I stopped by this Starbucks on my way home to get a drink for my wife. I came in the early morning so they were too busy yet. This store location is in a plaza with a lot of parking spots but I found parking easily. When I walked inside, I was greeted right away and was able to put in my order. I got my wife the venti iced chai latte with light ice and I got a venti iced water. While I was waiting, I looked around the store and they have a monitor that will tell you the status of all their orders. They took some time but they had a lot of orders already. When my drink was ready, they announced my name. The ice wasn't light in the chai latte but it was light in the water. That was the only issue I had here. My wife loved her drink and the water was fine for me. read more

Thank you to the lovely ladies working last night who were able to fix my cousins matcha with a lined caramel cup! They were so understanding we didn't know you ask for drizzle around the cup when you ask for caramel (extra). We left very happy and understanding of how to correctly order. It's been a while since I have received great customer service at a Starbucks. This morning on my way to Camarillo I stopped by this location for a cup of iced coffee. Lots of parking, lots of indoor and outdoor seating near a water fountain. The cashier was friendly and helpful so was the barista making my drink. I'm not huge fan of Starbucks I always prefer more boutique coffee shops. Although the coffee is always consistent you always know what you going to get. This location messed up yesterday. I spent $72 on travelers coffee meant to be for a 10am brunch. Ordered it Friday to be picked up Saturday at 9:30am. My husband went to pick it up and it wasn't ready. He didn't get to the party until 10:25, then there were no cups included to serve the coffee. So wasn't able to serve the coffee until 11 after having to go pick up the cups. At that point, it was getting close to Lunch and it was pointless as the pastries to go with it were now eaten up. I spent all this money and ended up wasting coffee because by 11 no one was interested. Very disappointing. read more

I'm so disappointed in the girls that work here at this Starbucks! We spent $20 on food here and sat outside to eat, then my 3 year old and I (pregnant) needed to use the restroom, they denied us saying we can't and I asked why but they said they were closing soon! It was 7:42 pm and they closed at 8!!! They can't even let a paying customer with a toddler use the restroom for one second?! I asked twice after I was shocked at the first no but then the other girl told the other worker there to close the restroom door and not let us! So rude, also after I bought food and drinks, we went and asked for water and was also given a hard time asking if we were paying customers because they don't just give water to anyone! Like what is going on with them (this was before the bathroom issue ) please a manager needs to coach their employees that were working the closing shift on 7/12/24. read more

I recently started working in the same plaza as this Starbucks location. I'm not from this area but coming to this Starbucks makes me feel at home. I noticed their "welcome home" handwritten on top of their door this morning and it made me realize that I definitely do feel at home. Staff is always friendly, I was never greeted by someone who is not. On my frequent visits, I am greeted by Kasey and Alex whom I wanted to shout out this review to. I frequent this store weekly minimum. And today is the last time I step foot in that store. I ordered a decaf americano. Splenda and half and half. Get to my car. No spends and no half and half. Go back and ask for it. I'm met with a sour faced girl that was not very friendly although her effort to be friendly were clearly failing. I told the guy twice DECAF. Well 1/2 way through my appointment I realized I did not just drink decaf. Nope. Regular coffee I order decaf for a reason. And that reason is caffeine is bad for me. I spent the following 2 hours pulling my guts out thanks to a shitty cup of coffee. Thanks for that guys. At least the little kids in there don't know what good customer service is. But if they keep going to that store they will Never learn what good customer serve really is. Y'all charge to Much to be treated like that. The staff seems to have a big turn over. Beautiful interior from before. The new remodeled interior really gives it a new opening space, somewhere to hang out with friends and family. The service from the staff have been nothing but top notch. They make you feel welcome. The variety of food is limited as the star of Starbucks is of course is there handcrafted drinks, ranging from Coffee, Frappuccinos, and there cold refreshers. Food comes second with sandwiches, pastries and other snacks to go. The good thing about this location is that you can get a nice cold drink to go and visit the other food court spots like Wing stop, Baja Fresh, or even Panda Express. read more

