and lively at 8:30pm on a Thursday! The team was quick to greet everyone that came in. I came in at a peak time so there was some refilling and tidying needed. This location is always super clean and never crowded. Lots of parking out front. Staff always so helpful and cheerful. Was very happy it was open after 8 pm on Fourth of July. The cashier tipped himself $5.50 for my sister's order and we didn't notice until we got home. He flipped the tablet to us and it did not show the total. We thought we could trust a cashier. I would not recommend coming here since they stole $5.50. We don't tip at these establishments since no service is provided. However, I just wanted to comment on the customer service at this location. Friendly - even for those who obviously came in just to try samples. Patient, for those who took so long choosing their toppings that I'm surprised that the frozen yogurt didn't become just yogurt. Efficient as like other locations, there's not a lot of seating but the staff here quickly cleaned up so that customers weren't waiting or sitting at unclean tables. And every yogurt dispenser was working - it bugs me when the selection is limited because the machines aren't working. The staff seemed too happy ... I wondered if they were on drugs so that they could tolerate the inpatient, screaming kids and the parents who just let their kids run wild. This was my first time going to a frozen yogurt place since lockdown so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised with how yogurtland is operating so they can remain open. You walk in and sanitize your hands and put on gloves. Then you get a cup from the employee and fill your cup with yogurt on your own. Once you're done, you put the cup on the counter and the employee fills up your cup with the toppings you want. I love yogurtland's yogurt and I can't wait to go back. read more

This is a COVID review: they are very good about the cleanliness during this time. Masks are required to enter and social distancing is observed. A standard Yogurtland! Very clean inside and good fast service. I think I was more shocked that they didn't have Taro and Blueberry flavored yogurt! But they had a few good features items like the Marionberry Pie and Alfonso's Mango. Those were very good so I picked them for my little sweet tooth craving. I topped it with blueberries, black berries, almonds and coconut. Turned out to be very nice and refreshing. Yo low key this place is weird as hell, I've been going to Yogurtland for 10 years and have never seen such rude and bizarre behavior from the staff. I walked in at 10:30 PM on a Thursday night. The chairs were already being taken away, floor mopped, and a bin of mop water blocking the door. As we were getting yogurt the girl at the cash register just glared and asked if we'd be taking it to go or staying. Not wanting to deal with 2 angry staff members glaring at my wife and me, we decided to take the yogurt to go and stood outside the door and ate our yogurt. If you want to advertise a business as open until 11:00 PM, then abide by it; otherwise as a franchise location you have the ability to choose your own operations hours. If the employees want to shut down the restaurant before the advertised time, at least lock the doors and turn off the lights instead of making people feel like a nuisance for patronizing your establishment when the place is still supposedly "open." read more

I usually love coming to this Yogurtland because it's right by our house, but Thursday night 11/15/18 we stopped by and the place seemed empty! We got our yogurt and toppings and then a teenage cashier greeted us out of the nowhere and he seemed very low energy, could barely talk, and we asked him if he was ok and he said he was really sick but he couldn't go home because he was closing that night. He handed us our spoons and my husband, 3 kids, and I ate our frozen yogurt and went home. A couple hours later my 1 yr old started projectile vomiting all the frozen yogurt and he wouldn't stop so we ended up taking him to Mission Hospital. Then the cycle went on with my daughter and me etc etc. It's literally ridiculous that they make their employees work sick and have them touching our spoons as well as handing us money etc etc. I finally got around to writing this review because thank god I am now feeling better.
