Fast forward to a year later, the bottom on the band was cracked, and the facets were completely useless leaving 4 diamonds about to fall out of the only truly expensive gift I ever knew my papa to give to my granny. I was sick! Grogans did a quality fix and brought the ring back to life. I know now that my family heirloom will hold up for many many many years to come. They were quick and a pleasure to work with. When I expressed my concerns for this, I was assured it would probably be around ~$600-$800 for the alterations (they don't have an in house seamstress). I've now gotten multiple quotes for over $1,200 with the changes I need. I wish the Fab Frocks team was more knowledgeable about how much alterations actually might actually cost because now I am paying 60% of my dress price in alterations. Not to mention the "off the rack" dress is actually not discounted at all and I should've called another bridal shop to just order the dress in a size closer to mine. If you need a dress asap, this is your place! If not, you're better off finding somewhere that you can custom order.