This is such a great establishment! The employees are fantastic, this location's customer service is phenomenal. I was in a bit of a hurry and ordered the wrong drink (which by the way, wasn't for me) I shortly realized after and went back inside to explain, they said no worries and gave me the CORRECT drink within minutes at no charge. Just moved into Simi Valley last week and this has been my go to coffee shop for the last couple days early morning. The staff here are really friendly! So that is a plus, the location is newly remodeled and it's absolutely gorgeous, and it matches the more modern Starbucks locations I've seen throughout the valley. I have a go to order, always getting an oat milk latte. The last couple times I've noticed they can probably dial back the steam because that oat milk burns so quickly! Dear Starbucks employees here and elsewhere - please read mobile orders more carefully. I don't ask for much, just the right cup size and amount of sugar. I am not asking for my Grande to be served in a venti because I'm trying to score a free 4 oz of black liquid goodness. No, I'm drinking this damn thing in my work car and trying to avoid spills (also leaving room for cream sometimes). This is really an issue when I want a decaf which you guys don't make anymore by the pot so you do a pour-over. So whichever high school drop out (it's 930am on a Wed.) just made mine put 4 extra onces of water into my coffee that was made for just 16. So I'm sitting her enjoying some majorly thin java. Yum. Also, NO the sugar doesn't magically mix itself into the coffee. It needs to be stirred. Too busy or lazy to do this, then put out something for me to do it with. Smallish location near the Regal Cinema, Yogurtland, and more. Dear Hubby, Dearest Daughter, and I were there on Christmas Day in search of a heated space and warm beverages. We'd underestimated the crowds at the movies after families had opened their gifts earlier in the day. We didn't want to see our chosen film from the first row of the theater, where we'd need a chiropractor to straighten out our necks thereafter. It was really cold out that day. Pleasantly surprised to find Starbucks open, we dropped in for lattes. Many of the staff members, and the patrons, too, were all decked out in pajamas. Guess I missed the memo that it's the new out & about attire on Christmas Day now. Cute and comfy! The store was hopping; all the seats were filled, and the line was steady for ordering. Seemed like they had an extra barista on for the day, as the drinks came out quickly. We ended up going outside and sitting overlooking the fountain, shivering all the while, as there was no where to sit inside. Definitely, the outdoor space would be pleasant on a nice day. This Starbucks sucks I spent $12 on two drinks and was very disappointed with my order, it's been twice that I order a iced caramel macchiato and they make into the other drink I ordered which is a iced white mocha no whip. It's literally the same drink just different label. These people are so lazy to make my order correctly. It's not rocket science, nor is it difficult. An average Starbucks experience. The only special part is that if you've spent lots of time in SV you're guaranteed to see at least one person you know here given the very limited options for a decent cup of coffee (and a decent place to sit and chat or do work that has wifi and bathrooms) in town (: I would recommend ordering ahead in the Starbucks app if you're in a hurry. And maybe taking along a second driver if you're unwilling to walk a little bit after parking or don't want to deal with "a lot" (by suburb standards) of traffic/pedestrians in a parking lot, which happens sometimes during busy times.I order ahead most of the time, and my drink(s) will usually be waiting safely behind the counter of the pick up area by the time I drive there. I've never had any issues here with them making a drink wrong or giving me a wrong order, etc. And ordering in the app means your name won't get butchered, yay! read more

You can never ever find a Starbucks, not. Kidding aside, there everywhere...sometimes 2 on a given block, and certainly averages one every mile or so. But this Starbucks is a little out of the norm. A corner location located in the Regal Movie lot, is grandiose in height, elaborate in design -- that is, from the outside. The inside, the same familiar setup -- with a handful of tables both high and standard (...and few outside, too). The service was quick, the drinks were on-par with any Bucks...I have nothing but positive things to say. It definitely will do the "trick" when you need a lift. read more

This is essentially the only Starbucks I visit in Simi. It's nearby where I visit and is an easy on/off option before or after the 101. It's small but quaint. There are always people in no matter the hour working or meeting. I regularly see Simi Cops in here grabbing their cup of coffee and the staff seem to know them by name, so it has that smaller town feel to it. They were out of Blonde Espresso more than once when I came here which is too bad. The restroom is only a single person and can be hit or miss on if it's super clean or occupied for a long time. Aside from that, mobile pick-up works great and the people here working are very polite. read more

This is a pretty decent Starbucks on the east side of Simi. It is conveniently located in the Regal Movie theater parking lot. It is pretty large in size and there are seats outside as well that are shared with the other restaurants. They recently put in a large refrigerator section for lunches/snacks/other Starbucks beverages. There are plenty of different items to choose from. They also have a large pastry counter by the register. This Starbucks does get quite busy. The door on the street side is the best one to enter at because it is located closest to the register for ordering. The pick up counter is a bit small and everyone tends to bunch up there waiting for the drinks. The employees are friendly and helpful. It is clean and well kept inside. There is plenty of parking, but since it is close to the movie theater it tends to fill up quickly. I like to frequent this Starbucks when I am on this side of town. read more

NOT VERY IMPRESSED. I've been a "regular" (weekly) customer here for almost 2 years now. Always liked it but came in on 6/28 and all of the upholstered furniture was gone. Nothing to replace it. The baristas here are exceptionally kind. It's so rare. Now-a-days to experience any kind of good customer service. So when I see it it sticks out like a sore thumb. Kela really cares. My friend took a drink and made a distasteful face. Kela saw it and asked him if he didn't like it and then provided assistance to make sure we left happy and satisfied and that he knew how to order the drink next time to attune to his taste. Slowest Starbucks in the Simi and San Fernando valley. Have sent a complaint about this location and thought maybe they have fixed their problem. Nope still same problem- there is always a line at the mobile and regular pick up. Today, I ordered mobile at 832a, app said it's ready I go inside, huge line by the counter (same pick up location as in store - which is a problem!) I see a cup resembling my order I try to check it, the staff who's job was to hand orders, stops me and says what's your name? I gave her my name- she confidently says it's not ready yet. After 10 more mins I ask for her to check, it was there all along. Total wait for a mobile single order = 20 mins! read more

I come here every morning at 5:45 am to get my morning Venti coffee before my workout session. The place is always clean and ready for business. The staff here are kind and welcoming, even this early in the morning. What I found interesting was that the same coffee that I pay $2.45 in Simi Valley costs $2.25 in Chatsworth. The taxes in Ventura county are cheaper than in Los Angeles county yet the coffee is still $.20 more expensive in Ventura? I don't get it. Anyway, never had an issue coming here. read more
