Unfortunately I've been to this jamba juice twice in the past week, both with the same poor service. I've never felt so compelled to write a bad review in my life, as a matter of fact this is the first bad review I've ever written. The first time I waited a very long time for my bowl to come out, and when it did it came with an item I had asked specifically to be left out for personal preference. I figured it was a once in a blue moon thing for something like this so I let it slide. The second occasion I ordered a waffle, which is just so simple to give to the customer. However I managed to wait 15 minutes (I had asked for it in between this time). I watched multiple customers be served before me who had ordered after, all I wanted was a quick snack so I could make it to my class on time; which I did not. Not worth the four dollars, not worth 15 minutes, wouldn't even recommend to my worst enemy. As I was paying she asks if my partner was my brother while she was giggling and smiling. I've been praying for a jamba juice nearby my house and my prayers have been answered. Hallelujer!! Not only did i get a new jamba juice but it has a drive-thru??! WHAT!! Granada got spoiled. Although the drive-thru is kinda weird and very small, i still appreciate it on the days when i'm on the go. The inside is spacious compared to other Jamba Juice locations. They have tables with cute lounging chairs and it makes a good study area. It is located inside a plaza next to jersey mike's, supercuts and some other food restaurant but it's still very easy to find parking so that's never a hassle. I was floored by the lack of customer service at this location. When driving up to the window I was asked by Nik if I was rewards member. I stated no and then quickly changed my answer to yes. Reason being when I would walk into the store i would punch in my # and gain points. At which point Nik stopped rolled his eyes and looked at me. I gave him my # and he told me to "WAIT!" Evidently he wasn't ready for the number. I finally gave him my # and was then informed I was not a member that I needed to download the app. Ok, my error, things have changed. From that point not another word was spoken. Not a "here you go" or "have a nice day". He handed me all 3 items without a word. Stepping inside, the brightly lit room welcomes you with fruity smells and the smiling faces behind the counter. Not only was a Jamba juice needed in the area but they also provide a drive thru!! *Ooh's and ahh's* The inside is quite spacious with surrounding tables and a six person high table. I can easily see students studying and enjoying a smoothie here. It's also really clean, like weirdly clean, but they did just open. Once school starts all the kids will surely come running. I did notice the bowls were $8 which surprised me since I remember them being about $6 at other locations. But, on the plus side they did have SIX different options: Nutty Almond Butter, Peachy Green Goodness, Chunky Strawberry, and Watermelon Smoothie. Along with their usual flavours: Açaí primo, and Pitaya. I have never seen so many bowl options at a Jamba Juice location, very happy about the idea of trying them all! This place has become a joke. They need to hire new staff immediately. It's just a bunch of young kids goofing off over here. For the longest time they were staying open late until 11:30pm for the inside area, so that you wouldn't have wait in the 10+ car drive-thru line for 45 minutes just to get a late night smoothie. Now they've been locking up the doors around 8pm and then selectively letting their friends inside the store. I tried going inside to order and when I got to the entry doors I found that the doors were locked. Other customers arrived at the doors at the same time as me and also had shocked looks on their faces. So I got in my car and circled around to get in the drive-thru line, and after a long wait in line, I arrive at the window to get my order and then I look inside the store and notice that they let quite a few people inside the store. Where's the owner of this place? Are they aware that this kind of stuff is going on? Anyway, there's plenty of other locations in the area that will be grateful to have customers and they have more proper employees. Spend your money elsewhere... read more

After making sure I didn't lose my place in line, Nicholas took my order with a smile in his voice and sent me on my way. The young lady at the window was just as pleasant as he, and it's not possible for me to ignore the fact that (because of new health and safety protocols), these guys are forced to take orders in the parking lot. Which brings me back to Nicholas. Now, I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not sure I'd be in a smiling mood if I had to go stand in a damn parking lot all day, especially in the summer. That doesn't seem to faze these guys. They're focused on their jobs. Imagine that. In this day and age, too. Young people working their assess off to keep the country going. They don't have their hands out to the world and they're not saying "gimmie, gimmie, gimmie." They're working. Boom. Now you have my attention. Because of this, I'm inclined to go to Jamba Juice more often now. Hell, it's not even nine am and I'm feelin' like a Peanut Butter Moo'd. Not from just any, old Jamba Juice, mind you, but THIS one. Why, you ask? Well, I'm an old man, and I'm kinda tired of giving my money to untrained apathetic morons when I need service or food or whatever. I like giving my money to people that give something back to me, and I'm not talking about a milkshake. on June 18th at around 6pm at the 18145 Chatsworth St located in Granada Village Jamba Juice store a hispanic teenage girl took my order of a caribbean passion which was $8.49. I decided to go inside the store because it was a hot day and after ordering I waited for about 20 minutes, I would have waited longer but it seemed the employees were just hanging out and chatting around. I spoke to the teenager that took my order and told her I still haven't received my order. Unfortunately, I was on a short time constraint and I had to go. So I asked for my refund instead. There was two other workers there: a caucasian teenage girl on register and a hispanic teenage boy on drivethrough. (May I add, while I was sitting in the dining I overheard the guy on drivethrough openly insulting the customers loud enough for me to hear it) The caucasian teenage girl then told me she would help with my refund. But it seemed she had no idea what she was doing and just pressing random buttons. So after more time wasted, I told the workers that I would be right back because I had to leave especially to the caucasian girl on register. After coming back not even 20 minutes later, I noticed a new employee there who I assumed to be the manager. I explained the situation to him and he introduces himself as the supervisor/ team leader, Jacob. He tells me that his coworkers have already explained the situation and that they already gave me my drink. I was honestly in disbelief, I couldn't believe what he was saying, I even told Jacob if you just make my drink for me I'll forget this whole thing ever happened. I told him I wouldn't complain, ask for my money back, or even call his boss but no. Jacob instead repeated that I was wrong and gave me his managers name and number, Hermilo H (818-360-3922). I looked past the counter and noticed the three employees, who helped me earlier, hiding away in the back. I asked Jacob if I could get the names of those employees and instead of telling me outright he said I have to call his boss and get the names from him. And to top things off, I call the manager's number given to me by Jacob and guess who answers. Jacob. I asked if I could speak to Hermilo H. and he said that I need to call back tomorrow and immediately hangs up. Overall, this was the most unprofessional experience I'd ever had. You can't go wrong with Jamba - specially now with summer coming up. I always go with the Pitaya bowl - just love pitaya itself and can't go wrong with the amount of toppings they add to this bowl. I usually come here in the morning and and every now and then there's a line I don't mind at all. I only decide to go here when I have extra time. Usually the people I've encountered are the nicest people. Today I was brought to tears. The server that came to my car wearing a gray mask maybe Nicholaus was so rude. He was yelling I can hear you and I'm shouting and trying to maintain a kindness with extra pleases and thank yous. All the while he's still shouting I cant hear you.
