She made future appointments for myself and my daughter to ensure we were seen before the year is up to get our cleanings in, I also like the fact that they will call you the day before to remind you of your appointment. My x-ray tech was fine. That process went smooth, no issues. She was also kind and respectable. Here's where the issue begins....I had to have a deep cleaning done. I was told it would be would be performed by the doctor. I'm assuming it was the other doctor because I know for a fact it wasn't the one/owner I saw before. This woman had on black scrubs and was slender. Throughout the entire procedure, water was everywhere; just pooling all around my neck, to the back of my neck and down my back. My shirt was soaked, the little bib they give you was completely destroyed. It was like a 5 year doing something and making a total mess. She was called away for a moment, then another lady came in with pink scrubs on to finish where she left off. The entire time she was in my mouth, doing the exact same thing there was absolutely no water running down my shirt or anywhere else. She had the suction placed in the properly in my mouth to catch the spraying water. It was a complete day and night experience. If I have to see that other Dr again I will not be going back. However, I did receive a parting gift at the end of my appointment. It was a toothbrush, mouthwash and floss. That didn't make up for the poor experience but it was something, I guess,

I became a new patient at Cypress Dental Group. Upon leaving they asked me to write a Yelp review. Clearly, the principals of this dental practice understand the power of social media, wisely counseling their staff to make "the ask" before a patient has exited. What brought me to Cypress Dental was obviously a problem I was experiencing, which was not earth-shattering, yet the condition was bothersome. The diagnosis required tooth extraction. The dentist and his assistant provided me with a clear and concise explanation and understanding of the process. Both were congenial and professional as were the rest of the staff in the practice whom I had encountered before and after my treatment. The extraction procedure was expedient and uneventful. I am impressed by the efficiency of this dental group and their standards of patient care. Cypress Dental Group, in my opinion, displays a passion for excellence. I am grateful for getting treated at Cypress Dental within a day of my call for an appointment. My overall experience was positive. Therefore, Cypress Dental earns a five-star review. I went in expecting a routine visit but was later billed for services my insurance did not cover, including a $404 3D scan and a $129 saliva test. No actual dental treatment was performed--only an X-ray, saliva test, and 3D scan. I was not informed that these diagnostic services could result in such a high out-of-pocket cost. The pricing and insurance coverage should have been clearly explained before any tests were done. Patients deserve full transparency, especially for expensive procedures. I strongly recommend others ask for the cost of every service in advance and confirm insurance coverage beforehand.
