The food came out pretty quickly and the person taking my order was pretty patient with me taking my time to look at their menu. The ambiance was nice too - it seems like a cozy enough place for people to hang out and I even saw someone working on their laptop for awhile. Staff is pretty unfriendly. I've been a handful of times before, and I feel like every time I go in, I'm greeted but not in a genuine way at all. Pretty much every time which is what pushed me to actually write a review. The food/coffee is way overpriced for what you get as well. When I went recently, they added the up charge to add cold foam and didn't even ask if I wanted it when I went in person. BUT, upon checking the online ordering on their website, it is so much more clear that that was an optional add-on. Kind of felt like they were just upcharging me to upcharge idk... Finally got to stop by here. I noticed their hours have been inconsistent since I was checking on their IG and they would post if they were closed that day or not. Anywho, I came on a Saturday around noon time and it wasn't packed but there were some people inside sitting down. Obviously there's a lot of greenery and feels like a small oasis. If you want to come in to read a book or do work then this would be such an ideal spot especially if you want to feel like you're outside. I decided to get the iced horchata latte with cardamom. Initially I was going to get that with soy milk but came out a little over $10!! lol wow I wasn't going to pay that much for a coffee. Alternative milk is $1 more and to add a spice is $.75 so I decided to stay w the cardamom since I love cardamom and don't come across that spice at coffee shops much but I don't know if their selection of spices is to charge more. I found the shop to be overpriced for an average tasting latte. It wasn't bad but it was also nothing crazily amazing and I've had better and it does not cost $10. I was really looking forward to trying Meera, but wasn't as impressed as I was hoping with my visit. I got a Blueberry Latte with the Blueberry Cloud Top from their summer menu. The latte was strong and not too sweet. The blueberry syrup they used didn't mix well with the drink and I had clumps of it in the bottom, no matter how hard I stirred it. This meant that some sips had no blueberry flavor and others too much. My brother got the Hibiscus Desert Rose Iced Tea. It was good but not necessarily anything special. Also, the cream/milk they added to it kept separating. The biggest thing for me was the price. It was around $25 for both of our drinks which is very expensive. If the drinks were incredible then I wouldn't have as much of a problem with it, but I don't think they are worth the price. read more

So ordering online is very easy and the drinks were ready in a timely manner when I arrived. This place is super cute and the coffee is delicious. I love when you can actually taste the coffee flavor and it's not just sugary and you can definitely taste the espresso in the banana pudding coffee, and in the blueberry coffee. So the reason, though for my four stars instead of five is that it's kind of expensive it was $24 for two drinks. I like how easy this coffee shop is to get to. Plenty of parking. When you walk in there are plants everywhere. It's decorated very cute with a few instagramable moments if your into that. I ordered two drinks to see what I might like for future. I ordered the Spanish iced latte and the caramel iced latte on her recommendation. And then I ordered two different matcha drinks for my niece. My total was about $31 for 4 small drinks. They are a little on the pricier side. They have so much ice that after a few sips our drinks were done. I also had to go back because it was not sweet at all and ask for more flavor. Both of them were lacking flavor to me. I did go back in and the girl was very accommodating and quickly added more flavor. It was better after that. Four of us went, and 6 drinks later.... We thought it was just ok and a little on the expensive side. Not sure if I would go back because it's a little drive for me and wasn't worth it to me. Cute coffee shop in the Simi Valley Town Center! I've visited Meera a few times when I'm in the area, and each visit was solid. The inside of the cafe is relaxing and leans into the botanical vibe. The drinks are better than Starbs and is on par with other coffee shops in the area. Limited seating inside, and it does get busy over the weekends. A lot of other reviewers had negative experiences with the service. I've personally only had good experiences. Meera Coffee and plants is located in the simi valley shopping center. I parked in the closer parking lot to Red Robin and then it's just a few steps away. They have outdoor seating and indoor seating as well. It's very peaceful inside and they had the Simi Valley Acorn newspaper available so I was able to read it while I sipped my coffee. Highly recommend trying the Spanish iced latte it was perfect not too sweaty and had a double shot of espresso for a medium size. They offer non-dairy alternatives which was great but I felt just a tiny bit pricy $1 to substitute the dairy to almond milk. However the coffee was delicious and worth also the atmosphere combination of coffee and plants. Staff was friendly, welcoming. read more

I thought they were in the pricey side , the coffee tastes good , but they didn't even put any swirl or any type design on my cappuccino foam. I love this place. I will go out of my way to come here when I'm craving a matcha latte, and I'm a matcha snob. Frankly, matcha is the only thing I've gotten here. But the quality speaks volumes. I love that there are such a range of flavors and that you can get some of them unsweetened - I'm personally hooked on the golden matcha (which has turmeric.) The space is very pleasant. I love the seating and the plants make it feel homey. I come here to detox from a bad day or deep focus on work and it always does the trick. There are so many thoughtful touches everywhere in here - the plants for sale with hand written care instructions, the fresh bagels, the fresh homemade syrups. The service is somewhat bare minimum, but the baristas are knowledgeable and everything else is so solid that I truly don't care. Couldn't love this place more. read more

It was popping when we went it, there is some seating space but still a little cramped, nothing wrong with that though. My boyfriend told me Meera was the next best place for coffee that isn't Makenna's or Starbucks in Simi, and I guess he'd be right, in the sense that it's definitely in the 2nd wave of coffee with their really sweet drinks. We also got jalapeño cheddar bagels, and lol I think my work has the same bagel distributor because they looked the exact same. The staff was fine, it was just kind of loud. Literally the best coffee I've ever had in my life. I came here a few days ago with my friend and tried the banana pudding latte. It was genuinely the best coffee I've ever tasted. I thought about that coffee for days until I came again today with my sisters. (I ordered it 1/2 whole milk and 1/2 sweet cream) It's so cute inside with plants and the seating is nice too. Love the look and ambience of this place! It's a perfect coffee shop to work or visit with friends and is central to a lot of shops. However, I very much think service is a huge part of the experience of going for coffee, and mine was unfortunately subpar. The young lady at the counter didn't say anything to me when I walked up to the counter, and left me waiting for quite a while without saying anything as she was working on something. Additionally, she was rather curt and unfriendly. Perhaps just a fluke or a bad day, but sometimes that really makes a difference in the customers experience. As for the coffee, it's pretty good and definitely better than Starbucks! But I'd probably give it a 3.5 out of 5-not the best or noteworthy. It's also incredibly overpriced. The customer service in this space does not exist the girl at the register didn't even crack a smile, we asked her how her day was going and she did not respond. 2 coffees and avocado toast was $30... & on top of that someone took our avocado toast, opened it and touched and when I went to ask about an eta for ours she said "oh someone took yours" and then took it from that customer who touched it and tried to give it to me...I declined. Then somehow the avocado toast we waited 15 minutes for, was remade in less than two minutes...we just threw it out because they likely just put it in a new container. The egg chair I am currently sitting in is the most comfortable chair I have ever sat in at any cafe in the world. I get what they are trying to do here and it's sort of works but the prices need to be in line with what is actually being offered and there should probably be a third person to help get online orders and in store orders completed in a timely fashion. Everyone was friendly but I just don't think it was worth it and at least for now there are better alternatives.
